Making business easy breezy
One of my core Chillpreneur principles for life and business is…
"There's always an easier way to make money."
Do you believe that? What does that idea bring up for you?
We're looking closer at this on today's podcast, and I share how to make business easy breezy.
If you ever feel like you're swimming against the current in your business, it's time to embrace this philosophy that could change everything: there's always an easier way.

Life-changing power of affirmations
If you don't set intentions for where you're going, you often get very confused results from the Universe.
Over the past year, there've been times when I've felt I didn't have any big goals in my life.
Part of that was "Lucky B problems" - I'd achieved many things on my dream board and business was going well, but I also didn't know what I wanted next.
And when this happens, you'll find things get wishy-washy, and it's easy to drift or get distracted.
So today, we're talking about the power of daily affirmations to change your life and business.

Ask Me Anything: Increasing your prices
Raising your prices can feel like a daunting task, especially when you're worried about losing clients.
But what if I told you it's not just about the numbers?
It's about understanding your worth, communicating effectively, and aligning your energy with your new pricing. It's about clearing any blocks that are making money feel hard.
I get if it feels like a strange time to be considering a price increase - with the cost of living going up for us all, but if you're fully booked, in demand, or know you can help people, then a price increase might make sense and can be done sensitively.
I'll answer your questions about increasing your prices in today's episode.

Before you discount, try this
Are you feeling the pressure to slash your prices right now?
I get it. When sales are slow, it's tempting to wave that discount wand.
But here's the thing: there are so many ways to boost your business without devaluing your amazing offerings.
If you're only discounting from a place of panic - STOP.
Discounting can be tricky - mostly because it trains your audience to wait until you have a discount or offer a special deal.
From a money mindset perspective, it can sometimes send the message that you don't value yourself at full price. From a branding perspective, it can damage your brand.
Not always - sometimes discounting can be entirely appropriate - maybe you're discontinuing a product, you want to incentivize early birds, you're doing a Beta version of a program, or just because you feel like it. Some industries regularly offer a discount for payment in full or seasonal discounts.
There is no right or wrong - but if you're contemplating slashing and burning your prices right now - I've got some alternative strategies for you on today's podcast.

Bonus Episode: Launch Q&A with Jeff Walker
This bonus episode is the audio from a call that I had this week with Jeff Walker and some amazing members of our community.
We talked honestly about launching, imposter syndrome and why it’s so important to get started. As Jeff said, the best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is today.
This was such an in-depth call, Jeff is incredibly nice so it’s totally worth watching.

How decluttering helps you manifest
Ohhh this is one of my favorite topics and something I’m going DEEP with right now!
Let's talk about how and why DECLUTTERING can help you manifest.
You'll love this if you're just getting started and you're new to developing your manifesting muscle.
And if you're a manifesting veteran who may be feeling a little skeptical, let's get back to basics and reconnect with the magic of possibility.

Is a 7-figure launch realistic?
Not everyone aspires to a big million-dollar launch or can even see that as a possibility. And it’s totally okay if that’s not your goal.
But the reason I love talking so much about launching is to show you that these big launches are possible.
A normal person like you or me CAN achieve a 7-figure launch.
It’s not common and not easy, but it’s possible.
And if you’re like me, that will motivate you to want to learn more about how it could be possible for you. And trust me, it’s worth it.
A 7-figure launch will probably not happen by accident, so the first step is demystifying what it takes and what you would need to make this happen.

Finding your perfect coach
Not everyone is a good coach. Just because you admire someone or their business, doesn’t mean they’re the right coach for you.

There are so many types of coaches, so today let’s check in with exactly what you need and how to find what you’re looking for.

How to finally get your course done
Let’s roll up our sleeves and talk about how to finally get your course done.
I get so frustrated and annoyed by people who are procrastinating on launching their online course, not because it’s easy, but because it’s something you have to just get it done.
It doesn’t have to be perfect and I promise it will be worth it.
So listen to today’s podcast episode for my tips and wisdom on getting your course out into the world.

What are you really selling?
What are you really selling?
When people are looking at their budgets or feeling a little more stretched, you need to be crystal clear on what you’re offering and how you can help.
If you’re in a service based business like a VA, designer or photographer you might be seeing clients say “I’ll just do it myself” or delaying purchases.
So, when times are a little tougher, get clear on the real benefit of your offer. Like a personal trainer, maybe it’s accountability rather than the actual workout routine.
Your prospects are likely busy, and there may never be an ideal time for them, but when you know what you offer and can communicate it in their language, you’re more likely to get them off the fence.
Listen to today’s podcast episode for more.

