A Key To Stress Free Living
When you can fully step into trust you will enter into peaceful rest and no more stress ❤️
The wise council God gives when I’m awake is confirmed by my sleeping heart.
Day and night I’ll stick with God; I’ve got a good thing going and I’m not letting go.
— Psalm 16:7-8 MSG
A person steeped in the ways of God will usually be able to discern the ways of God.
A heart that desires His plan more than its own, is likely to give good advice, even in the darkness of the night.
Sometimes we think the council of God is out of reach so we often strive for lesser recommendations.
Perhaps we have such a hard time discerning between our own agenda, and God‘s, we do not trust those impulses.
Are they from God? Or are they from self?
We often do not know.
Thankfully, God does not leave us there. Be encouraged; He is our counselor, and He will direct us.
And when the dividing line between His will and your heart begins to blur, consider that the two might be falling in line with one another.
If you have laid the foundation for that knowing God is your refuge, His people your delight, His plan your joy, then God has shaped your heart.
Do not trust it naïvely, but trust the work God has done in it.
He has shaped it to beat with His.

Don’t Stress About Your Steps
Don’t Stress About Your Steps
Do you feel that your dreams are off track and somehow you must have missed God for your own self-righteous imaginations?
Joseph wasn’t off track - but he must of felt like he was with all the problems he was going through after sharing his God dream with others.
The plans of his brothers for harm fit with the plans of God for good.
God saw the whole tragedy ahead of time and had woven His plan into it.
Or…. Had God seen the plan and woven the tragedy into it?
We are not sure exactly how God’s sovereignty operates in the self-will of humanity, but we know that it does.
Even when life throws the unexpected at us, it is never unexpected for God.
We are never as off track as we think we are.
God orders our steps, even when we aren’t sure of them.
Seek God and His will and be determined to pursue it, but don’t stress about your steps.
God always puts them in order.
Within your heart you can make plans for your future, but the Lord chooses the steps you take to get there.
— Proverbs 16:9 TPT

Are You Worn Out In Your Waiting On God
You can be confused, but still remain confident in the Lord
You can be bewildered, but still believing in the goodness of God.
You can be worn out but still be trusting and waiting on God to move ….
Job felt the same way I bet - he was all those things yet he was just as sure of his own integrity as he was of God’s goodness.
Job refused to be intimidated into a false confession by the accusations of his friends.
Thinking of those “almost”polar opposites - I thought of my own life and how sometimes 💩 happens and I too am at times both those things …
Job was confused yet confident
Job was bewildered yet believing
And Job surely was worn out yet still waiting on God.
As I was diving in - I found an interesting bit I saw here in Job 33 ….
Elihu had listened to the friend’s advice and also to Job’s defense — he had found both wanting…
In Job 33 Elihu brings his case against Job - in 34 he accuses Job of arrogance - in 35 he reminds Job of God’s justice - in 36 & 37 he reminds Job of God’s power…
But somehow he still never sides with Job or the others …
Elihu clearly is focused rather on defending God’s honor from misleading statements.
He appears to be a bit “short on the sugar” sympathy for Job. 😂
And even more surprising - we never heard of Elihu before chapter 32 - Nor was he mentioned after he closed his mouth- he wasn’t chastised by God along with Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar.
It seems Elihu appeared - spoke - then disappeared …..
He had the last word in the conversation before God finally begins to speak in chapter 38.
🤯
I first started to unpack all this when I saw
Job 33:4 - this is Elihu’s reply …. Job 33:4 - “ the Spirit of God made me what I am, the breath of God Almighty gave me life!”
And tucked inside Elihu’s second speech is this gem!!!
Job 34:10 …
It’s impossible for God to do anything evil.
2 very commonly quoted verses.
I decided to go back and read Elihu’s first, second, and third speech ….
Elihu was dropping some pretty powerful nuggets!!
I encourage you to read Job 33-38 and find your own powerful Promises to hold onto out of those nugget reminders Elihu is dropping.
I also want to note Elihu may have gone on and on about God’s goodness in the midst of Job’s suffering and that could be a bit insensitive … sometimes we have the best intentions and we can be the same way …
I am not making light of anyone’s suffering by stating those amazing Promises will fix your situation …
but they are a wonderful place to start and they encouraged me greatly and I want you too to know …
It is completely ok to be confused and confident, bewildered yet believing,
and to be a bit worn out
in the waiting like Job.
But …
Please hold on - and remember God is working All Things Out for your good! (Roman’s 8:28)
And Hey Cheers to Elihu!
Whoever he was for the great reminders of God’s amazing Promises.
There’s always a Promise for every problem.
So, as the old adage goes …
“Write your name on the Promises - and declare!
I too have made them mine!!”
Let me know what others you discovered in those chapters.

