About
Our Mission is to Help People Dream, Plan and Live Their Best Lives. We created 1Life Fully Lived because we meet far too many discouraged people who are struggling and lack a sense of direction in their lives. People who have lost sight of the beauty and power of life lived with purpose. People who are buried in consumerism and debt, and frankly don’t know where to turn or what to do. We believe in order to be truly fulfilled, happy and healthy, people must learn to tap into their dreams again, and then plan for the life they want to live, hence our 1Life Fully Lived slogan, “Dream it! Plan it! Live it!” Our solution is a comprehensive self-development program for those who need it most. With inspiration, passion and engagement our 501(c)3 non-profit provides education and support to help people live the life they choose with purpose and intention while developing and maintaining financial independence. Our approach employs three strategies that creates synergy within a unique community. First, our 1Life Mastery program teaches people how to reconnect with their dreams, how to create a game plan to make their dreams reality, how to increase their income and live within their means, and how to be productive, proficient and accountable. Second, our 1Life Mastermind program brings people together for monthly webinars on core topics followed by group brainstorming and accountability sessions facilitated by a trusted 1Life leader. Third, we recognize that many people may need to develop additional streams of income to achieve self-sufficiency. Our 1Life Entrepreneurial program is under development, and will help people identify potentially successful business ideas, and provides resources and support to help them launch and grow their enterprises. The heart of our program lies where these areas overlap. Our 1Life Community is a pulsing, vibrant population of “life minded” people working together around the world to brainstorm life ideas and solutions, hold each other accountable, and share personal experiences while teaching and encouraging others to do the same. This community is the life blood of 1Life! Together we are fostering positive and lasting change, and teaching others how to replicate the model in their own communities. It is our goal to provide all our services at little or no cost. We want to embrace the “Pay It Forward” concept by encouraging those we help, help others in return. We believe life is a two way street!

Win At Home First, Then Rise & Go with Cory Carlson

Are you winning at home? Did you know that you could? Do you fold under the pressure of life or do you rise to the occasion and thrive under pressure? As an entrepreneur, former executive, husband, and father of three, Cory Carlson understands the pressures working parents face. He is passionate about helping business leaders win at work and at home. Cory has a Civil Engineer degree from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Rockhurst University. Twenty years in corporate America gave Cory amazing opportunities as he worked his way up to the executive level. But he also saw brokenness: work without purpose, burnout, lack of focus, strained marriages, and absentee parents. Business leaders especially were often not living life to the fullest. When Cory discovered coaching, it helped him become a better leader, husband, and father. So he left his corporate career to help other leaders win at work and at home. Cory does this through executive coaching, speaking, and writing. His first book was published in June 2019 titled, Win at Home First, and is an inspirational guide for work-life balance.  His book was listed in FORBES as ‘7 Books Everyone On Your Team Should Read’. Cory just released his second book, Rise and Go. This book is a resource to help leaders get back up quicker after getting knocked down by the challenges of leadership and life. He hosts the leadership podcast, Win at Home First, a Top 1.5% global podcast per ListenNotes. Follow Cory on social media (@carlsoncory) and www.corymcarlson.com. Creating memorable moments at home with Kathryn Richardson

Kathryn Richardson is the founder of YearCheer, a holiday subscription box that each month contains the items that help busy families connect while decorating for and celebrating holidays. She calls it every mom’s secret weapon for creating holiday magic. Katie created YearCheer as a solution to help women like her – a corporate retail executive and mom of four kids under 10 – eliminate “mom guilt” and create magical memories with their families, all without the time or mental energy of planning those moments. The idea came after her kids asked, “What are we doing to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?” and she realized she had nothing in the house and it was too late to run to any stores.   Each YearCheer assortment is holiday-specific, including decor items such as balloons, banners and tabletop items; a children’s book; and additional crafts, activities, or games. Moms have told Katie that the fun “lasts for weeks.” Launched December 2019, YearCheer has shipped to 45 states nationwide, receiving five-star reviews from its customers, such as, “YearCheer boxes allow me to make the holidays special for my family without a lot of time or emotional energy.  Highly recommend.” YearCheer has been featured on the television show Las Vegas Now, NBC10 News Boston, “The Product Boss” podcast, and many blogs.  After graduating from Northwestern University, Katie spent 20 years in the retail world managing teams of up to 175 people and businesses worth up to $900 million for top brands such as Target, Old Navy, GapKids and Under Armour.  Katie lives with her husband and four children in Maryland.

How to Thrive as a Small Business with Nigel Guisinger

Nigel Guisinger is passionate about small businesses. Having purchased, started, and saved businesses in multiple industries, Guisinger believes that the best way for real long-term wealth growth comes from creating businesses and jobs that support the local economy. Guisinger paid for his degrees from Oregon State University by working construction for a local excavation company. This lead to a career in the equipment rental industry where he worked with thousands of businesses to solve their project needs. This included saving his largest customer by purchasing a share of the company when they were struck by the downturn of 2008-2009. The investment in the glass company saved over 100 jobs. In 2013 after seeing his town affected by the downturn Guisinger heard countless people say “somebody needs to do something” one too many times. With that Guisinger purchased a small appliance store and grew it from 350k annual sales to over $9m annual volume in a four-year period. At the same time, he started a home building company, a property holding company, a development company and has now acquired 6 more appliance stores. Guisinger has also done multiple apartment rehab projects out of state. Guisinger has purchased via SBA loans, conventional financing, creative financing, private lending, owner carried finance, and buying a business via an equipment loan.
