[ITA]Il progetto Clovercave nasce nel Gennaio 2008 a Milano, in seguito all'ennesimo cambio di formazione dei OnceTime (http://www.myspace.com/oncetime): dei membri originali ormai sopravvivono solo il veterano bassista e fondatore Claudio (aka Gaggio) e il più recente e fortunato acquisto Enzino, eclettico chitarrista. La band, da poco rinnovata dalla potente voce di Ale (aka Vik) e completata dall’abile tocco del batterista Andrea (aka Brooska), decide quindi di voltare definitivamente pagina. Nuovo nome, nuovo sito, nuove azzardate contaminazioni musicali… ma la stessa anima Rock n' Roll e la stessa propensione a fondere in un’unica identità le molteplici attitudini e i background musicali dei componenti del gruppo. Dopo aver consolidato il loro rapporto in numerosi concerti live e riscontrato un caloroso consenso da parte del pubblico, i quattro decidono che è il momento giusto per incidere. A Giugno 2008, presso il Silver Lining Studio di Milano, comincia la produzione del primo demo dei Clovercave, le cui prime due tracce inedite sono Part Of Me e Solace Light. Il demo viene presto esteso con le registrazioni autoprodotte di tre ulteriori tracce inedite: le versioni acustiche di Follow e Daffodils, originalmente partorite in versione elettrica, e la versione live di Innerself. Ad oggi altro nuovo materiale è stato completato e attualmente proposto in concerto, ed è in attesa di essere immortalato nella prossima sessione di registrazione che completerà il primo album LP dei Clovercave. Il resto della storia si sta scrivendo da sola e l’ascolterete sotto i palchi direttamente dai nostri strumenti… [ENG] Clovercave project was born in January 2008 in Milan (Italy), as a result of the last change of OnceTime line-up (http://www.myspace.com/oncetime): the only original members are Claudio (aka Gaggio), the founding father and bass player, and the recently signed-up Enzino, eclectic guitar player. The band decides to turn over a new leaf, once and for all, with the powerful voice of Ale (aka Vik) and the skillful touch of the drummer Andrea (aka Brooska). A new name, a new website and new daring musical contaminations… but the same Rock n' Roll soul and the same attitude for blending four different styles and musical backgrounds into the unique band’s identity. The Clovercave crew realizes that it’s the right time to record after having consolidated their relationship during several live concerts and having experienced the warm public response. The Clovercave’s first demo production begins in June 2008, at Silver Lining Studio in Milan,: the first two inedited tracks are Part Of Me and Solace Light. Two further inedited autoproduced recordings expand soon the demo: the acoustic versions of Follow and Daffodils, originally arised on electric instruments, and the live version of Innerself. Today new more songs have been completed and currently played in live concert; then these songs are expected to be recorded in the next recording session that will complete the Clovercave first LP album.
