Re-air from 4/22/24 Mary and Lauretta discuss the new Planned Parenthood annual report with Professor Michael New of Catholic University.   Planned Parenthood performed a record 392,715 abortions in 2023, and increase of over 5 percent from 2022.   There were declines in many health services. Planned Parenthood did 31% fewer preventive care visits, 13.5% fewer pap tests, 4.5% fewer adoption referrals, and 1.4% fewer cancer screenings.   This is consistent with long-term trends. Since 2013, Planned Parenthood has performed 20% more abortions while providing 58.6% fewer cancer screenings and 67.6% fewer prenatal services down 67.6%.   Despite this, Planned Parenthood continues to receive more and more taxpayer dollars. Today Illinois Right to Life Action lobbyist, RALPH RIVERA, is with us today to sort out the legislation that is pending in the Illinois legislature. These studies were cited by Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk in his April 2023 decision to suspend FDA approval of mifepristone.
