Thirty years ago, on a rainy night in Rotterdam, Manchester United took on Barcelona in the European Cup Winners' Cup final. Having won the FA Cup twelve months earlier, United flew the flag for English clubs in their first season back in European competition after a five-year absence. Sir Alex Ferguson's side was starting to come together and form the basis of the trophy-winning machine they would soon become. Journalist Andy Mitten joins Brian to mark the anniversary of that famous victory, sharing their on-field and off-field memories of the road to Rotterdam and the momentous match against the Catalan giants.
