'Few Good Things' Album Review & Because Benny The Butcher Got High
This weeks episode of Down to the Beat is kicked off with a conversation about how much money is a reasonable amount to spend on a paper towel holder for your home after an off camera conversation about furniture trickles into the recording. Down to the Beat welcomes on Ottawa artist, City Fidelia. Fidelia is a mogul in the Hip-Hop industry and has shown it through his discography and his approach on growing the music culture in his home city of Ottawa.
He now has his own studios called 'House of Ensemble' in downtown Ottawa, where we are recording the interview, and his goal is to bring in up-comers in the Ottawa scene and use Ensemble as a movement to unite individuals through forms of art.
He has toured worldwide, worked with artists like Malik Yusef of Kanye's 'G.O.O.D Music, Eva Shaw, and Timbaland just to name a few. He shares what those experiences have done for him in terms of his creative approach and hints at whats to come.
