He was born in Karachi in July 1988 and is a member of a scholarly family in the Indo-Pak region. His grandfathers, Mawlana Ishaq Alvi (Deoband) and Allama Muhammad Tahseen (Amroha), are both considered great academics of the Deobandi School of thought. Ilyas is inspired by the famous Islamic scholar Javed Ahmed Ghamidi. The Writer and Director of Joyland Saim Saadiq joins Mooroo and Daniyal Raheal for a conversation on Film-making and screenplay writing. Saim Sadiq is a Pakistani screenwriter and director who won the Jury Prize of the Un Certain Regard section at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival for directing the drama film Joyland, the first Pakistani film to be selected in Cannes. Joyland also won the Queer Palm award during its world premiere at Cannes. Sadiq grew up in what he describes as a "middle-class, conservative family" in Rawalpindi. He attended St Mary's Academy in Lalazar, Rawalpindi. He graduated with a BSc with honors in anthropology from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in 2014. He obtained his MFA in Screenwriting and Directing from the Columbia University School of the Arts in 2019.

Muhammad Ali known as Ali Sadpara[1] (born February 2, 1976; missing since 5 February 2021)[2] is a Pakistani mountaineer. He was part of the team that successfully achieved the first ever winter summit on Nanga Parbat in 2016.[3] Both his teammates, Alex Txikon and Simone Moro, have gone on record stating that they could not have done it without Sadpara's brilliance. He had successfully climbed four eight-thousanders in a calendar year and a total of eight in his career.[4] Sadpara and his 21-year-old son Sajid Sadpara, who had climbed K2 in 2019, teamed up with Icelandic mountaineer John Snorri Sigurjónsson[5] and Chilean mountaineer Juan Pablo Mohr Prieto[6] for a joint K2 ascent, leaving the highest camp on the evening of February 4, 2021. Sajid had to descend due to a technical issue, leaving the others at the Bottleneck, close to the summit. His father, Snorri, and Mohr kept climbing up, but they didn't come back by night as planned. A rescue mission with two army helicopters was organized on February 6. The three climbers are still missing.[7]

Arieb Azhar (born 1972) is a Pakistani musician. He is sufi and folk singer.[1] [2] [3] [4] He is best known for Husn-e-Haqiqi in Coke Studio.[5] [6] He writes in Dawn on culture and society.[7] He has spent time in Croatia and returned to Pakistan in 2004.[8] His first album, Wajj, released in 2006, consisted of eight tracks, in which he vocalized the classical lyrics of Khawaja Ghulam Farid, Bulleh Shah, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh, and even the contemporary lyrics of Sarmad Sehbai. He is second son of Nasreen and Aslam Azhar who is considered the "father of Pakistan Television".[9]

Roque Martin D’Mello teaches Physics at Cedar College. Having taught Physics at a number of schools, including Southshore School, Nixor College and St. Patricks High School, he has acquired a profusion of experience on the subject. Faiza Saleem is a lawyer turned comedian based in Karachi. She was the first female social media entertainer to have pursued stand-up comedy in Pakistan and also led and trained the subcontinent's first all-female comedy troupe, The Khawatoons.[1] Faiza has been active on television[2][3] and made her film debut with the comedy film Parchi.

Salman Parekh runs a Youtube Channel Mansals. Muzammil is a digital media guy, with fun thoughts. He used to run a facebook page called House of Lolz. 

Kamal Khan is a film director, he recently directed the film Lal Kabootar. His is also the director of a Music Video for the song by DA Method called This Desert Journey, which in my opinion is one of the finest Music Videos to have come out of Pakistan.
