Glitches in the Matrix ft. Andrew Heinlein, Ryan McCauley, and Christopher Mennella

With the new Matrix movie coming out, it makes sense that this week Anthony is discussing times where people have experience glitches in the fabric of reality where people either travelled through time, entered a different dimension or a combination of the two. Story 1: A couple smokes a cigarette with their friend when a random man comes up to them asking for a smoke. Story 3: Some college kids drive to a party. When they arrive, they don't see any cars or signs of a party, despite being late. When they finally enter the home, the house is suddenly full of people and music. They stay over, but the next day their car is nowhere to be found. SCP Stories ft. Ryan McCauley, Seth Colon, and Christopher Mennella

See if you can follow us on this one. If you're unfamiliar with SCPs (Secure, Contain, Protect), they're essentially a vast self-contained universe where strange creatures and entities are added to its canon by users. In essence, everything is fake, but in this episode, the guests try to guess which is the "fakest", in other words, the one that Anthony made up. SCP 1: "Painting" - A painting allows authorized people to step into it and enter a drawn dimension. This story details the experiences of 3 research subjects who dared to step in and one who never stepped out. SCP 2: "Duct Tape" - A (non-offensive) roll of duct tape is able to remove facial features of a person when it's placed on them. SCP 3: "Tower" - A large building is destroyed, then being rebuilt again. Some people explore the building and find a trap door, which leads to a seemingly endless recreation of the tower and trap door. Various people have re-explored these trap doors and encounter eerie events, assuming they made it out at all. Plus, the guys play "Fill in the blank" where Anthony reads a real post about Big Foot by an online user, but with some key words taken out and it's up to the guests to figure out the missing words. The Chupacabra ft. Andrew Heinlein, Christopher Mennella, and Seth Colon

The literal translation is "goat sucker." Chupacabra is a legendary creature that sucks the blood out of various livestock, terrorizing farmers in the Western hemisphere for decades. Culter35 and crew discuss 3 stories involving encounters with this infamous urban legend. Can you figure out which one Anthony made up? Story 1: Three brothers and their parents visit their extended family in Mexico. Once there, the boys run into several mutilated deer and scratch marks on various trees. The eldest brother wants to see the creature, so he sets out into the woods and, much to his dismay, he gets his wish. Story 2: Two women are hiking in the Andes Mountains. While camping, they hear a strange noise in the distance, but decide to let it go. The next day, they experience a heat wave and start running through their water quickly, causing an argument. Their yelling stirs a strange creature out of hiding and starts chasing them. Story 3: A man returns to visit the farm where his grandfather lives. In the middle of the night, the grandson hears a cow fighting for its life. When he investigates, he runs into the Chupacabra attacking livestock. The man and grandfather are able to stun and burn it to death, but this is old news for the grandfather. Plus, the guys play "Guess Who" where they try to figure out which creature Anthony is thinking of with only 5 questions (or maybe more) at their disposal. Want to submit a truth or a lie? Urban Legends That (Mostly) Turned Out to Be True ft. Ryan McCauley, Ryan Feeney and Christopher Mennella

This week on the podcast, Culter35 and guests Ryan McCauley, Ryan Feeney and Christopher Mennella discuss 3 urban legends that have circulated around schoolyards and water coolers for a while now, and 2 of which have now been found to be 100% true. Check out the story details below: Story #1: Mrs. Knight was known around town for carrying an axe with her, but nothing more than a strange, if not mildly dangerous nuisance. That was until police discovered her unusual dinner table setting. When investigators walked into Mrs. Knight's home, they found her passed out nearby an empty table with the children's names labeled on 3 separate plates, but no husband. But that's not because Mr. Knight was late for dinner, it's because he WAS dinner. Mrs. Knight had attempted to feed the children their own father! Story #2: Back when people could congregate and socialize in malls, shoppers were unaware that when they returned to their cars, they were in for more slashing than just the prices. A mysterious man and/or potentially several people were hiding under parked cars and cutting people's ankles, before taking off back to their gang leader, because apparently the price of admission to the group was a piece of flesh. Story #3: A young boy woke up from a deep sleep to a strange figure in his room, holding nothing but a candle. He whispered "Shh, I'm your dad," before retreating into the night, leaving nothing but traces of candle wax. When the boy reported this the next day, he found out he was far from the only one to see the man in his room, a man who was later dubbed "The Candlelight Prowler." Plus, the guys play "Go Figure," the game where Anthony tells us a run-of-the-mill (but supposedly true) ghost story with every cliche in the book, and everyone tries to guess how it ends.
