058 - Emigrating to New Zealand. 3 Distressing (& Often Debilitating) Fears
Emigrating to New Zealand is no small feat. You will face major challenges such as getting a job, selling your house, packing your things, arranging visas, and booking flights.
But it doesn't end there.
Just when you think you have all your ducks lined up in a row, when you have shown the kids every glossy picture of New Zealand mountains and beaches and ice cream, it will hit you. Like a ton of bricks.
Uncertainty. Doubt. Fear.
These feelings of fear are completely normal (and very, very common). But that doesn't make them any less frightening.
In this week's episode, we wanted to talk about those three fears and try to shed light from the other side as we go through one of the very fears we worried about.

001- Welcome to the NZ Ahead Podcast. Is New Zealand For You??
Welcome! This is the very first episode of NZ Ahead, the one-stop podcast for moving to and living in New Zealand.
We are your hosts, Liz and Brian, a husband and wife who, along with our two children (Sonny and Tessa), moved to New Zealand from England in 2009.
We have travelled all over New Zealand but our home is in Taranaki, on the West Coast of the North Island. We live on top of a hill under a dormant volcano. We like to keep life interesting. Our favourite thing in the world (apart from red wine which we also can't get enough of) is to share everything we can about moving to New Zealand. So that we can help others who are thinking of making this wonderful country their home.
When Brian and I made the big move over a decade ago we found it very difficult to find real answers to the questions and concerns we had about New Zealand. And let's face it, there are plenty of them. Concerns I mean. Taking your family to the other side of the world is no walk
