96. Setting 3 World Records and Running 114 Miles in 24 Hours On a Manual Treadmill with Don Reichelt

Don Reichelt is a trail and ultra runner who has set multiple world records and finished some of the world's most challenging ultra-endurance events. Most recently, he broke 3 separate world records in 24 hours: furthest distance run on a manual treadmill in 12 hours, running 65.63 miles, fastest time to 100 miles on a manual treadmill, in 19:52:24, and furthest distance run on a manual treadmill in 24 hours, running 114.24 miles. He has countless ultra marathon finishes and podiums with highlights including a 100-mile trail best of 13:16 (7:58 per mile), and a 2018 podium finish at the Badwater 135. His A race for 2023 is Cocodona 250: 250 miles from just outside of Phoenix to Flagstaff, AZ. Don is also a running coach for athletes of all distances and goals. They currently run their business remotely as they are traveling around the country and living in an RV. Together they also host the “Fat Loss is Easy” Podcast and provide incredible value in their Facebook group “Fast and Easy Fat Loss Tips.” In this episode, Jonah and Hannah share the reason why they are so passionate about helping people lose fat and enhance their lives and how failed attempts at fat loss themselves led them to this niche. We also discuss the struggles as well as the rewards that come from running a service-based business and some of the key things to take into account when working with clients. Running a 50-Mile Ultramarathon and Breaking Mental and Physical Barriers with Matt Choi

Episode 51 - Matt Choi is a former D1 football player from Monmouth University and is currently a personal trainer in the DMV area, specifically in Maryland, where he helps athletes and the general population reach their health and wellness goals. He is also the host of The Athlete's Marathon Podcast where he interviews former athletes that have transitioned out of their sport and into entrepreneurship or their careers. Matt enjoys challenging himself mentally and physically through various types of workouts and challenges that may seem a bit crazy. Most notably, he has recently completed a 50-mile ultramarathon in Utah and is currently training for a 100-mile ultra this September. Matt shares how finding discomfort and then pushing through it has transformed his life pushes him to be the best version of himself everyday so that he can inspire others to break their own perceived limitations.
