Acadia
Based on the short stories "At the 'Cadian Ball" and "The Storm" by Kate Chopin. " At the 'Cadian Ball" is a sober account of unrequited love in the face of bland expectations. But my song only takes you right up to the beginning of its sequel "The Storm" which is a really surprisingly mature understanding of love. It's kinda juicy, sure, but the fact that it was written by a woman in the late 1800s with eyes wide open to what it means to be human and her pen brave enough to capture it is something very inspiring to me.
Gingham
Inspired by characters from the short story "Winter Dreams" by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This song is maybe more pretentious than it sounds, but you be the judge.
Brick
Brick, like drugs. And you better get that out there and put it to work because that's the game were playing whether you like it or not. But, like, try to have fun with it.
Sobre Shibuya Terminal
An indie rock project that found its footing in Tokyo back in 2014 went quite as members and the world changed. Then a new distortion pedal came along and brought with the inescapable temptation to play loud guitars at fast tempos, and the long dormant project flared back up.