Other people's money blocks
Ooohh! Such a juicy one for you today - Other people's money blocks.
As you go through your money journey, you may have started to work on your money mindset and money blocks, but other people's money stuff could be derailing you.
Most of your money blocks revolve around made-up stories and old beliefs about what you can be, do, and have.
You also have stories about how your income affects your friends, family, and community.
If you've been stuck at the same income level for a while, it's worthwhile to see if you're unconsciously holding yourself back for other people in your life.

What to say when you have nothing to say
Today's podcast episode is about what to say when you have nothing to say.
I know a lot of people in this space right now.
For whatever reason, whether it be the aftermath of the pandemic, the economy, or the state of global politics, it can be hard to know what to say or whether to say anything at all.
We're living in a time when it's never been easier to start and grow an online business. Still, it's also impossible to ignore the atrocities and inequity happening every day.
When you consider what's happening in the world, it might feel trite to talk about your business or market yourself.
This feels like a lot, so it's understandable if you're unsure what to say online.
I wish we could solve all of the world's problems. But one thing I know is that not doing your business is probably not going to help.
So, if you feel like you have nothing to say or are just tired and overwhelmed, this episode is for you.

Practical Steps For Better Manifesting
If you're fairly new to following me, you may not know that my first book was called "Lucky B*tch," and in fact, a lot of people knew me as the "Lucky B**." 😆
When I started my coaching business, I taught manifesting and the Law of Attraction.
But what made me different was my Virgo personality and my focus on the practical action steps that make a difference when manifesting money or a big goal.
Early in my career, I was known for manifesting free travel, competition wins, bank errors in my favor, and, of course, money.
So I've learned from personal experience and helping thousands of people that there are honest, practical steps you can take to make your dreams real. It's not all woo-woo chanting at the moon.
You really can manifest what you want, but it takes work, so let's revisit the basics that make the Law of Attraction virtually foolproof!
It all starts with a dream, but you have to put yourself in the slipstream of opportunity to have a chance of achieving it.

Stop feeling unworthy of money and success
Today, we’re talking about worthiness - feeling worthy of earning more or deserving of success.
I honestly believe this is the crux of what most people need to learn to enjoy more breakthroughs in life and business.
You can learn all the business and marketing strategies you want, but unless you’ve done the mindset work to love and accept yourself, you’ll always feel unworthy and sabotage yourself.
In many ways, this is one thing you need to master to have the life and business of your dreams.
That you are worthy of success, you’re ready and it’s possible for you.
This is such an important lesson and episode; listen now.

How slow and steady can win in business
So you know the story of the tortoise and hare?
They challenge each other to a race, and the tortoise plods along, slow and steady, and the hare rushes, runs, and gets distracted. Ultimately the tortoise wins.
Well, today, we’re discussing how this “slow and steady wins the race” idea applies to your business.
This is important because if you’re one of those methodical people who like to take it a little slower when initiating action or making decisions, you might feel left out in fast-talking entrepreneurial situations.
The entrepreneurial world often values speed, ideas, and newness over the tried and tested, so business can feel isolating if you’re always surrounded by hare personalities.
If this sounds familiar, listen to today’s podcast to learn about how the “slow and steady” approach can win in today’s online space.

Balancing people over profits
Have you ever said this…
🥰 “I don’t care about the money; I just want to help people” or
🤗 “People over profits,” or even
👩❤️👩 “It’s not possible to both make a lot of money and help people.”
I’ve heard this from a lot of people.
I get it - of course, people are more important than profits, and we should all care about our clients, but business isn’t a zero-sum game, and we can’t use this as an excuse.
So, on today’s podcast, I share how you can help a lot of people and make a lot of money - they’re not mutually exclusive.

Understanding your customer’s Money Archetypes
Let’s shift focus. Today we’re not talking about your money personality, but your customers.
It’s time to look at the type of customers you are and should be attracting and how this might affect your business.
Once you understand more about your customer’s Money Archetypes you can create more impactful marketing and more valuable support and products.
Why do you need to know this?
Well, marketing is all about motivation and sales is understanding who your customers are and what drives them. When you try to market to everyone, you won’t get great results and it’s hard to stand out when there’s a lot of noise.
So the more you understand your customers and talk their language, the more effective your marketing message will be.
These insights are so valuable to help you achieve more sales, and get better at serving and helping your audience.

