Come join us in a podcast that takes a look at the history that surrounds the book that has changed the world. Starting from the very beginning of the Bible and going in chronological order, we will dive into not just the history, but events, people, and culture that will bring the pages to life!
Ep.84 The Southern Campaign
Prompted by the Gibeonites' plea, Joshua and his forces swiftly march overnight to aid them against the attacking Amorites. Joshua's prayer led to divine intervention, causing confusion among the Amorites, who had aid from hailstones. The five Amorite kings sought refuge in a cave but were captured and publicly executed by Joshua, their bodies sealed in the cave with stones. This victory initiated a series of campaigns where the Israelites conquered numerous cities in southern Canaan, subduing the region from Kadesh-Barnea to Gaza. Despite scholarly debates on archaeological evidence, the narrative emphasizes the strategic and divine elements of Joshua's military campaigns as detailed in ancient texts.

Ep.37 The Tabernacle
Imagine being in the middle of a journey to the land that had been promised to your ancestors for hundreds of years, when all of a sudden God gives you the instruction manual to assemble a tent… But this isn’t just a regular tent and its furnishings, but the Tabernacle. The place where God would live among His people, just like the times of old in the Garden of Eden.

Intro to The History of the Bible!
Come join on as we look to the Bible and explore the history of God’s story. Here we will come from the perspective that the Bible is absolute truth, with events that actually happened with people that actually lived. Never measuring what the Bible says and comparing it to man’s theories, but always putting the theories under what the Bible says.
