SB114 - S6E12-E13 - The Sign and New Life

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Finale Review: The Sign and New Life The Agents of SHIELD season 6 finale wrapped things up neatly (perhaps too neatly) but gave us an amazing setup for season 7. "The Sign" and "New Life" may have undone too many deaths, but it gave us plenty of excitement and more unexpected moments than we could count. Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for the season 6 finale, Faith’s S.H.I.E.L.D.S.A.S.S. feature, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Mack and Daisy's argument, Yoyo's powers, Deke's big confession, May's surprising end, Sarge's true nature, and all the many reveals Simmons shared with us in the final moments. SB113 - S6E11 - From the Ashes

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 11 Review: From the Ashes As Agents of SHIELD clearly builds towards its season 6 finale, "From the Ashes" takes a deeply emotional turn, and we love it! Whether enjoying Deke's approval by his grandparents, suffering with Benson as he deals with his guilt, rejoicing at the reconciliation between Mack and Yoyo, or gasping with Daisy as she witnesses bits of Coulson rising to the surface in Sarge, this episode pulled on all the heartstrings. Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "From the Ashes," (no Faith’s S.H.I.E.L.D.S.A.S.S. feature this week), and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Daisy's extreme measures, Deke's belt buckle idea, May's surprising sensitivity, Izel's ingenuity, Sarge's awakening powers, and Flint's unusual return. SB112 - S6E10 - Leap

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 10 Review: Leap With an entertaining shell game in the latest episode of Agents of SHIELD, "Leap" gives us all kinds of answers. The only question is whether or not we're fully satisfied with the explanation we've been given. Whatever the case may be, the body-snatching was undeniably fun, and the possibilities for a Ghost Rider connection are extremely enticing. Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "Leap," Faith’s S.H.I.E.L.D.S.A.S.S. feature, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Mack's top notch decision making, Izel's sneaky infiltration, Deke's discomfort with being liked, Davis' ultimate sacrifice, Sarge's lingering memories, and much more. Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 9 Review: Collision Course (Part II) "Collision Course (Part II)" presents an exciting conclusion to a stellar two-part Agents of SHIELD episode, revealing some answers but holding other mysteries close. It's interesting that there's an extended celebration scene and a reconciliation for Mack and Yoyo with four episodes to go. You know we're far from finished with Izel and Sarge! Those mysteries that remain, especially the one surrounding the similarities between Sarge and Coulson, are more and more enticing the more we learn about those involved in the shrike invasion and their motivations. SB109 - S6E7 - Toldja

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 7 Review: Toldja Although "Toldja" wasn't our favorite episode of Agents of SHIELD this season, there was plenty of emotional dialogue between characters to gain our appreciation. As a result, this mid-season installment felt like a pivot point towards other exciting developments, especially considering we have a two-parter coming up next week. Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "Toldja," Faith's S.H.I.E.L.D.S.A.S.S. Report, and our listener feedback segment! SB108 - S6E6 - Inescapable

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 6 Review: Inescapable A bottle episode of Agents of SHIELD never scared anyone, and seeing Fitz and Simmons reconcile all of their pain in "Inescapable" really highlighted the acting of Iain de Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge. Although the story didn't move forward much, the psychological experiment was worth the price of admission! Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "Inescapable," our listener feedback segment, and the return of the renamed SHIELD Sass Report! SB107 - S6E5 - The Other Thing

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 5 Review: The Other Thing Storylines begin to merge in the latest Agents of SHIELD episode, "The Other Thing," and we're wondering what Daisy will think about fake Coulson and when Fitz and Simmons will return. In the meantime, the holes in Sarge's history seem to point towards something else going on, but we're happy with the Philinda flashback. SB106 - Executive Producers Interview

Agents of SHIELD Executive Producers Interview We had the honor of being able to speak to Agents of SHIELD executive producers Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, and Jeff Bell before season 6 began as part of our association with Den of Geek. Although both the article and our original podcast on our Sci Fi Fidelity feed are spoiler-free, we still think you'll find it interesting to listen to the insights of the showrunners behind the Marvel show we love. As mentioned in this podcast, we do have another interview to look forward to in July with the one and only Clark Gregg. You'll be able to hear this interview first on Sci Fi Fidelity, and then it will be shared in The Sandbox feed as soon as we are able. Thank you to Den of Geek for allowing us to share this on both platforms, and we hope you enjoy this special interview edition of the podcast with the executive producers while Agents of SHIELD is on a one-week hiatus. See you next week for Agents of SHIELD season 6 episode 5: "The Other Thing"!

