3 Traps to Inner Work

Inner work is a beautiful tool for self-awareness but like anything, it has flip sides if taken to the extreme. Both the outer and the inner work are just as important. And if there is imbalance, it will be experienced in some way. This episode aims to shine light on 3 traps that can keep us stuck or lost on our journey through inner work: Maintaining a feeling of inadequacy and a belief of never being good enough. Nourishing a victim mentality and disempowering ourselves by giving our responsibilities to things and people outside of ourselves. An over focus on the INNER work at the expense of OUTER work. For example, becoming self-aware about our flaws yet still not implementing new habits and systems to change them. "Judgment creates disconnection where as compassion creates connection." "Remember that we always have agency and an ability for choice." ___ Today's episode was insightful for you? If you think it could help someone you love, share it with them. Thank you for being here! Red & Green Flags in Relationships

In this episode we chat about some of the red and green flags to honestly look (first and foremost) in ourselves and how these traits impact (positively and negatively) the people we are drawn to. In theory, every relationship could work. In reality, whether a relationship actually CAN work depends on many different factors. Also: just because a relationship COULD work, doesn't mean you have to work at it incessantly to the point of personal exhaustion, it becomes self-sabotage. We all deserve a love that is simple. Not easy, but simple. If you enjoyed today's episode, you can support this podcast by leaving a review or sharing it with a friend. Thank you for being here! The Difference between Growth & Healing

“Growth will happen when we get triggered. But what is triggering us and why?” "Healing happens when HOW we choose to RESPOND to the trigger is true to us." “Growth is what we get when we don’t get what we want” "Healing happens when we choose to share our truth"  "Growth needs to happen before healing can." My First Experience with Magic Mushrooms

My first experience with Psychedelics, especially psilocybin. A beautiful reminder that we all respond differently to things and cannot make generalities, our responses are highly impacted by the life experiences we've had and therefore, what we are carrying as we enter new realms of the mind. 6 Steps to Navigating Uncertainty

Fear of the future and fear of uncertainty is very common and is one I know a little too well. The years I've been spending in therapy and coaching have helped me see the beauty about uncertainty. The following steps have supported me in understanding the roots of this fear, how to cope with it and how to change the narrative around it so it no longer controls my present decisions. acknowledge and accept wherever you are at notice how you react to the situation look for support and someone you can talk to create space for presence write things down and observe choose a path, trust yourself when calm & regulated If you enjoyed today's episode, you can support this podcast by leaving a review or sharing it with a friend. Healing the Inner Child Through Reparenting Ourselves

The Inner Child is the part of us that is feeling remnants of our past. It's our "wounded self", the part of us that is still holding emotions from our childhood and often projecting it onto the world.  The other part is our authentic self, the part of us that is aware and real in this moment. The idea is not to separate ourselves into two pieces, they're both part of us. The intention is to become aware of our inner child self and find ways on how to acknowledge, support and love our more reactive side. This allows us to create more space for our aware self. The most our aware self loves and supports the inner child, the stronger and more authentic we become. Both hold lots of wisdom and it's about becoming one without suppressing or repressing one. The Art of Saying "No" & Why It's so Important

How learning to say no has helped me with anxiety and feeling overwhelmed. Why it's so important to define your priorities and personal limits when it comes to taking a decision. I read Essentialism this Winter and it was a real eye opener for me. I learnt that saying no is not necessarily negative, if anything, it's an amazing opportunity we have.  In this episode I talk about why we say yes in the first place and the questions we should ask ourselves before accepting an invitation, a deal, an opportunity. The good and bad reasons why we say yes by default. I share the importance of saying no and why we need to do it more often in order to preserve ourselves and be fulfilled. I break the stigma and explain why it's a good thing to refuse sometimes and offer tools on how to decline offers in a polite and respectful way. - find me here - instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chloe.kian/ english channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/ChloeKian french channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/ChloeKianFR blog: https://www.chloekian.com/

Eco-Friendly Travel: Tips & Thoughts

I've been shamed of in the past for flying and although I agree that air travel does in fact has a consequent environmental impact, it does not define someone's values towards sustainability. Avoiding air transportation is one way to live more sustainably, but it is not the only one. I deeply believe in living a conscious life that makes us happy and fulfilled.  In this episode I share some ideas to make your trip more eco-friendly as a whole: From the time you leave home until coming back. This includes transportation, but also, your accommodation, the food you eat while abroad, the activities you take part in and the ones you should avoid. There are so many ways to travel and so many places to stay at, I hope this episode brings a bit of light on how we can conciliate our sustainable values with visiting new countries & areas.
