Self-Compassion: A Great Tool for When the Others Don't "Work"
Is self-compassion a tool you've heard lots about but have sort of always shrugged your shoulders at? Yeah, I used to, too! But self-compassion is one of the tools that helped me the most in creating a healthy relationship with anxiety, and with myself. And Kimberley Quinlan also had this similar experience.Kimberley is an anxiety and OCD therapist and specialist. And in this conversation, she dives into the power of self-compassion and she shares some exercises for how to start practicing it. And don't think this is just an episode where she shares exercises for how to speak more kindly to yourself, she also shares that practicing self-compassion is hugely physical, too!The doors to Panic to Peace are OPEN! Trying to manage anxiety might be a big reason why you're still struggling
I thought for YEARS that the goal was to learn how to manage anxiety. So naturally, I tried everything to manage it! All the coping skills, all the mindfulness techniques, literally anything that promised anxiety relief. And then 10 years ago, I walked into a psychiatrist's office to talk about going on medication because I was at one of the lowest points in my recovery journey, and she said to me, "F*** managing anxiety! You don't have to learn to manage anxiety."And this, was one of the most pivotal points of my recovery journey, and of my life!I'M OPENING THE DOORS TO PANIC TO PEACE FOR A SMALL GROUP IN MAY! Why You Might Be Afraid to Recover From Anxiety, Panic, and Agoraphobia
You really want to recover, right? But there also might be a little (or big) part of you that's actually scared to recover. Whether it's because...Recovering means you're actually going to have to do the things that scare you and the feelings are so scary. You have no idea who you are without anxiety! Maybe because it's been a part of your life for so long.Although it feels uncomfortable, it feels safer to stay stuck where you are and not let go of control or take any "risks."You're scared to actually recover but then fall back even harder. If you're recovered, people will actually expect you to do things now and you'll no longer have an excuse. These are all things I'm diving into in this episode! Because rather than continuing to feel scared to recover, I want you to feel excited to recover! I want you to start seeing and believing that there are so many amazing opportunities for you ahead, recovery included!<

From Overcoming Panic & Agoraphobia, to Back to Struggling & Overcoming It Again With Kathryn
Kathryn went from being bubbly, carefree, and a world traveler, to struggling to even take a shower in her own home. Then after leaving a toxic marriage and moving back to the town she grew up in, everything went back to "normal." She was experiencing life again, without the symptoms, panic, and fear. And she thought... I'll never struggle with that again! But then a year and a half later, she had a panic attack while driving and she quickly found herself back to creating "safe zones" and ultimately not leaving her house. Shortly after, Kathryn reached out to me, feeling lots of shame, and said that she needed some help. And through working together, Kathryn started taking some healthy steps and showing herself that the Kathryn she wanted to get back to, wasn't so far from where she was.OVERCOMING DRIVING ANXIETY MASTERCLASS: https://www.ahealthypush.com/drivinganxietyOVERCOMING THE SYMPTOMS & PANIC ATTACKS MASTERCLASS: https://www.ahealthypush.com/s

In this episode, I'm talking about something that I hid from everyone for years - toilet anxiety! While toilet anxiety can mean a few different things, I’m specifically talking about the fear of being too far from a toilet, aka not being able to make it to a bathroom in time. And for some this looks like the fear of not being able to make it to a bathroom in time and peeing their pants, while for others it’s the fear of pooping their pants, or it’s a combination of both! For me, it was mostly the fear of pooping my pants.I know that there are lots of people who struggle with toilet anxiety, and I know how absolutely debilitating this fear is, so my hope is that my story and these 5 tips help you immensely!GET 10 TIPS THAT WILL MAKE YOUR RECOVERY JOURNEY EASIER: https://view.flodesk.com/pages/632c65ada316945cf167c59cWORK WITH ME ONE-ON-ONE: https://www.ahealthypush.com/1-1-coachingA HEALTHY PUSH INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/ahealthypush/<

And if you would have told me years ago that I would be talking to you about how becoming a mom has positively impacted my relationship with anxiety in so many ways, I would have laughed out loud. And quite honestly, all of this is so crazy because a big part of me was convinced for a long time that I’d never be a mom, partly because of my struggles with anxiety, panic disorder, and agoraphobia. But becoming a mom has truly only strengthened my healthy relationship with anxiety. It has emphasized so many things that I learned and practiced throughout my recovery, and it has also reinforced that it's absolutely possible to live a VERY full life without anxiety, panic, and fear getting in the way!SIGN UP FOR MY FREE, LIVE CLASS ON OVERCOMING DRIVING ANXIETY: <a href="https://event.webinarjam.com/register/17/lg65ltk" rel="noopener noreferre

And then Jamie was diagnosed with Lyme disease and a handful of autoimmune conditions. After being diagnosed, Jamie spent years studying and connecting the dots of her body's breakdown to learn what she needed to build it back up.