How To Stay On Track
How To Stay On Track
Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own.

All Times In All Ways
Peace can actually be painful for some people.
Some are always looking at life as one mess mounting after another.
They are Hyper - Focusing on the next shoe to drop.
Unlearning this way of life can be hard. For some that is how you dealt and how you were raised or witnessed life.
You learned to always deal in chaos.
Evil foreboding can quickly overtake and occupy your thoughts.
You were the one that could get busted in the lip and keep on whistling.
When the wheels are coming off the bus you knew how to change a tire quick or walk.
If it’s not drama filled - you don’t know how to deal with it.
That way of coping protected you for a time but it also actually fuels pride … never Peace.
This is many people ….
This was me for way too many years.
It’s exhausting!
I crave
I protect
I guard at all costs
Peace now.
What I found is Peace is a Person.
It’s not found in the perfect circumstances relationship’s or things of the World.
He never told us to fight battles …
He told us to stand firm and allow Him to handle them.
He never told us all days would be rosy and restful …
He said to rest in Him.
He never said chase the World’s peace or that faux peace will cut it …
He said His Peace is super natural and sufficient and only He can give.
The search for Faux Peace is rampant ….
Don’t be puffed up with pride on how well you can juggle all the junk thrown at you ….
Stop looking for it by jumping from one addiction and compulsion to the next…
Peace is never found in people chasing …
ALL those things are foolish fast and fleeting.
A over - full calendar can lead to an early casket. Not a full life.
An over - drawn account will never be able to buy it.
If you always move at the speed of the world’s “lightening speeds” you will actually dim the real Light of Life that is meant to sustain and strengthen you.
Peace will always be out of reach when you reach for anything other than The Prince of Peace.
Just some thoughts I am pondering today …
😘XXOO Michelle Bollom

Let’s lead with our ears today and not with our mouths.
Be more intentional with the words you speak today.
Weigh your words and measure the pace.
When you’re slow to speak, anger rarely gets to take the reins because this pace diffuses its haste.

Don’t Be Snared
Proverbs 29:25 is a warning, it tells us “the fear of man brings a snare”..
Being overly concerned about what people think of us, and fearing their possible rejection of us is actually a dangerous trap of the enemy that he uses to try and control us.
It will either muzzle or silence us from speaking the truth, when necessary, or provoke us to say what people want to hear instead of the word of the Lord that they need to hear.

How Do You View Your Problems
How you look at a problem will determine how quickly you get out of it.
No temptation has come upon you except what is common to mankind. For God, Who is faithful, will not permit you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear; but with the temptation, He will make a way of escape, so that you may be able to bear it.

Total Celebration
Lord, I have chosen you alone as my inheritance. You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion. I leave my destiny and its timing in your hands.
Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places. I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you, for you have given me the best!
The way you counsel and correct me makes me praise you more, for your whispers in the night give me wisdom, showing me what to do next.
Because you are close to me and always available, my confidence will never be shaken, for I experience your wrap-around presence every moment.
My heart and soul explode with joy—full of glory! Even my body will rest confident and secure.
For you will not abandon me to the realm of death, nor will you allow your Holy One to experience corruption.
For you bring me a continual revelation of resurrection life, the path to the bliss that brings me face-to-face with you.

