We can tell you for sure that by the end of this episode, you'll add 'honest' to Yanga's talents. A very honest episode indeed, Yanga doesn't hold back when it comes to his story, from his days at UJ to meeting AKA and working with him to finish 'Levels'. Yanga's story is more than just penning hits for some of our favourites, he has gone through some hardships. Special Episode ft Tshego

It's Pink Panther season, and we have the one and only Tshego at the OffBoyz studio. The Maftown crooner has paid his dues in the music industry, from his days with the Sotho Mafia to his tenure at Family Tree records, where he says that he learned a lot about the music business under Cassper Nyovest. However, he shares quite a different sentiment from most of us about Artist Development and the record labels responsibility in that regard. Having recently signed to Universal Music Group, he explains to us what his deal means and the labels' involvement. He shares his working process and how he juggles fatherhood and show business. It's clear that the Pink Panther season is well upon us, enjoy the episode and keep the conversation going with #TheSoberingPodcast. Special Episode ft Moozlie & Rowlene

We have two trailblazers in the studio to talk about all things music and life, Rowlene and Moozlie are here to let us know what the word is. You probably know Rowlene from her collaborations with Nasty C, but she is steadily making sure that's not all that you know here for. We were all amazed when we found out that she mixes and masters her own music, she also lets us know what the working dynamic is like at Tall racks Records and what it's like having a young boss like Nasty C. Enter Moozlie, we don't think our intro to her will do any justice. From TV presenter to charting rapper. Moozlie has been on the up in Hip Hop and she lets us in on her secret to being a multi-faceted personality in the industry. We also got to get her side of the story of the Cash Time label situation and how she handled the backlash from her responsible driving campaign, which had the whole country shook. There's all of that from these two ladies and a lot more in between, enjoy the conversation. Special Episode ft Lee Kasumba, Lootlove & Ayanda MVP

How lucky are we? To have three of the best role players in the SA Hip Hop culture, not just as females but as human beings who stand for carrying this culture forward. Lee Kasumba, Lootlove and Ayanda MVP graced the studio to share parts of their journeys ahead of the upcoming #CastleLiteUnlocks Conversations, which are set to take place on the first day of the two-day spectacle. Lee Kasumba, where do we even start? One of the purveyors of the Joburg Hip Hop scene, she helped bring Hip Hop to the mainstream during her tenure at Yfm, she also put on some of your favourite emcees. Lee can be described as a connector in the game, whether it’s rappers to audiences, DJs to artists, and even labels to artists. Having stepped away from Hip Hop for a moment, she takes time to let us in on what she has been up to and trust us when we say she made us green with envy. Lootlove, a returning guest on the show, was introduced to the audience at large through TV presenting on Live Amp and recently made a swift transition to radio. Hosting Absolute Hip Hop with DJ Speedsta on Metro FM, she is definitely very hands-on in the progression of SA Hip Hop in all aspects. Most of us got into Hip Hop through friends, cousins and/or siblings, you won’t believe who put her onto Hip Hop. Loot also shares her struggles and joys of motherhood and fame Ayanda MVP has become almost everyone’s favourite DJ, and one thing we’ve learned in this episode is that Ayanda doesn’t take ‘No’ for an answer. She has pushed through many walls to get where she is today, from being an on-air Hip-Hop radio presenter to making the transition to a fully-fledged daytime presenter on one of Gauteng’s biggest stations. From TUKS FM and learning how to DJ with techno, to now being part of the #CastleLiteUnlocks conversations. Ayanda’s story is definitely hard to ignore just like her presence behind the decks. First things first, we swear you've never heard DJ Speedsta like this! Not this honest, serious, humorous, inspiring and still entertaining. In between all of that, we learned about his failures, falling out with his dad and how 'Special Somebody' almost didn't get released due to a last-minute financial hurdle with Anatii. There's a lot of life lessons to learn to take from this episode, this one is definitely for the books.
