I need advice! One of my close friends has changed so much since dating her fiancé. When they started dating she asked if we could include him more in our friend group because he has very few friends. He’s a little annoying but overall a nice guy. Now that we’ve started to include him it’s impossible to get together without him. She won’t even hang with the girls unless he can tag along. They argue constantly and have caused multiple scenes in public. I’ve started to make excuses to avoid being In public with them because I can’t take the embarrassment. It seems like anyone who says something about it gets cut off and we’ve all noticed this mean streak in her ever since they’ve been together. He’s got his issues too and definitely instigates some of the arguing. We’ve caught her in multiple lies/embellishments about their relationship. She’s so focused on appearing to be the perfect happy couple. I have a pit in my stomach watching this all happen. I realize a lot of this toxicity is on her but I feel like a horrible friend for holding my tongue. I hate getting involved in other peoples relationships and I wouldn’t even consider it except she is one of my closest friends. I feel like if I say something I’ll be next on the chopping block and it will ripple through our friend group . If you have any advice I’d appreciate it so much!!How do you essentially end a friendship when nothing bad has happened between you guys? I just don’t feel the same vibe anymore and keep turning down advances to hang out and it’s making me feel like a bitch. Nothing explosive happened and I don’t have any animosity towards her, but I’m having trouble setting boundaries without feeling horrible. She’s a great person I just don’t think we vibe well together anymore, but we see each other weekly for school. Please help lol. Lying about being busy has been working but I just feel horrible. Today’s episode is focused on the most iconic show of our millennial coming-of-age decade: Gossip Girl.  I cover everything top to bottom, including how the show came to be, where we were (societally speaking) at the show’s peak, whether or not the show would have flourished if it were produced in today’s world, the problematic nature of the show and the scandals that have followed some of the breakout stars nearly a decade later, and of course, behind the scenes gossip of what was really going down when the cameras weren’t rolling.
