Today Jason welcomes back Lynette Zang from Zang Enterprises, highlighting her expertise in the economy, sound money, and precious metals. They discuss the recent surge in gold prices, attributed to global central banks' increased gold purchases, despite market manipulation efforts to suppress it. Zang explains that rising gold prices indicate failing currencies and manipulation by governments to maintain control. She emphasizes the importance of a peaceful return to sound money, like gold and silver, to restore fiscal responsibility and public confidence. Zang also discusses geopolitical instability, the erosion of purchasing power, and the need for community preparedness and global cooperation. https://www.LynetteZang.com #Economy #SoundMoney #Gold #PreciousMetals #FinancialStability #MarketManipulation #FiscalResponsibility #Geopolitics #PurchasingPower #CommunityPreparedness #GlobalCooperation   Follow Jason on TWITTER, INSTAGRAM & LINKEDIN Twitter.com/JasonHartmanROI Instagram.com/jasonhartman1/ Linkedin.com/in/jasonhartmaninvestor/ Call our Investment Counselors at: 1-800-HARTMAN (US) or visit: https://www.jasonhartman.com/ Free Class:  Easily get up to $250,000 in funding for real estate, business or anything else: http://JasonHartman.com/Fund CYA Protect Your Assets, Save Taxes & Estate Planning: http://JasonHartman.com/Protect Get wholesale real estate deals for investment or build a great business – Free Course: https://www.jasonhartman.com/deals Special Offer from Ron LeGrand: https://JasonHartman.com/Ron Free Mini-Book on Pandemic Investing: https://www.PandemicInvesting.com

71: Predicting the Next Economic Recession & Revolutionizing Banking with Decentralized Finance | Campbell Harvey

Jason interviews Professor Campbell R. Harvey from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and the author of DeFi and the Future of Finance as they talk about the yield curve and Decentralized Finance. Harvey discusses the phenomenon of an inverted yield curve, which has predicted every recession for the last several decades. Harvey expressed his concern about the current inverted yield curve, which has been in place for 12 months, traditionally leading to a recession. Jason and Campbell also discuss the significance of an inverted yield curve and the potential of decentralized finance (defi) in the financial world. They identified problems with the current financial system and the possibility of solutions through DeFi, such as the need for an alternative to the SWIFT system for wire transfers and the ability to store and use value in transactions. With the advent of WEB 3.0 and the decentralization of monetary assets, DeFi is truly set to revolutionize the world in all economic aspects especially finance.     Follow Jason on TWITTER, INSTAGRAM & LINKEDIN Twitter.com/JasonHartmanROI Instagram.com/jasonhartman1/ Linkedin.com/in/jasonhartmaninvestor/ Call our Investment Counselors at: 1-800-HARTMAN (US) or visit: https://www.jasonhartman.com/ Free Class:  Easily get up to $250,000 in funding for real estate, business or anything else: http://JasonHartman.com/Fund CYA Protect Your Assets, Save Taxes & Estate Planning: http://JasonHartman.com/Protect Get wholesale real estate deals for investment or build a great business – Free Course: https://www.jasonhartman.com/deals Special Offer from Ron LeGrand: https://JasonHartman.com/Ron Free Mini-Book on Pandemic Investing: https://www.PandemicInvesting.com

