Ep34 - Happy Thanksgiving

Lawhead's Court says Happy Thanksgiving by remenising with The Network Studios' voice over & engineer Rena Marie Villano on turkey day traditions that include the history of football and family on episode #34.   We talk Thanksgiving dinners that only Mom's can make and what our favorite side dishes are at the table. Rena provides the Cursed in Cleveland portion by remebering the life of Browns Hall Of Famer Mike McCormack, which eventually gets me riled up about Jim Brown and I argue with nobody why he's the greatest of all time.  Rena catches my midwestern accent during a rant which prompts my  "Chicago" voice impression of the movie The Fugitive. So stuff yourself on another episode of Lawhead's Court and go to iTunes and rate and review the show. Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving day everybody.

Ep33 - Bill Burr

Lawhead's Court welcomes one of the all time greats in comedy Bill Burr  to episode #33.  From multiple appearances on "The Late show with David Letterman", to a reoccurring  role on AMC's "Breaking Bad",  as well as recently being featured in "Rolling Stone" magazine and appearing in a movie with Kevin Costner, Bill is a true friend and fellow sports lover that has virtually done it all. Bill and I debate Boston and Cleveland sports miseries and who's had it worse. We talk about our Rose Bowl excursions, what to eat while tailgating as well as attending other great sporting events with each other over the years. Bill clears up the misconceptions and growing legends of the infamous night in Philly and we tell hilarious tales of the late great Patrice O'Neal.  The Lawhead Life relives the time Bill and I were on the set of Anchorman 2 in Atlanta and even how he's still able to be starstruck today. As our friendship hits 10 years that began in Cleveland on New Years, it still lasts today and we will spend it together again on stage at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles on December 31st. Followed by another Rose Bowl game. So sit back and enjoy the one and only Bill Burr.

So sit back and come along for the nostalgia of what makes the game of sport more dramatic than just what we see.  Its also what we hear that keeps the memory etched in the back of our minds.
