The Thermoshredders is the music project of two people, Andreas Maninakis and Minas Georgopoulos. They both met in 2005 while studying Production management and engineering at the Technical University of Crete which is located in Chania, GreeceWhile they enjoyed jamming with their friends they started recording sessions of their own songs at Andreas’ home studio and decided to join forces and ideas. Minas is playing the guitar and doing the vocals, while Andreas plays the bass and does the programming. Their friends also participate very often by lending ideas, comments and equipment, while recording additional instruments such as percussion and extra vocals. They mess around with a variety of musical genres such-as guitar oriented rock music, trip-hop and chillout music and always enjoy mixing electronic parts with acoustic and electric elements.