Fear you lost your hold on me!
Louder and Louder!
I raise a Hallelujah!
I go to sleep
In the middle of the storm.
I raise a Hallelujah!
Let’s hear our praises ROAR!
Up from the ashes
Hope will arise
Death is defeated
The King is alive!
Sing a little louder…
In the presence of my enemies
Sing a little louder…
Louder than the unbelief
Sing a little louder…
My weapon is a melody
Sing a little louder…

Changing Lanes
There’s 2 sides to every coin and
2 sides to every story.
There’s 2 sides of the street, 2 sides of the bed, 2 sides to almost everything.
Oh’ the pendulum swing ...
Yes or No
Right or Wrong
Go or Stay
Winners or Losers
Every thing has 2 sides.
Recently while driving the traffic was at a stand still and I noticed I was in the left lane and it was a Merge Right situation.
I could tell many were caught off guard as well and were sharply cutting over to get back to the right as the left lane closed abruptly.
It was stressful and frustrating and soon became a bit chaotic because everyone wanted to be ahead of the other person.
As I waited for the aggressive drivers to go ahead,
I started thinking ...
Where was the notice that the one lane was going to end?
How were we to know we needed to Merge Right?
This could be dangerous ...
Why is everyone in such a hurry?
Can’t they see that the left lane ends and we can’t go anywhere?
Do I jolt out there and push my way to the right or keep waiting...?
Something about “Merge Right”
spoke to me.
Daddy God was downloading a spiritual truth from a natural situation.
How many times do you find yourself in the wrong lane?
The wrong line?
The wrong choice?
Do you ever have buyers remorse?
We all hear the saying to “just stay in your lane” etc.
But what if God is closing the current lane and needs you to Merge Right?
You are gonna have to leave your lane or risk getting hit or stuck or come to a complete dead end.
Sometimes there are no warning signs that you need to leave one lane to go to the other.
Sometimes there are and we were too busy to notice them...
Do you wait till everyone passes or just jump out in Faith you won’t get sideswiped?
What if you are holding so tightly to one side and you should be on the other?
What if you are to flip that coin, cross that street, adjust things, wake up on the other side of the bed or whatever spectrum you have been living or find yourself in?
Of course some things are clearly easier to decide sides ...
Heaven & Hell
Good & Evil
Justice & Corruption
Truth & Lies
Love & Hate
But still there is always 2 sides
2 ways you can choose to go.
Today, ask yourself...
Does this side I currently find myself on represent my goals, my values, my thoughts, my future, my destiny, Jesus? morals? Love, goodness, Truth, justice, Heaven...?
Do I need to possibly Merge Right?
... and try a new path, perspective, choice, decision, way of doing things so that I am not caught off sides for the things that matter most.
Maybe that stay in your lane stuff is not so good advice after all...
“Every word You speak, every truth revealed, is always right and beautiful to me, for I hate what is phony or false.

An Invaluable Opportunity
An Invaluable Opportunity
Count it ALL Joy … Really?
Count …
The cheating spouse
The unfaithful friend
The wayward child
The disrespectful teenager
The cancer diagnosis
The overflowing toilet
The flooded house
The burned down dreams
The cranky kiddos
The crying baby
The brutal summer heat
The long frigid winter cold
The crappy service
The dishonest people
The crashing stock market
The loss of a relationship
The failing health
The impending death
The angry accusers
The lies
The corruption
The rising gas prices
The eviction notice
The hot pavement to sleep
The busted washing machine
The stalled car
The flat tire
The loss of a job
What??? Seriously?
Yes, Michelle, count even ALL those — and so much more as Joy.
😳🤯
I am not sure what is on your list … I am not trying to marginalize your pain with the extremes but simply showing that we all have our own levels or “degrees of 💩” that can toss us about.
Thankfully many of these above are not on my list right now, but some pretty big ones are.
It’s a reminder for me and for you to not let any junk or 💩steal your peace or your joy.
And I can’t think of a better way to tick the devil off and not let him tempt you to lose your biscuits or cool or footing or peace or joy or whatever you may freak out on today or any day, is to simply laugh in his ugly face as you Count it ALL Joy!
“Difficulties are an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest JOY that you can.”
So, Count it ALL Joy…

