Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families | Now is Our Moment – Promote Good, Lessen Evil
In this election process–no matter what happens in the next few weeks–our battle is not between political parties. It's the epic spiritual battle of good versus evil, truth versus lies. With the election less than two weeks away, we need to prepare ourselves and our families for what lies ahead. We have seen so much divisiveness in the last seven years and that isn’t going to change on Nov. 5. No matter who wins our focus and priorities do not change. We need to be prepared to fight for our beliefs, our children, and for the future of our country. We need to stand for truth, fight against evil, and never compromise. Whether it’s agenda-based curriculum in schools, gender confusion, and abortion, or religious freedom, immigration, and the impact of the economy, if we do nothing evil will fill the gap. Today on Fearless, I want to remind everyone that we cannot sit silent on the sidelines. If you’ve missed any of the episodes in the Election Series, I encourage you to catch up at https://cissiegrahamlynch.com. Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families | It’s Not Too Late For Freedom of Faith in Our Schools, Jobs, and The Public Square
Many people think we shouldn’t talk about religion and politics. But one of the most essential rights we have as Americans is the right to free exercise of religion. In fact, it was so important to the founding fathers that they included it in the first sentence of the Bill of Rights. This has been a beacon of hope to those in other countries where people are persecuted for their religion. Yet, so many in our country want to take those rights away – claiming separation of church and state.Today, on the #FearlessPodcast I’m taking a look at the stories of people in the U.S. who have faced persecution and not backed down. My grandfather, Billy Graham, once said, “Let us stand for political freedom, moral freedom, religious freedom, and all the rights of all Americans, and let's never give in to those who would attempt to take it from us.” We pray that a new generation of believers will rise up to stand for the truth of God’s Word.If you’ve missed any of the episodes in the Election Series, I encourage you to catch up at https://cissiegrahamlynch.com. Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families | The Madness of Mutilation – The False Gender Ideology Attacking our Families
What would you do if your child decided to identify as a bird and thought they could fly off of the stairs? You would stop them to protect them from getting hurt. Yet today many children are being influenced to harm themselves through body mutilation and toxic, life-altering drugs because they ‘identify’ as something they are not – and parents, doctors and the government are not only complying, they are advocating for it. Before gender identity was ever a political issue, it was a Biblical issue. Genesis 1:27 says, “And God made man in His own likeness. In the likeness of God He made him. He made both male and female.” We don’t define our gender – only God can define who we are. Today, on the #FearlessPodcast, I’m talking about what parents can do to protect our kids from this evil and serious issue when advocates of gender reassignment are coming after our children. Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families | To Stay or Not to Stay—The Public Education Dilemma of Christian Families (Ep. 142)
Today on the #FearlessPodcast, my friends Bethany and Josh Bidwell are joining me to share the battle they faced with their children in the public school system in Oregon. While Oregon is known to be a hotbed for the progressive, secular agenda, the perverse and disturbing depravity their children were exposed to solidified their decision to move them to a private school. Our education system is actively taking steps to indoctrinate our children – and they don’t want parents to know. Whether it’s Critical Race Theory, gender theory, or social Marxism, many anti-Biblical and anti-American ideologies which are destructive to the core traditional values many families have are shaping future generations. While putting kids in private school or homeschooling isn’t always an option, being informed is the first step to making a change. Parents need to know what their kids are being taught – and who is teaching them – and take steps to make sure their voices and concerns are heard. Our greatest mission field is our kitchen table. And if we aren’t talking to our kids about these issues, the schools will. When parents demonstrate a Christ-like attitude and teach a foundation of Biblical truth to our children, the more they will understand God’s Word for themselves and be able to reject the lies of this world. Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families—Fighting a Culture That Celebrates Death
Who will preserve and protect the most vulnerable people in our society? I’ve talked about abortion on the #FearlessPodcast many times. This is one of those topics that people seem to confuse between being a personal/political issue or a Biblical one. But the Bible is very clear – Thou shall not kill. These are four simple words that have literally divided this nation and the churches within it. When Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022, the press and social media misinformation was used to scare women. Yet, this “right” has not been taken away and it’s not the only option. The decision to have an abortion used to be a last resort. Out of desperation or fear, women thought they didn't have a choice. But now it is championed. It's paraded. It's bragged about. It shouted about from steps at our Capitol. It's become an active form of birth control. Far too many people – Christian or not – have sat silent because we all know someone (whether we are aware of it or not) who has faced this unfathomable “choice.” One out of four women in the U.S. have had an abortion. It’s up to the church to show love and support to these women and children through these difficult circumstances and let them know it’s never too late for God’s grace and forgiveness. Today on the #FearlessPodcast, I’m tackling reproductive rights – one of the 8 topics in my Election Prayer Guide – and why it’s so important to know what your state and elected officials’ stance is on this issue that affects the future of our nation. Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families—Loving People While Securing a Border