Business Besties 101: Finding your people
Let’s talk about finding your people - the communities, coaches and business besties you need to thrive.
This is one of my favorite topics because I love talking about my business besties and sharing their work.
Which inevitably leads to questions like “How do I find more besties?” or “Which community should I join for XYZ?”
Having friends who understand your business and have similar experiences is so important. It will play a vital role in your success as an entrepreneur for four main reasons:
Support from someone with a shared experience who can offer empathy, compassion, and advice on overcoming business challenges.
Ideas and feedback on improving parts of your business or marketing.
Contacts and recommendations of great systems, contractors, or staff you’ll need along the way.
Opportunities to uplevel and network by opening doors to new audiences, stages, or events.
More than someone to vent or cry with, a business best friend can be invaluable for masterminding, partnering, and cheerleading.
On today’s podcast, I share my tips on finding new business besties and the right coach to help you grow this year.

Honoring the lifecycle of your business
I used to have a saying in my business, especially about my brand and photos, that it's always sunny summertime in my world.
I love bright, breezy colors and the chill and ease feeling of summer, so I want my brand to embody that.
But for a long time, I tried to live that energy too, of always being in summer - constantly growing, blooming, and being active.
And it got exhausting.
I've realized that there needs to be times of rest and regrowth in the lifecycle of life and my business.
My business can look and feel vibrant and sunny, even if I'm personally in an autumn or winter season.
A period of shedding, releasing, or hibernation can be valuable to refresh your business and your own energy and well-being.
It has taken me (and my Ruler energy) some time to accept that I need some periods of downtime where I'm not always in growth mode. I really need this to imagine and create what's next.
So today, we're talking about the lifecycle of your business and honoring where you are and what you need.

When you’re overwhelmed and everything sucks
Urgh! It doesn't matter how much money you make or how much you love your business, sometimes things SUCK!
You might be in this space right now, feeling down or overwhelmed. So, we're going to talk about what to do to get out of a funk and how to give yourself the grace and space you need.
I get different variations of this question all the time, so today's episode will help you if you've been asking:
What do I do when all the bills are coming in?
What should I do when my business stalls?
I feel really down and everything sucks; now what?
I've been there so many times, and although you might think I have it all together, for me and most people I know in business, it's normal to have regular times when things suck and feel hard.
You might have a specific issue to address, like a staff member or client, but you could also be experiencing burnout. I know when I'm overwhelmed and down, I see more problems than wins in my business.
If you're like me, you might not like hearing that you could be in burnout, or you'll start looking for the magic quick-fix pill, but your body might be telling you to slow down and re-assess what's next.

Key questions before you quit your business
Sometimes, in business, things feel hard. There'll be times when you might not love your business; in fact, you might hate it and want to quit.
But before you do anything drastic, let's work through it together.
It's not all or nothing; you don't have to break your business completely - some tweaks could make all the difference.
Your capacity, energy, and passion for your business will change at different stages of life.
And even at different times of your cycle (if you have periods).
So be honest with yourself about the season that you're in right now.
Farmers need to rotate crops and animals and give land fallow time, and maybe you're in more of a family or health season than a business growth season right now.
Wherever you're at, it's okay, and you can set up your business to support rather than drain you.

"Reading without reflection is like eating without digestion."
I can devour a book in an afternoon, but sometimes don't take the time to reflect on what I've just read. I can be a fast eater, too.
And I'm fast entrepreneur, constantly juggling multiple projects and quick to action new ideas.
The fortune cookie made me reflect on how I can bring more spaciousness into my life.
And it sparked some new ideas on how reflection can help you grow your business.
Because when you're growing a business or dreaming of a bigger life, everyone's best next step looks so different.
Sometimes, it's education or a course. Sometimes, it's going on a retreat like I did recently.
Sometimes, it's in the nuances, like giving yourself an extra day of travel so you don't feel rushed or time off between projects.

My “New Money” mistakes
Thankfully, I don’t get a lot of hate mail.
Well, actually, I don’t know because my team gate-keeps my emails, but I hope not 🙂
But the inspiration for today’s podcast episode does come from a comment I got online…
“Denise, you’re so new money.”
I think it was intended as an insult, but I didn’t take it that way because it’s kinda true. I am new to money and have made a few classic new money mistakes since becoming wealthy.
So, I’ve got some insight and cautionary tales to help you acclimatize to having more money.

