96. Setting 3 World Records and Running 114 Miles in 24 Hours On a Manual Treadmill with Don Reichelt
Don Reichelt is a trail and ultra runner who has set multiple world records and finished some of the world's most challenging ultra-endurance events. Most recently, he broke 3 separate world records in 24 hours: furthest distance run on a manual treadmill in 12 hours, running 65.63 miles, fastest time to 100 miles on a manual treadmill, in 19:52:24, and furthest distance run on a manual treadmill in 24 hours, running 114.24 miles. He has countless ultra marathon finishes and podiums with highlights including a 100-mile trail best of 13:16 (7:58 per mile), and a 2018 podium finish at the Badwater 135. His A race for 2023 is Cocodona 250: 250 miles from just outside of Phoenix to Flagstaff, AZ. Don is also a running coach for athletes of all distances and goals. In this episode, Don shares how he went from getting cut from his high school cross-country team to now sponsored athlete and one of the top ultra-endurance athletes on the planet. Don emphasizes that we ALL have the power to live a life without limits, but it takes commitment, discipline, and consistency day after day in order to see and feel the progress. 75. How to Thrive When Life Doesn't Go According to Plan with Sam Kuhnert
Sam Kuhnert is a Best-Selling Author, Motivational Speaker, and Founder and Executive Director of NubAbility Athletics Foundation. Sam was born with one hand, but that has never stopped him from embracing God’s purpose for him. He overcame doubt, setbacks, negativity, and countless other obstacles to achieve his dream of playing college baseball. Owning his difference made all the difference in his ability to move forward with confidence in sports, even after many said he’d never play outside of rec level. He also faced a life-threatening illness and a bad injury that ended his college career before graduation.
At only 17 years old, Sam had a vision from God to create sports camps for kids like him. Episode 53 - Joe Rinaldi is a husband, friend, physical therapist, performance coach, inspirational writer and motivational speaker based out of Philadelphia, PA. While Joe wears many hats, he views himself first and foremost as a human being who aspires to inspire others and leave every place better than he found it. Joe was born with a genetic eye condition called Best Disease which causes a progressive loss of central eyesight. While it wasn’t always the case, Joe chooses to view his struggle as an immense source of strength and he hopes to help others develop the same perspective through his content, stories and actions. Joe is the founder and CEO of Project Endure, LLC which is an organization focused on helping others to do hard things in pursuit of building resilience, practicing persistence and becoming better versions of themselves.

Fast and Easy Fat Loss Tips and Running a Personal Training and Nutrition Coaching Business from an RV with Jonah Mitchell and Hannah Montoya
Episode 52 - Jonah Mitchell and Hannah Montoya are a husband and wife duo who specialize in helping people lose fat healthily and sustainably without sacrificing the foods they love. Jonah is a former college football player, Certified Personal Trainer, and Nutrition Coach. His wife Hannah handles content creation, marketing and advertising, finance, and other business entities. They currently run their business remotely as they are traveling around the country and living in an RV. Together they also host the “Fat Loss is Easy” Podcast and provide incredible value in their Facebook group “Fast and Easy Fat Loss Tips.”
In this episode, Jonah and Hannah share the reason why they are so passionate about helping people lose fat and enhance their lives and how failed attempts at fat loss themselves led them to this niche. We also discuss the struggles as well as the rewards that come from running a service-based business and some of the key things to take into account when working with clients. Jonah and Hannah share some of the struggles they have faced while running a business together and how they have overcome and grown from these dilemmas.
Imposter syndrome is something many tend to feel, especially when marketing and advertising for a business on social media. These two share what they believe to be effective strategies to break free from this feeling as well as what you should be focusing on as an entrepreneur to achieve and sustain growth. I admire these two for the work they do and the mindset they live with. Two of my favorite quotes from them in this conversation are: “be happy for what you have, but never be satisfied,” and “if you’re lacking ambition, maybe you’re lacking vision.”

Running a 50-Mile Ultramarathon and Breaking Mental and Physical Barriers with Matt Choi
Episode 51 - Matt Choi is a former D1 football player from Monmouth University and is currently a personal trainer in the DMV area, specifically in Maryland, where he helps athletes and the general population reach their health and wellness goals. He is also the host of The Athlete's Marathon Podcast where he interviews former athletes that have transitioned out of their sport and into entrepreneurship or their careers. Matt enjoys challenging himself mentally and physically through various types of workouts and challenges that may seem a bit crazy. Most notably, he has recently completed a 50-mile ultramarathon in Utah and is currently training for a 100-mile ultra this September.
Matt shares how finding discomfort and then pushing through it has transformed his life pushes him to be the best version of himself everyday so that he can inspire others to break their own perceived limitations. He also shares his definition of ambition and how he uses it in his daily life.
