Episode 4 - Of Maids & Squatters: Are We Paranoid Enough? (ft. Toni Sanni)

Child abuse is rampant in every country in the world. You would think that the reason for this is because parents are being excessively careless by leaving their children in the hands of strangers but statistics show us that 90% of abuse generally comes from family and people within our closest circles. Verbal, emotional, physical and even sexual abuse can have long-lasting consequences for children. As parents and caregivers, it's our duty to be sensitive both naturally and spiritually to the needs of our children. Children need protection.  In this conversation, our guest, Toni Sanni (Lady T) shares with us why children need protection, a common sense approach to accommodating guests at home, the need for sex education for our children, and how to overcome negative cultural expectations that deprive children of being protected. As believers, we must treat our children with as much care as our Heavenly Father treats us.  Grab a snack and listen! It's a long, but necessary conversation.  Bonus: Even better if you listen to it with your spouse. Meanwhile, check out Lady T's fashion line at:   --- Send in a voice message:

Episode 3 - Children With Special Needs (ft. Ruth Kehinde)

No parent imagines that their child would be born with a special need. But children with special needs exist and they need as much love, faith and care as the next child. As believers, how should we think about special needs? How should we approach these children? Where does the supernatural come in? And importantly, how do we teach them the Gospel? In this conversation with Specialist Teacher and Assessor for Special Educational Needs, Ruth Kehinde, we learn how to approach caring for children with special needs. She shares a truckload of encouragement, faith and strength to every caregiver and offers sound practical advice on how to teach these children the gospel. Got questions or enquiries? Episode 2 - Should Every Christian Be A Parent? (ft. The Kesenas)

"Intentional Childlessness" has become a popular idea; where couples actively choose to remain childless. What perspective and considerations should a Christian have towards such a topic? Amidst issues on climate change, maternal health, disability and prevalent evil in the world, should every Christian still choose to have children? Does the word of God give us any insights into God's mind on the topic? It's a tough topic but it's expertly handled by our guests, Joshua & Opeyemi Kesena, seasoned Christian relationship and marriage counsellors.  They are also Christian parents to two lovely girls.  Other resources: The Kesena's YouTube Channel: The Kesena's Instagram: Don't forget to share with a friend!  --- Send in a voice message:

If there's a generation that needs urgent training on how to talk to kids about gender and sexuality, it's this current generation of new parents. The concept of gender has become so convoluted that even adults are confused. How much more children?  The Bible lets us know that we're created in the image of God and we teach kids that. But what happens when they report a different feeling? How do Christian parents, aunties, uncles or caretakers properly navigate this seemingly sensitive topic. Rather than being ignorant, why not allow us take you through tips to help you properly love and raise your child, God's way?  Featuring Professional Nanny and Geneticist, Azikisoko Yaila, this episode sheds light on how to discuss the topic with children of different age categories.  Follow Azikisoko on Instagram: Also, we highly recommend this book (God Made Boys and Girls: Understanding the Gift of Gender by Marty Machowski) for your 3-10 year old: --- Send in a voice message:
