The Vision Project is currently a one man show lead by Jim Somers. Hailing from the Chicago northwest suburbs, Jim has been involved in music his entire life and active in the electronic scene for the last 16 years in and around Chicago. He worked most recently with friend and partner in crime Matt Nitz (Cytomorph) under the pseudonym Paradigm Minds and had a track released on Nookie's drum 'n bass label, Strictly Digital. Moving into other genres, Jim has begun focusing on The Vision Project and producing drum 'n bass, house, and nu-jazz tracks as well as remixing some tracks from fellow Chicago musician Waltson and Pittsburgh based artist Stereo Hideout. Jim released 4 tracks on local label, Trenchant Dubs in the fall of 2013 under the Vision Project name with distribution in all major online digital stores. Stay tuned for more....