How to simplify when feeling overwhelmed
Let’s face it: so many of us are stressed out.
The last couple of years have been a lot, and running a business while having a relationship, family, and self-care isn’t straightforward.
I’ve seen more of our community sharing their health challenges, and I’ve talked a lot about my ADHD diagnosis and peri-menopause journey.
As we get older, things like aging parents, chronic illness, and parenting can cause upheaval.
So it’s no wonder we’re feeling overwhelmed - not to mention pending climate change doom, political instability, and inflation! 😅
In today’s podcast episode, I’m sharing how I simplify when I’m feeling overwhelmed, and I hope there are a few tips that can help you chill and prosper.

On today's podcast, we're talking about how to balance fear and faith and how to discern between wishful thinking, fear, and scarcity.

Pricing strategies pros and cons
Pricing is such a pain point for many entrepreneurs, so I talk about it a lot.
You'll also have to revisit it regularly during your business journey.
A price that feels big and scarcy at the start may soon feel normal or too small. So it's essential to continue to review your pricing so it feels like a win-win and a good energetic match.
So, if you've been avoiding looking at your prices or need help experimenting with your prices, then today's podcast is for you.
I share the pros and cons of different pricing strategies and why they may make sense for your business at various stages as you grow.
Plus, we talk about the big mindset piece involved with pricing - feeling okay talking about money and learning that the price is just the price, and it's okay for you to charge (and receive).

Or you may have heard that it's a goal of mine to retire soon, and you're curious.

Ask Me Anything: Staying on top of your mindset
Every day, I get questions from entrepreneurs about how to stay positive, stay on top of my mindset, or what to do when the inevitable blocks pop up.
I’ve spent the last two decades helping people with their mindset in business because I know how crucial it is to your success and well-being.
Working on your mindset is one of the only things in business that you can’t outsource to anyone else, and in my opinion, it is the number one thing we have to master as entrepreneurs.
When I talk about mindset work, I mean believing in yourself, nurturing an abundance mindset, and challenging your negative beliefs.
It’s not a one-and-done thing, and it’s not one-size-fits-all. You must learn to continually watch your thoughts and feelings to ensure they don’t derail you.
Because we all have negative thoughts, and you can’t ever truly get rid of them, but you can learn to dance with them so they don’t undermine the pursuit of your dreams.
So, this is the topic we’re diving into on today’s podcast.

Is launching getting harder?
Back then when I first tried my hand at launching an online business, it was a whole different ball game.
In 2009, social media was an infant, graphics creation was a nightmare and hosting your own videos? Forget about it unless you were ready to shell out some serious dough.
I still remember the days when PowerPoint or Paint were my tool of choice for creating graphics and I continually tweaked HTML struggling to center things on my webpage.
Fast forward to today, and things are wildly different.
Creating graphics is as simple as a click with platforms like Canva and hosting videos? Platforms like Teachable and Kajabi have made it as easy as pie.
But amidst all the convenience, I hear from lots of entrepreneurs that launching has become more challenging.
The need to keep up with the ever-evolving social media platforms, the struggle to stand out in an increasingly saturated market - it's enough to make even the most seasoned entrepreneurs want to stop.
So, is launching getting harder? I'd say yes and no.
Yes, because the demands are higher and the competition is fiercer. But also no, because with the right mindset and strategy, launching can still be really rewarding.
It's easy to feel overwhelmed and start doubting yourself when you're about to launch. I've been there, trust me.
The online business landscape is constantly changing, and what worked yesterday might not work today. But that's where the thrill lies, in continuously learning and growing.
Listen to today’s podcast episode for my take on the challenges and winning strategies I’m seeing online.

Preparing my business for long term travel
As an introvert, the thought of living out of suitcases, constantly on the move with my family was simply overwhelming.
But, when Mark and I first starting talking about the idea of taking on some extended travel, there was a determination deep within me to turn this journey into something more than just an extended vacation.
It was about breaking free from the daily grind, to create vivid memories that would last a lifetime.
In a couple of weeks, my family and I will begin four months travel in Europe, mainly based in the UK but with a few adventures and weeks away on the continent.
I’ve never been a very adventurous traveller and I haven’t loved traveling with young kids in the past, so it’s taken some time for me to prepare for this trip.
There are a lot of logistics to plan in our business but it’s also taken some mindset work.
I bet many of you entrepreneurs and business owners can relate to this, especially if you’re planning to hit the pause button on work for an extended period.
So, how am I managing to streamline my operations without breaking our business?
Here are three simplified steps I took, which I believe would be beneficial for you as well...