SB105 - S6E4 - Code Yellow

SB103 - S6E2 - Window of Opportunity

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Episode 2 Review: Window of Opportunity "Window of Opportunity" introduced a whole new dynamic to Agents of SHIELD as we learned more about Sarge and his team through the subtle use of hints dropped into their dialogue. With Fitz just missing Simmons out in space, his path to redemption hearkens back to his troubles in season 4, creating a nice bit of dissonance for the journey of Fitz and Enoch. Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "Window of Opportunity," Faith’s CoulSass moments (skipping this week again), and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Snowflake's bloodthirstiness, May's bravado, Sarge's catch phrase, Pax's rebelliousness, Dr. Benson's dissatisfaction, and the cool use of portals in the jewelry heist. SB101 – S5E22 – The End

Thankfully, "The End" wasn't actually the end for Agents of SHIELD, but it still knocked us for an emotional loop in giving us some ending for certain characters. Although there is some discussion of whether or not the deaths in this finale were enough to sell the stakes that were set earlier in the season, the impact on the audience was definitely strongly felt, and the tissues were plentiful. Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "The End," a special edition of Faith's CoulSass Report, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Talbot's absorbing powers, Deke's disappearing act, Yoyo's reconciliations, Mack's new leadership position, May's surprising rebellion, Daisy's changing of the timeline, Coulson's amazing retirement party, and the completely cruel and wonderful way the writers tricked us regarding Fitz. SB100 – S5E21 – The Force of Gravity

"The Force of Gravity" holds several meanings in this week's Agents of SHIELD, not just the obvious power wielded by Glenn Talbot a.k.a. Graviton. It also could refer to the triumphant moment for Philinda shippers as their beloved couple finally came together, or a case could be made that the gravity of family is pulling the fractured team back together as well. It certainly acted as a wonderful build-up to the finale! Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "The Force of Gravity," Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about that amazing kiss, Daisy's speech about family, Talbot's continuing mental issues, Mack's reconciliation with Yoyo, Deke's increasing usefulness, the narrowing down of the villain quotient, and the crucial decision facing the team with regard to the use of the Centipede serum. SB98 – S5E19 – Option Two

In choosing "Option Two" in this week's Agents of SHIELD, Coulson turns this episode into a wonderful, horror-style survival story. The fallout from some of the conflicts within the group get their due this week as things are clearly gearing up for the big finale. Will it be a season or series finale? SB97 – S5E18 – All Roads Lead…

In "All Roads Lead..." Agents of SHIELD brings a major conflict to fruition, but there's still so much to resolve, especially among the team. Have they simply pissed of General Hale such that the Kree will bring about the prophecy, or will something else begin the breaking apart of the Earth? It's still impossible to tell where "the destroyer of worlds" comes into play, and the suspense is killing us! Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "All Roads Lead...," Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! SB96 – S5E17 – The Honeymoon

The adventure depicted in this week's Agents of SHIELD episode, "The Honeymoon," probably isn't exactly the honeymoon Fitz and Simmons were hoping for. The theme running throughout "The Honeymoon" appears to be reckless actions or personal weakness, and for better or for worse, examples abound in each of the various storylines. Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "The Honeymoon," Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about May's tough love for Coulson, FitzSimmons' need to reassure each other about their invincibility, Elena's arm pain when going super-speed, Ruby's impatience with Alex's help, and Talbot's surprising sleeper status. SB95 – S5E16 – Inside Voices

"Inside Voices" really seemed to break up the team in Agents of SHIELD, and we're really wondering how this might lead to further disaster. With Coulson out in the wilderness with Talbot, Simmons and others off in a quinjet, May and Daisy in Zephyr One, and Mack and Deke stuck at the Lighthouse, things couldn't be more divided. Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "Inside Voices," Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Simmons' controversial choice to trick Mack, Fitz's emotional reaction to her experiment, Robin's reaction at seeing May again, Hale's motivation for having Creel touch the gravitonium, Ruby's rebellious streak that seems to have gotten the better of her, and much more! SB94 – S5E15 – Rise and Shine

"Rise and Shine" was just what the second half of Agents of SHIELD season 5 needed: a boost of back story and a motivation for what comes next. Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for "Rise and Shine," Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Hale's history with HYDRA, von Strucker's connection with Carl Creel, Whitehall's plans for Hale and Ruby, Daisy's decisions as the interim leader, Simmons' surprising embrace of the invulnerability concept, and Fitz's not-so-surprising rejection of the idea of Deke as his grandson. The fear dimension plays tricks on us in this week's episode of Agents of SHIELD entitled "The Devil Complex," but deception lies elsewhere in the story as well when General Hale is brought onboard Zephyr One. SB92 – S5E13 – Principia

The 100th episode of Agents of SHIELD entitled "The Real Deal" did not disappoint! With plenty of emotional moments, happy and sad, this almost felt like a season (or series) finale. SB73 – S4E15 – Self Control

Another midseason finale of sorts for Agents of SHIELD with Self Control, and we have a LOT of questions, especially with the vignettes we saw of those who are living their lives in The Framework.