Check out the Word 👇🏻
My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can!
For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things.
And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.
And if anyone longs to be wise, ask God for wisdom and he will give it! He won’t see your lack of wisdom as an opportunity to scold you over your failures but he will overwhelm your failures with his generous grace.
Just make sure you ask empowered by confident faith without doubting that you will receive. For the ambivalent person believes one minute and doubts the next.
Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next.
When you are half-hearted and wavering it leaves you unstable. Can you really expect to receive anything from the Lord when you’re in that condition?
— James 1:2-8 TPT
If your faith remains strong, even while surrounded by life’s difficulties, you will continue to experience the untold blessings of God!
True happiness comes as you pass the test with faith, and receive the victorious crown of life promised to every lover of God!
When you are tempted don’t ever say, “God is tempting me,” for God is incapable of being tempted by evil and he is never the source of temptation.
Instead it is each person’s own desires and thoughts that drag them into evil and lure them away into darkness.
Evil desires give birth to evil actions. And when sin is fully mature it can murder you!
So my friends, don’t be fooled by your own desires!
Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.
God was delighted to give us birth by the truth of his infallible Word so that we would fulfill his chosen destiny for us and become the favorite ones out of all his creation!

Passion For Life
…Grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.
I recently saw this verse in Psalms and thought what an awesome prayer David shared here. What a prayer that we can pray today.
It’s easy to gritch gripe and complain and not want or will to do the hard or unlovely things we may need to do, but we have a helper with us! The Holy Spirit in us helping us and we can ask Him to help us to have a more pleasant and willing spirit.
Here is the verse in the passion translation …
“Let my passion for life be restored, tasting joy in every breakthrough you bring to me. Hold me close to you with a willing spirit that obeys whatever you say.”

Climb Out Of That Valley
Are you feeling stuck like you are in the valley of Achor; One trouble after another, One disappointment or defeat after another keeps coming your way?
In Joshua 7 when Achan coveted and took and hid some of the devoted things for his own like silver and gold and a cloak for himself he and his family were stoned and burned and the big heap of stones that still remain is known as the Valley of Achor. Achor means trouble.
Could it be that you have become devoted to destruction? like Achan and the people of Israel did?
Are you covering and hiding those things that you covet more than God's instructions and know full well you shouldn't?
We all want breakthroughs and blessings but we can also be our biggest roadblocks to receiving them.
What things are you devoting your time and energy to that are not in line with what God wills for you?
What are you doing that is against His Word?
It's time to destroy and rid those things from among you so you can climb up out of your valley of Achor.
Obedience unlocks the blessings and breakthroughs.
Let's stop being devoted to destruction and be determined to move out of our valley of Achor and climb unto the high places God has planned for us.
~XXOO Michelle

On The Way Out!
Don’t love the world’s ways. Don’t love the world’s goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. A Careful, Thoughtful Listener
Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Let everyone be quick to hear [be a careful, thoughtful listener], slow to speak [a speaker of carefully chosen words and], slow to anger [patient, reflective, forgiving]; for the [resentful, deep-seated] anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God [that standard of behavior which He requires from us].

The Excellence Of Love
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love [for others growing out of God’s love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction].
And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love [reaching out to others], I am nothing.
If I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it does me no good at all.
Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].
Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part [for our knowledge is fragmentary and incomplete]. But when that which is complete and perfect comes, that which is incomplete and partial will pass away.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face.
Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God]. And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love.

Ruin & Revival
God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge!
You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you.
So we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away. We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea.
For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you.
Pause in his presence…
God has a constantly flowing river whose sparkling streams bring joy and delight to his people.
His river flows right through the city of God Most High, into his holy dwelling places. God is in the midst of his city, secure and never shaken.
At daybreak his help will be seen with the appearing of the dawn. When the nations are in uproar with their tottering kingdoms, God simply raises his voice, and the earth begins to disintegrate before him.
Here he comes! The Commander! The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side! The God of Jacob fights for us!
Pause in his presence…
Everyone look! Come and see the breathtaking wonders of our God.
For he brings both ruin and revival. He’s the one who makes conflicts end throughout the earth, breaking and burning every weapon of war.
Surrender your anxiety.
Be still and realize that I am God.

Don’t Settle For Second Best
We want God’s direction and guidance, but too often we are not willing to deny ourselves anything or even wait for it.
When we allow our own desires, impulses, or reasoning to direct and guide us, we are settling for second best.
We have allowed a “counterfeit comfort” to step in. We think that the counterfeit is more powerful than the Great Comforter; and that insults and grieves God.

Do not turn aside from any of the words which I am commanding you today, to the right or to the left, to follow and serve other gods.

