Welcome to the More Than Conversation Podcast w/ Eb, Ash, Lexton & Trey! This podcast goes beyond your regular everyday conversations. We give you HOT (Humble, Open & Transparent) insight into the things that we all struggle with. With every episode we want to equip you with more information, more joy, more hope and more light to share with others around you.
End of the Road...| End of Year Recap | More Than Conversation FINAL episode!
While filming this episode we had NO IDEA that God would later confirm that it would indeed be our last. We believe that the same way God puts it in our heart to start things, He also puts it in our heart to stop. Our podcast has not only been a blessing to our supporters but to each of us individually. It has helped us to grow so much closer to God and closer to each other. Though we are saddened that we have come to an end, we are so grateful to have created a space for believers to express themselves by being honest, open and transparent about their faith journey. We're all excited to see what God has in store for each of us. Until next time...MTC on 3 đź–¤

In this episode, we talk about acting out on faith and share the importance of trusting God in the midst of our struggles.

Come As You Are | Perfection is OVERRATED 🤷🏽‍♀️
So many of us have been fooled into believing that we have to be completely cleansed of all sin before pursuing a relationship with God. News flash: Come as you are is NOT a ploy meant to trick you into becoming a Christian. Jesus died for each and every one of us as we were and as we are now. It is by His grace, not our works that we become saved. Nothing we've done and nothing we currently do can separate us from the love of God. We just have to be open and willing to receive these gifts as freely as they are given to us. So, whether you've sinned two minutes ago, two days ago, two weeks ago.. God loves you and wants nothing more than for you to come to Him with all of your hurt, pain and struggles, AS YOU ARE, so that He can make it all better. We should never subject God to our limited human thinking because it is not about who we are but absolutely about who HE is.
As a woman, we're expected to be so many things for everyone. Wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend etc.. Often times, it can be very overwhelming and we learn that every woman is different but we can still come together to share life experiences and learn priceless lessons. On today's episode, we talk about identity crisis, friendship, boundaries, self care and much more.

Controlling Our Expectations
How many times have you heard the saying "Expect the unexpected" or "Fewer expectations lead to fewer disappointments"? In this episode, we share our thoughts on what can truly make expectations seem unrealistic and how we can find better ways to manage them.

From boys to MEN | Our thoughts on what young men REALLY need.
Society has clouded the minds of too many up and coming young men! If anything, society has set them up for failure. Men are frowned upon for valuing themselves just as highly as women are taught to. In today's episode, we share our RAW feelings on the things young men truly need to grow and become the men that God has called them to be.

I think we can all agree that the media (especially social media) we regularly consume plays a major role in the desensitization of the population at large today. Social media and other forms of entertainment hold us hostage with distractions while simultaneously keeping us informed of world events. However, we can clearly see that today's society has become somewhat detached and indifferent as it relates to these same world events. In today's episode, we share our thoughts on desensitization and the roles the media and entertainment industries have played in numbing the pain.

Have You Taken the 'L'?
What's the biggest L you've ever taken? In today's podcast episode, we discuss the biggest L any of us will ever take. As God's pours His love on us, we are supposed to open ourselves up to receive that love. In turn, this love should be used when loving ourselves. Most importantly, this love is what should be extended to those around us, thus making an 'L'. What does your 'L' look like? Maybe it's a lowercase 'l' and you haven't quite figured out how to extend it yet.
