About Maia Miller-Lewis
Maia Miller-Lewis is a singer-songwriter based between Buxton, Derbyshire and Bristol. Being raised on a mix of Miles Davis, The Beatles, Coldplay and Kylie, she has been writing music since the age of fourteen. Originally composing on the piano, over the past few years, Maia has taught herself how to use Logic Pro which she now works with to producer her music. Drawing from an eclectic mix of musical influences, Maia’s sound lies somewhere between Kate Bush and Florence and the machine.Achieving success with BBC Introducing, her music has been played on local radio. Chewing Gum, achieved a national airplay on Tom Robinson’s 6Music BBC Introducing playlist. In 2018, she was also lucky enough to perform my song, Carry on Anyway, written for International Women’s Day live on The Guilty Feminist Podcast’s ‘The Power of Music Episode’. Her song, In the End will be featured on Radio 4’s Loose Ends programme, broadcast on the 4th April 2020.