Bittersweet
Without the sand - there would be no Pearl!
Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble? — Job 2:10
Bittersweet - The idea that in all things there’s both something broken and something beautiful; A shadow of hope in every heartbreak!
Bitter sweet is the practice of believing that we really do need both the bitter and the sweet, and that a life of nothing but sweetness rots both your teeth and your soul.
Bitter is what makes us strong, what forces us to push through, what helps us earn the lines on our faces and the calluses on our hands. Sweet is nice enough, but bitterness is beautiful, nuanced, full of depth and complexity. Bitterness is courage, gutsy, earthy.

The Energies Of Prayer
Podcast
“You’re familiar with the old written law, ‘Love your friend,’ and its unwritten companion, ‘Hate your enemy.’ I’m challenging that. I’m telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer, for then you are working out of your true selves, your God-created selves. This is what God does. He gives his best—the sun to warm and the rain to nourish—to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty. If all you do is love the lovable, do you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. If you simply say hello to those who greet you, do you expect a medal? Any run-of-the-mill sinner does that.

A Stunning Anthem
That’s exactly what Jesus did. He didn’t make it easy for himself by avoiding people’s troubles, but waded right in and helped out. “I took on the troubles of the troubled,” is the way Scripture puts it. Even if it was written in Scripture long ago, you can be sure it’s written for us. God wants the combination of his steady, constant calling and warm, personal counsel in Scripture to come to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever he will do next. May our dependably steady and warmly personal God develop maturity in you so that you get along with each other as well as Jesus gets along with us all. Extend Your Life
“Whoever wants to know me and receive my wisdom, come and dine at my table and drink of my wine.
Lay aside your simple thoughts and leave your paths behind.
Agree with my ways, live in my truth, and righteousness you will find.”
If you try to correct an arrogant cynic, expect an angry insult in return. And if you try to confront an evil man, don’t be surprised if all you get is a slap in the face!
So don’t even bother to correct a mocker, for he’ll only hate you for it. But go ahead and correct the wise; they’ll love you even more.
Teach a wise man what is right and he’ll grow even wiser. Instruct the lovers of God and they’ll learn even more.
The starting point for acquiring wisdom is to be consumed with awe as you worship Jehovah-God.

Don’t Follow Your Lusts To The Grave
We want God’s direction and guidance, but too often we are not willing to deny ourselves anything or even wait for it. When we allow our own desires, impulses, or reasoning to direct and guide us, we are settling for second best.
We have allowed a “counterfeit comfort” to step in. We think that the counterfeit is more powerful than the Great Comforter; and that insults and grieves God.
We are filled with Christ’s Spirit and have the mind of Christ, so we should stop being led by our own cravings, impulses, and self–interests.
Lay down the counterfeit’s – there is only One Authentic Comforter, Leader, and Guide we need.
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. ~ Romans 8:14 NIV

What Happens When You Live God’s Way
But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way. Among those who belong to Christ, everything connected with getting our own way and mindlessly responding to what everyone else calls necessities is killed off for good—crucified. - Galatians 5:22-24 Message

Roots Matter!
The same exact tree in Spring and Winter look very different.
One looks like death
One looks like life
One looks like the end
One looks like beginnings
One looks old
One looks new
One looks barren
One looks full
One looks hopeless
One looks hopeful
If we find ourself stuck and looking at the dead barren tree of Winter without the hope and anticipation of the coming of Spring we can’t move into the abundant future God has for us.
Seasons of life will come and go.
Some seasons our soul sings loudly “It Is Well” while other seasons our soul doesn’t seem to sing at all.
We MUST keep singing as though it is well even when nothing feels or looks well right now.
We MUST get a vision of our Winter tree in the Spring.
How does the tree weather the storms of life and the changing of seasons?
Roots!
Stop looking at the outward appearance of the tree.
The roots are what really matters.
We MUST stay grounded and rooted in Christ.
Cling to the hope of Spring …. it’s coming!