Money lessons from New York
I recently got home from an AMAZING trip to New York, and I was surprised by how many money lessons I picked up!
This was an unusual trip because, at least initially, it wasn't work-related. It felt hard to let myself relax and do something purely for fun.
As you may know, I love musicals and Broadway (and have invested in a few), so I went to NY for BroadwayCon.
The Ruler in me did add two VIP days to pay for the trip, but it was honestly such a chilled, and inspiring trip.
So the first lesson straight away was that it's okay for me to do things just for me and just for joy - this is definitely something I want to lean into next year.
When did you last do something just for the fun of it?

Do I really need a business plan?
Having a business plan is one of those important prerequisites for starting a business that they teach in business school - Right?

How to find your ideal business model using Money Archetypes
How did you pick your business model?
Why do you run your business the way you do?
When you're driving along the road of entrepreneurship and making money, it can be hard to take your foot off the gas for just a second and ask, is this the right road?
Too often, we're not even thinking about the destination; we just focus on getting to the next gas station. I've been there too.
The current state of your products, services, and systems is probably a result of hundreds of decisions made on the fly over a couple of years.
And the result is a business that is generally sound - it helps some clients and makes some money.
But under the hood, things might feel cobbled together.
Is your business model optimal for YOU?
Were you told to do things a certain way? By a coach or mentor?
Are you doing things in business because everyone else does, or that's what your industry expects?
Perhaps you learned to do business a certain way in a job, so when you went solo and needed to make money, you just kept doing things that way?
A better way is to start with your strengths and your personality's unique gifts and design a business model aligned with who you are and how you want to run your business.
In today's podcast, we're discussing what business model and ways of working would best suit your Money Archetype.

How Money Archetypes helped almost 10x my launch (part 1)
After another disappointing launch, I was frustrated and confused.
I realized my business course just wasn’t resonating as I had hoped and something had to change.
So I decided to do something completely different.
I had been a certified Sacred Money Archetypes® coach for years, but it wasn’t until last year that I finally applied the SMA framework to my own launch.
I took a deep breath and threw my heart and soul into the launch, creating a campaign that spoke to the eight individual archetypes.
I relaunched my SMA business course, but it was more like eight launches in one.
It felt like a huge risk, but I believed it was worth it.
And it was – the results were astonishing.
We had almost ten times the sales compared to my previous launches, all because I finally understood my audience and communicated the message clearly.
I learned that to truly connect with people; you have to speak their language and understand their dreams and pain points.
This week’s podcast is part one of a tell-all debrief of my most fun and complex launch ever.

Passive Income: How to start and why you’ll resist it
Growing up, I never imagined that there would be a day when I could make an income without putting in the usual one-to-one effort, like selling a product or service in person.
Everything changed when I stumbled upon the concept of passive income in my early 20s.
With the rise of the internet, I realized the traditional way of earning money was evolving.
So I started by writing an ebook and selling it online but I felt uneasy about being paid for something I had already created.
This is the biggest mindset problem I see with passive income today, and why so many entrepreneurs are skeptical of the idea;
For some, passive income doesn’t feel real, and sometimes it doesn’t feel ethical.
The idea of creating something once and being paid multiple times goes against the money beliefs many of us have been raised with, so can bring up guilt or feel risky.
In today’s podcast episode, I’m dispelling some myths about passive income to motivate you to get started on your next passive income stream.

How to build your Money Team to grow your wealth
Last year, I joined the local country women’s association near my farm, and we had a country fair selling scones and cakes.
They said, “Denise, you’re young and spry; you should be on the cash register.”
And I thought… “No, I can’t; please don’t make me!”...
I didn’t want to have to make change and add up numbers with people watching. So I heated up scones instead.
Maths was really hard for me as a kid and still is.
I use my calculator for everything and get the brain version of “tongue-tied” whenever I have to calculate anything (I suspect I have Dyscalculia, it’s like Dyslexia but with numbers).
For a long time, I was scared to hire “numbers” people in my business - I was intimidated by the idea of building a money team around me, like accountants, bookkeepers, or financial advisors because I felt like I would be tested or they’d realize I wasn’t good at maths.
But being bad with numbers doesn’t have to mean being bad with money - this is a skill you can outsource.
On today’s podcast episode, we’re talking about building your money team so you can grow and protect your money.