70: Bitcoin Mania and the Future of Cryptocurrencies with Tama Churchouse

Bitcoin is in the news, and there's an amazing rush on cryptocurrencies and seemingly a new coin coming out every day. So it's becoming more obvious that we're in a bubble. But what's the real future of cryptocurrencies? Jason Hartman talks to Tama Churchouse, co-founder of Churchouse Publishing Limited and lead cryptocurrency analyst at Stansberry Churchouse Research, about what's going on in the world of cryptocurrency. Tama explains the differences between things like Bitcoin and Etherium, and the two look into what the government's future role in cryptocurrency will look like. Key Takeaways: [1:21] Why is there a sudden runup in cryptocurrencies? [6:00] The average transaction fee for Bitcoin is making it impossible to scale [10:06] There are currently over 1,500 different cryptocurrencies with a market cap of around $520 billion [12:01] There are currently protocols being written on the blockchain that you can buy into [14:35] An explanation of "CryptoKitties" and how it can be applied to other avenues [16:05] Etherium created a standardized token and how it's aiding in ICOs [18:13] Etherium doesn't scale and is expensive to use, creating some serious drawbacks [19:27] How Tama learned about cryptocurrency [26:08] Is decentralized decision making really a good idea or will it just bog everything down? [30:21] Cryptocurrency isn't really a great investment at the moment (perhaps it will become one), so what do we do with it today? [32:41] Bitcoin mania has people declaring it a storer of value, but it takes at LEAST a generation to be able to make such a claim [35:01] Will the government let cryptocurrencies go on (and can they even squash it if they try)? [38:10] Tama believes 2018 will bring a wave of regulations on to cryptocurrencies [40:59] How Tama would destroy Bitcoin if he really wanted to [43:53] One cryptocurrency you SHOULD NOT BUY Website: www.StansberryChurchhouse.com www.CoinMarketCap.com "The government doesn't like competition in anything, especially currency" "ICOs are, by far and away, Etherum's biggest proof of concept use case at the moment"     Follow Jason on TWITTER, INSTAGRAM & LINKEDIN Twitter.com/JasonHartmanROI Instagram.com/jasonhartman1/ Linkedin.com/in/jasonhartmaninvestor/ Call our Investment Counselors at: 1-800-HARTMAN (US) or visit: https://www.jasonhartman.com/ Free Class:  Easily get up to $250,000 in funding for real estate, business or anything else: http://JasonHartman.com/Fund CYA Protect Your Assets, Save Taxes & Estate Planning: http://JasonHartman.com/Protect Get wholesale real estate deals for investment or build a great business – Free Course: https://www.jasonhartman.com/deals Special Offer from Ron LeGrand: https://JasonHartman.com/Ron Free Mini-Book on Pandemic Investing: https://www.PandemicInvesting.com

69: Cryptocurrencies & Crowdfunding with David Drake

The worlds of cryptocurrencies and crowdfunding can work in harmony, but the world of the long term cryptocurrency lover and day traders may not be so harmonious. Jason Hartman talks with David Drake, founder of LDJ Capital, about what's going on in the cryptocurrency world, regulations on the ICO market, and how currencies like Bitcoin might be incorporated into international currency baskets. Key Takeaways: 3:53 What kind of regulations do ICOs have? 8:33 Cryptocurrencies are now seeing two worlds collide: the old guard of people who are buying and holding versus the hedge funds coming in to trade and make money quickly 12:32 G7 might put Bitcoin into their currency baskets because they're anti-inflationary 15:27 Can cryptocurrencies overcome any potential opposition from governments and central banks? 68: Metaverse Real Estate: Virtual Land Boom or Ponzi Scheme? Steve Hoffman

Is virtual real estate a real money making opportunity or are you better off going to Vegas to gamble? Jason Hartman welcomes Steve Hoffman back to the show today to hear about the latest developments regarding real estate, digital assets and speculation in the metaverse. As we see a lot of big brands such as Gucci jumping into the virtual space to sell digital assets, a lot of people are wondering, where do you buy land in the metaverse? Are these good investments? How is their worth actually determined? How are people actually earning money? Can you make money speculating on virtual land? Digital assets here to stay or just a passing fad? And what about cryptocurrencies? The amount of hype compared to the amount of utility that cryptocurrencies have delivered is completely disproportionate. 67: Joseph Wang: Mortgage Rates Will Go Even HIGHER!