"To you who are ready for the truth, I say this: Love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer for that person. If someone slaps you in the face, stand there and take it. If someone grabs your shirt, giftwrap your best coat and make a present of it. If someone takes unfair advantage of you, use the occasion to practice the servant life. No more tit-for-tat stuff. Live generously." ~ Luke 6:27-30 (MSG)

He Sees You
Weight
We all carry it...
oh, it doesn’t have to be those unsightly expanding fat cells that make it obvious we are carrying more weight...
We can carry the weight of so many things and we don’t even realize the depth, destruction, or heaviness of it all until we start to let it go.
This lead image (head to our Facebook to see )has always spoke to me...
I don’t know the original author - it’s circulated for years around the net.
But it inspires me... it brings me hope... that we can chisel our way out of those weights (seen and unseen) that we carry.
Many of those unseen weights can lead to extra weight on our frames that are visible.
What are some weights that we carry?
The weight of...
Disappointments
Grief
Death
Sickness
Disease
Rejection
Abuse
Trauma
Betrayal
Loneliness
Regret
Shame
Barrenness
Unkind words
Anger
Bitterness
Resentment
Unforgiveness
Offense
It could go on and on .....
But guess what ...
As much as you try to use the extra weight as a shield or wall to protect yourself from others or keep stuffing those emotional weights down they will just keep weighing you down emotionally and physically and can ultimately destroy you.
You see, they aren’t ever truly hidden.
There is a God who sees and knows every void you try to stuff.
There is a God who sees every counterfeit comfort you use to soothe your wounds.
There is a God who sees through the tough facade that pushes back the tears.
There is a God who sees every man or woman that is desperately wanting to chisel their way out of the heaviness of all the weight/s they carry.
There is a God who sees and is waiting for you to ask Him for help.
It takes time - it takes effort - and it is absolutely worth it!
Are you ready to start chiseling off those weights today?
God is near.
God sees you.
Ask Him to help.
“You Are The God Who Sees Me.”

Essentials In Ongoing Warfare
And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no weekend war that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels. Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. - Ephesians 6:12-18 Message RestoredMinistries.org

If Ya Gotta Boast
Boast in the Lord! For it is not from man that we draw our life but from God as we are being joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. And now he is our God-given wisdom, our virtue, our holiness, and our redemption. And this fulfills what is written: If anyone boasts, let him only boast in all that the Lord has done!

It Matters What You Look At
Change always begins with the eyes.
“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.” —Matthew 6:22
No change happens until there is a change of perspective.
The good life always wears the habit of gratitude. Its eyes are trained to really see reality.
It does not wait and wonder if the good will happen someday. It’s in the habit of seeing the good happening right now.
The good life is as simple a function of good eyes. As simple and painfully hard and as profound as training eyes in the habit of seeing the good in life. Counting gifts trains the eyes. Wear the habit of gratitude — and you get to wear the good life. ~Ann Voskamp. It matters what you look at! RestoredMinistries.org

Guard Against Greed
There are two ways of being rich—have a lot, or want very little. The latter way is the easier for most of us. Many people make themselves miserable by wanting more than they can ever have. They suffer from “thing-itis,” the insatiable desire for more, better, and newer things. ~Billy Graham

Understanding God’s Ways
Give me revelation about the meaning of your ways so I can enjoy the reward of following them fully. Give me an understanding heart so that I can passionately know and obey your truth. Guide me into the paths that please you, for I take delight in all that you say. Cause my heart to bow before your words of wisdom and not to the wealth of this world. Help me turn my eyes away from illusions so that I pursue only that which is true; drench my soul with life as I walk in your paths. Reassure me of your promises, for I am your beloved, your servant who bows before you. Defend me from the criticism I face for keeping your beautiful words. What Are You Seeing?
Our struggles are often only a product of how we see ourselves.
If you see defeated - that’s how you’ll live.
If you see delivered - that’s how you’ll live.
If you see sick - that’s how you’ll live .
If you see health - that’s how you’ll live.
If you see lack - that’s how you’ll live.
If you see enough - that’s how you’ll live.
What are you seeing? Who are you agreeing with? Who are you believing? What are you confessing?
May today we all get ANew View this New Year and start to focus on the powerful promises of God.
Even when it doesn’t look good at the moment... He promises to work ALL things out for our good!
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