It is important to acknowledge these fears to start moving past them, so let's dive in.

How long it really takes to get to 7-figures+
People ask me all the time, “Denise, how long does it really take to make a million dollars?”
For me, the magic number was five years.
Five years from starting my business to pushing over the threshold of $1 million in annual revenue.
But that’s not the whole story.
Because truthfully, I was waiting in the wings for years before starting my business. Listening and learning – gathering all the information I needed to be successful.

But maybe that could be your journey.
Today on the Chill and Prosper podcast, I share the struggles I faced when scaling my business, from my first try at nine years old to everything I have today.

Copycats, jealousy and being original
Small words of wisdom for this week:
Just because someone is succeeding in addition to you, doesn’t mean they are succeeding instead of you.
There’s nothing new under the sun, right? It can be nerve wracking to put your ideas out there because what if it looks like you’re trying to copy someone else.
Or even worse, what if someone ends up copying you and making even more money.
How can we be original when the world around us is moving a mile a minute?
Let me tell you a story …
A few years back, I published a blog post about spotting money leaks in your business.
I had batched the content months before, but it just so happened that the week I picked to publish that post, a peer of mine published the exact same post!!
Was it just a coincidence?
Today on the Chill and Prosper podcast, I’m talking about copycats, making your own path, and being original in your business (plus what happened with that blog post).

How decluttering helps you attract more money
Let’s be real: the physical space around you can really impact your mindset.
Clutter can clog you up. It impacts your ability to focus and nags at you when you have a million other things to do. Kind of like having 50 tabs open on your computer and you can’t figure out which one the music is coming from …
It’s simply overwhelming.
When you have a lot of stuff, it's really hard to appreciate what you actually have in your life.
I’m a big fan of Marie Kondo’s KonMari Method. Marie’s instructions are that if it doesn’t spark joy, it has to go.
Because a build up of junk in your workspace can actually spark a lot of negative outcomes instead …
… stress because you can never find what you need under the mountain of mess on your desk.
… procrastination because you’ve been meaning to clean out your refrigerator for a while now and just got a whiff of death while getting a snack, so now you have to drop everything.
… frustration because you are working all day every day … but nothing in your business or home ever seems to get done.
It doesn’t have to be like that.
Today on the Chill and Prosper podcast, I share how decluttering your space and mindset once and for all, can help you make more money.

How to avoid scheduling burnout in 2023
Can you believe we’re already in the third week of the New Year?
Have you flown into January and already have multiple new projects up and running? Or are you just getting round to opening your emails and working on your plan for the year? Either way is totally fine.
The perfect time to plan out your year is whenever you actually do it!
Mark and I like to start planning things out in December to give ourselves space for the year ahead, but if that’s not your vibe, don’t force it.
You can make your plan any time. Sometimes, we don’t really get to it until February, which is Lunar New Year … so it totally still works.
At its core, our planning process is very simple.
Listen to this episode, where I share how to avoid scheduling burnout without compromising my goals.

How to stop worrying about money
Welcome to another year of the Chill & Prosper podcast!
We’re diving right into the big stuff: money worries.
I’m ready to stop worrying about money!
Let’s face it: there are so many things happening in the world right now that can make us feel unsure. The last couple of years especially have created a lot of money worries for a lot of people.
And let's not gaslight ourselves:, there are real economic pressures that are happening right now.
So that's my disclaimer straight off the bat, today’s podcast episode is not about loving and lighting our way out of money worries.
And I’m also not pretending that those things don't exist - that the economy is perfect, there's no poverty in the world, and we're just going to ignore all of that.
No, I’m talking about what you can personally do when you're feeling worried about money, as everyone can have money worries at any level of income.
You might think that when you have a particular amount of money, then you'll never feel fearful about money again.
And that's absolutely not true.
You can feel good at any income level, and you can also feel not so good at any income level.
You might think, "Oh, Denise, she's the chillpreneur. She's so lucky. She must never worry about money."
And you know what? That is true a lot of the time.
So I want to acknowledge my privilege here.
I'm a very wealthy woman, and I absolutely have a lot of privilege and wealth in my life now.
But that doesn't mean I still don't worry about money sometimes.
I worry about my responsibilities.
I worry about being able to take care of all of my employees, my family, and my assets.
So I do a lot of the things I share in today’s podcast to help me when I feel scared.

