The noting of Saul’s physical appearance. As I was studying this, I had a revelation about my own physical appearance. I was designed, completely, by God. Every inch. Every part I like and don’t like. And God will can use physical insecurities for His purpose! And He can use them to further the Kingdom of God!! How cool! I hope this perspective shift helps you give the Lord your physical insecurities and helps you even talk more about them. A lot of times with disordered eating, we hardly realize that our eating is actually disordered. Abby opens up about her experience with this and how you can let a loved one in or how you can be the loved one to help. She establishes the importance of distinguishing between parental ways to help and how a friend can help. Abby emphasizes how you can have the conversation with a loved one you care about but not become accusatory.