God’s Own Arrows
Lord, can’t you hear my cry, my bitter complaint? Keep me safe from this band of criminals and from the conspiracy of these wicked men. They gather in their secret counsel to destroy me. Can’t you hear their slander, their lies? Their words are like poison-tipped arrows shot from the shadows. They are unafraid and have no fear of consequences. They set their traps against us in secret; they strengthen one another, saying, “No one can see us. Who can stop us?” They’re nothing more than unruly mobs joined in their unholy alliance, searching out new opportunities to pervert justice— deceivers scheming together their ill-conceived plot as they plan the “perfect crime.” How unsearchable is their endless evil, trying desperately to hide the deep darkness of their hearts. But all the while God has his own fire-tipped arrows! Suddenly, without warning, they will be pierced and struck down. Staggering backward they will be destroyed by the very ones they spoke against. All who see this will view them with scorn. Then all will stand awestruck over what God has done, seeing how he vindicated the victims of these crimes. The lovers of God will be glad, rejoicing in the Lord. They will be found in his glorious wrap-around presence, singing songs of praise to God!

The Way To Live
Therefore you have no excuse or justification, everyone of you who [hypocritically] judges and condemns others; for in passing judgment on another person, you condemn yourself, because you who judge [from a position of arrogance or self-righteousness] are habitually practicing the very same things [which you denounce]. As Good As Done
Jesus was matter-of-fact: “Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, ‘Go jump in the lake’—no shuffling or shilly-shallying—and it’s as good as done. That’s why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you’ll get God’s everything. And when you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it’s not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive —only then will your heavenly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins.”

The Run Of The House
God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day—our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love. — 1 John 4:18 MSG

Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.

When We Cry Out - He Hears Us!

For women (and Men) who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do.

Radiant Hope
Even if a king has the best-equipped army, it would never be enough to save him. Even if the best warrior went to battle, he could not be saved simply by his strength alone. Human strength and the weapons of man are false hopes for victory; they may seem mighty but they will always disappoint. The eyes of the Lord are upon even the weakest worshipers who love him— those who wait in hope and expectation for the strong, steady love of God. God will deliver them from death, even the certain death of famine, with no one to help. The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in him with all our hearts. His wrap-around presence will strengthen us. As we trust, we rejoice with an uncontained joy flowing from Yahweh! Let your love and steadfast kindness overshadow us continually, for we trust and we wait upon you!

Be Discerning- Not Condemning
"Judge not the workings of his brain,
And of his heart you cannot see.
What looks to thy dim eyes a stain,
In God's pure light may only be
A scar brought from some well-won field
Where thou wouldst only faint and yield."

Pleasing & Acceptable

3 Things We Must Do
We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love. (1 Corinthians 13:12, 13 MSG)

Freely & Graciously
If you haven't had a need met yet, ask yourself...
Would God view this as a true need?
He may be delaying until a more appropriate time. Trust God's wisdom rather than doubting His goodness.
If we have a genuine need and bring it to the Lord, He will surely meet it.
After all, what could He possibly deny us after giving us Jesus.
He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things? ~Romans 8:32 AMP

CO-Laborer
You are not God’s employee —
You are His Co-Laborer!

I do not call you servants (slaves) any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing (working out). But I have called you My friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from My Father. [I have revealed to you everything that I have learned from Him.] You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], He may give it to you.

You Are Enough
I have had ENOUGH - means you've reached your tolerated level.
That's ENOUGH - means you have reached an acceptable amount.
But what really is Enough?
ENOUGH - means adequate for the want or need; sufficient for the purpose or to satisfy desire:
So why do we always throw in those doubt words.....
Like:
Coulda Shoulda Woulda
Need to
Hafta
Outta
Maybe
Possibly
Almost
Why do we keep buying the lie that we are not worthy enough, smart enough, pretty enough, talented enough, loved enough, liked enough, old enough, young enough, have enough or do enough.
Why can't ENOUGH just be ENOUGH
No striving
No wrestling
No doubting
No second guessing
Just Simply Take God at His Word!
You ARE adequate and sufficient for His purpose because He says you are.
You Are Enough because He is ENOUGH

For His divine power has bestowed on us absolutely everything necessary for a dynamic spiritual life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has bestowed on us His precious and magnificent promises of inexpressible value, so that by them you may escape from the immoral freedom that is in the world because of disreputable desire, and become sharers of the divine nature. ~ 2. Every Step Of The Way
Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way. Colossians 3:15-17 MSG
