What Is Causing Your Migraine?

Are you someone who suffers from migraines or chronic headaches?? This is the episode for you! CEO of Psalm Medical and Founder of Migraine Mastery, Dr. Tanya Paynter is a naturopathic doctor and migraine specialist. She graduated from the University of Washington with her Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a minor in Inorganic Chemistry. She attended Bastyr University and received her naturopathic medical degree in 2012. She has been treating chronically ill patients, specializing in migraines, for almost a decade and has helped hundreds of women find the joy in their lives again by helping them understand their migraines and learn how to gain control of them. In 2019, Dr. Paynter, a dedicated Christian, felt a call to leave her successful clinical practice in order to bring her migraine treatment to a larger population. She developed Migraine Mastery to help women who felt lost and without guidance in their migraine journey. She understands how lonely a chronic, "invisible" illness can be and feels that no one should ever be left to battle that alone. Facebook: Facebook Group: YouTube: Website:

Recovering From Alcohol Abuse

On today’s episode, I sit down with ultra-endurance athlete & coach Josh Elliott. He shares his story of alcoholism and how a 12 Step recovery program is changing his life for the better. Our discussion is all about breaking the stigma. So many people in this world suffer in silence because they feel like they are alone. Too many of us put on a front for friends and social media, but are truly broken and unhealthy inside. The overarching message in Josh’s story is that it’s okay to ask for help. You are not the only one struggling, and resources are available when you are ready. We talk about alcohol, but the same principles apply to drug addiction, food addiction, exercise addition, sex addition, gambling, screens, anxiety, depression, you name it. If anyone would like reach out to Josh directly on any of the topics discussed today; recovery, massage therapy, or run coaching, please click link below.

Destressing Your Budget!

Today we discuss money and budgeting!! Karen brings a unique take on taking the stress out of your budget! We are John and Karen, parents of two incredible kids, who love family time, especially time spent walking on the beach or hiking in the backcountry, enjoying the beauty of the world around us. We are on a mission to show other family’s how they can achieve more, live more, be more, have more. Right Now. With the income you currently have. We were just like you, living a “normal” life: House, cars, kids, vacation once or twice a year, sports, grocery shopping… We would commute to work and then rush home to have dinner with the kids, play outside for a bit and then watch a show and get ready for bed to do it all over again the next day. So what happened? After one of our vacations, we woke up and realized that we wanted more out of life. We wanted to spend more time with each other and our kids. So we had this Crazy idea… What if we travel the world? With our kids? Before they grow up? Once this idea was spoken, we couldn’t stop thinking about it. Was it the “right” choice to make for our family? Did it make sense to even think of this as a possibility? Hours upon hours, upon weeks, upon months of conversation, we came to the conclusion that this was something that we HAD to do. Only ONE BIG PROBLEM: We didn’t have the money! Despite all of John’s experience as a Financial Advisor and later a Wall Street trader for a small company, we had never “hit it big”. We had kept our heads above water through 4 job losses (within seemingly stable careers), multiple out-of-states moves, and a failed real estate flip. So how could we possibly make this happen without jobs that could be done remotely? Without a pile of cash? Fast Forward 7 "short” months. We boarded a plane with one-way tickets to begin our new traveling journey. Our first destination? Bali. We had gone from $0 to having 1-year’s worth of expenses saved up. The process that we discovered became the foundation for our Financial Alignment Program. We realized that our passion was in sharing this process with other families just like you, so you have the ability to DO MORE with your own family — whatever that may look like for you!