If you have had a whirlwind year and you’re thinking about how next year can be different, then today’s podcast episode is for you.

Why I love Batching Content Creation
I love batch creating content – it has changed my life.
And I just get better and better at it. Friends call me the batching queen. I batch EVERYTHING - my social media content, my podcast, video content, admin tasks in my business.
I wish I could find a way to batch some of my kid related stuff!
This one simple mindset shift makes things easier and more profitable. So many people resist batching. It might seem boring. Or hard work. Or lacking creativity.
But it works for every type of personality and every type of business. And it won’t limit your creativity. You can be lazy and disorganized and still do it. I have ADHD. I still batch.
Because it’s so profitable for me to be consistent in my business.
Consistency has made me millions of dollars. I’ve not made money because I am sexy or funny (although I am both those things!). I'm the smartest or most creative but I am really freaking consistent.
I'm so consistent that people think of me when they see the color blue. When they see bees, Kombi vans or roses! Because I batch like a mofo.
Recently, I created 150 days worth of content for my rose farm social media accounts in one day - for Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest – yeah, 450 pieces of content!
Listen in to the latest episode to find out exactly how I do it!

What Can New Kids on the Block Teach You About Money?
I'm stoked about today’s podcast episode - It's silly but has some great lessons too!
I’m sharing money lessons from New Kids on the Block. Check out Step by Step by NKOTB on YouTube. It’s that song that’s always playing in Target!
Step one is that making money can be fun. Sometimes we get so serious about launches and doing the work that we forget that we're allowed to make money and have fun. Shortcut to Success: 4 Myths About Personal Development
Today I’m busting four myths about spending money on personal development. I see backlash sometimes about people buying courses. I see resistance, underspending, people holding themselves back from learning things and giving themselves what they really need because of money mindset issues.
I’ve loved reading ever since I was tiny. I found this little red book once, called The Magic of Believing by Claude M Bristol. I was so fascinated - it was about how you could change your life by changing your thoughts. That book opened the personal development doors for me!
So I see a lot of problems with feeling like you have to complete a book or a course. It’s ok to join a course for one element. Sometimes you work with a mentor for one little tweak. You don't have to finish everything before you go onto the next thing. Once I paid $7,000 to go to a VIP day and got one aha, which led to me making a million dollars.
It’s fine to work with multiple coaches or masterminds; you can get different things from different people. I'm in masterminds just to get techy, ones to help me learn about fairness, and equality, and also business and marketing groups.
Look at what you need to learn, what's holding you back from making money, what skills do you need, what mindset work you need to do, what would help you to actually make money? Money mindset is a massive one; it’s the most intangible thing, but it will stop you from making money. You might be wasting time and effort trying to do things yourself, trying to push through. Let’s bust through these myths and help you get to the next level of success and wealth.

Being the Mickey Mouse in Your Business
In today’s new episode of Chill & Prosper, I have such a fun show for you. I want to talk about being the Mickey Mouse in your business.
You might not know this, but I come from a performing background - I danced my whole life. I was always in the dance studio from age 8 and then from the age of 16, I worked for a company that did Bugs Bunny shows all around Australia. So, we did Looney Tunes shows back in the day where there's Bugs Bunny, Sylvester, Tweety Bird, Elmer Fudd, all that kind of stuff. And these shows happened in the school holidays in Australia at Shopping Centres. And so this is what I spent my school holidays doing, working as a performer. Later, I also performed as Millie the Echidna, an official mascot for the Sydney 2000 Olympic games. So I love looking at things through a dance and a performing lens.
Join me for the business lessons that I’ve learnt from being a performer.

But sometimes these people have so many money blocks in their lives that they just don’t realise how negative they’re being.
Let’s dive in and I’ll give you the good news and the bad news!

I know that it really worries a lot of entrepreneurs more than it should and in fact, you could be so worried about copycats in the future that you’re actually resisting putting stuff out there in the first place which is no good at all.
So let’s deal with this fear and come up with some strategies together, and I want to share some stories about it happening to me as well.