Jason Hartman invites Joseph Wang aka The Fed Guy, to the show today. Who better to talk about the inner workings of the Federal Reserve than someone who actually worked there! Joseph Wang is a former senior trader on the open markets desk at the Federal Reserve and the author of Central Banking 101. Jason and Joseph tackle the biggest question on everyone’s mind: will mortgage rates go higher? How much higher can they go? Why did the Fed wait so long to start quantitative tightening and raise rates? Why didn’t they do it more gradually? Do you think Powell really thought inflation was transitory as he kept saying? It seems there was a political basis for him thinking that way, which filtered into policy and partially resulted in the huge inflation we're seeing right now. But what gives? If you don’t raise rates in order to avoid increased unemployment, then inflation will continue. Joseph Wang also gives his take on the Fed’s response during times of economic crisis such as the Great Recession and the recent pandemic. Was it right of the Fed to get involved and stimulate the economy, or should they have let the economy and markets work themselves out? Is the Fed part of a greater conspiracy? Is there a man behind the curtain pulling the strings? Joseph Wang tells all! 64: Hidden Monetary System Running The World - Jeff Snider, Eurodollar University

Jason Hartman interviews Jeff Snider, Chief Investment Strategist and Head of Global Research at Alhambra Investment Partners. Consumer prices and asset markets have created the illusion of a red hot economy, but according to Jeff, the bond market has been telling us what's been wrong since 2008. Jeff shares with us some incredible data that shakes up traditional thinking and gives us his insights on the Federal Reserve, interest rate hikes, monetary policy and money printing and the correlation between the yield curve and treasury markets. Jeff also gives an in depth explanation of the hidden monetary system running the world. Even though most people have probably never heard the term Eurodollar, it has undertaken the functions of the global reserve currency and it did so a very long time ago as an offshore currency market. The Eurodollar was developed on its own without government or individual private effort outside of every country's regulatory regime. 63: AMERICAN KLEPTOCRACY Greatest Money Laundering Scheme in History with Casey Michel

Jason Hartman invites Casey Michel, author and investigative journalist, to speak about his new book which uncovers how the US has created the greatest money laundering scheme in history. South Dakota has pioneered an entire industry of what they call anonymous trusts. South Dakota has taken this to a magnitude we've never seen by creating perpetual anonymity for these trusts. The information of those in the trust will never be shared with governments, with other jurisdictions, tax authorities, investigators, which is why we've seen both Americans and non Americans flocking to South Dakota. $900 billion is the top line estimate in South Dakota, but it's still a question of how many total assets are actually there, who those assets are connected to and what those assets are actually doing after they pass through all the anonymity that the state of South Dakota freely offers. Casey Michel’s book also talks about illicit foreign money purchasing steel mills, factories and manufacturing plants in places like Cleveland, Ohio, the Rust Belt and the Midwest. They're not revitalizing local communities and bringing jobs back, but rather using those assets to hold and hide funds, using them as part of a broader transnational money laundering scheme. And so what ends up happening is that not only do the jobs never come back, the folks who have the remaining jobs are just laid off, the factories begin falling apart and it’s clear they are never going to come back. These local communities in places such as West Virginia, Kentucky, Texas and Illinois are seeing their economic crown jewels go to complete rot because of this system of kleptocracy. Towards the end of the broader Cold War period, one could see a sudden surge in the creation of financial secrecy pools and broader economic structuring that incentivized the outflow of illicit suspect wealth from post communist states. These states are linked directly to rising oligarchies and dictatorships that are smothering local populations, looting national treasuries, and making sure bridges, roads, hospitals and schools are never built. And then beyond that, there is no broader free market economy that actually develops in those countries. http://www.caseymichel.com/ Watch the video HERE. 62: How the Fed is FAILING You - with Joseph Brown, Founder of Heresy Financial

What happens when the money supply is expanding more than ever, the government is more indebted than it's ever been and interest rates are at the lowest they've ever been? Find out with Jason Hartman and the founder of Heresy Financial, Joseph Brown as they discuss this and much more! We are seeing the largest monetary expansion in US history which has triggered some very high inflation numbers. The last two years have given the government an excuse to start monetizing a ton of government debt by printing money. This is a top down financing tool for redirecting purchasing power, instead of creating new purchasing power, and leads to a misallocation of resources due to the unlimited purchasing power at the top. This misallocation causes the destruction of wealth and will eventually lead to financial repression. And so, the question is not a matter of if the Federal Reserve will spark a crash, but the question is when and how much before they reverse course.