We lock the front door of our house to protect our family. If you wouldn’t let a person you don’t know walk into your home, why would you want someone who is unknown walking into the front door of our country? Immigration and national security are tough topics for many Christians. We are called to love our neighbor and take care of the widows and orphans. But we also called to submit to the governing authority. My dad has said the job of the church is to love people, but the job of the government is to provide careful security for its citizens. This is another issue that is not just political, but it’s Biblical. Today on the #FearlessPodcast, I’m taking a look at what the Bible says about immigration and national security – one of the 8 topics our families are facing which are covered in my Election Prayer Guide. Election 2024: Issues Affecting the Heart of Our Families - Grocery & Gas Economics
The election is just a few weeks away. If you’re like me and have been impacted by storms and life’s circumstances you may not have been paying as close attention to what’s going on with politics. But with so much at stake, we can’t afford to be uninformed or to sit on the sidelines. I recently released the Fearless Family Election Prayer Guide about the most urgent issues affecting the heart of our families. Today on the #FearlessPodcast, I’m talking about an issue we can all relate to—the economy. You don’t have to be a financial expert to know about grocery and gas economics and how the essentials are hurting our wallets. When people cut back, giving to the church suffers. Right now we are seeing the impact churches and non-profits have when disaster strikes and government can’t save us. My Family is Facing Another Hurricane – God Is With Us
Almost exactly 2 years to the day of Hurricane Ian hitting our home in Ft. Myers, Florida, we are once again living through another devastating storm. My family recently moved back to my hometown of Boone, North Carolina – just one of the communities across the Southeast where Hurricane Helene caused widespread damage. Today, I’m sharing how my husband and I are talking about Hurricane Helene with my kids and how the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse are serving in the hardest-hit areas now recovering from Florida to Georgia and South Carolina, and across the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee.Watch the episode and find out how you can help at https://cissiegrahamlynch.com/fearless-episode-138/. People are Flawed. Candidates are Flawed. Our Vote Goes Beyond the Ballot Box.
We’ve all seen the chaos surrounding the elections, political parties, and candidates. It seems to get worse each and every day with no end in sight. What many don’t realize is that our vote goes beyond the halls of the White House, beyond the U.S. borders. Why do our vote and prayers matter when we go to the ballot box in November? My friend, Pam Pryor spent her entire career working in politics—she is who I go to anytime I have questions on politics, Washington, DC, or the American church—and I’ve asked her to join Fearless to talk about what’s at stake for us here and how it affects those around the world. The Battlefield Has Arrived: How Proverbs Can Prepare Us
As parents, we are in a battle for the souls of our children; as Christians, we are in a battle for the soul of our nation. This may sound dramatic, but every day we can see first-hand how our values are under attack – especially as we get closer to Election Day. Today, Pastor Gary Hamrick joins me for a new episode of the #FearlessPodcast to talk about how the fight is now at our front door. His church, Cornerstone Chapel is in the backyard of Washington DC, and they have seen members of their church face attacks because of their rights as parents, their belief to not embrace transgenderism, taking a stand for what’s being taught to their children, and more. My grandfather, Billy Graham, often said that Psalms would teach you how to get along with God, And the Proverbs teach you how to get along with man. Pastor Gary shares how he has encouraged his church to navigate the battles they encounter with Proverbs as their guide, and he encourages us to do the same. Chaos, Politics, & John Wayne
Today kicks off a new season of Fearless – a season filled with the good, the bad, and the ugly of issues we are facing in the world. This summer we have seen so many crazy things happen from the Olympics and assassination attempt of former President Trump to the economic crisis and in the U.S. and wars overseas. With chaos all around us, how should Christians respond? I’ve always been a fan of John Wayne and the calm he brought to scenes filled with confusion and panic. One of his famous quotes was, "My hope and prayer is that everyone know and love our country for what she really is and what she stands for." It reminds me of another quote from my grandfather, Billy Graham, who said, “the secret strength of a nation is found in the faith that abides in the hearts and homes of the country.” My prayer is that this episode of the #FearlessPodcast helps you remember what’s important in these chaotic days. For more resources and additional episodes visit https://cissiegrahamlynch.com.

Summer Encore Series—War in Israel Continues: Can Supernatural Hate be Overcome?
Today, I’m continuing the summer encore series – re-releases of some of your favorite past episodes – with a special podcast that was recorded in Israel. As Israel braces for a likely imminent attack by Iran and its allies, it’s important to know what’s going on in Israel and how the people that live there are affected by this ongoing conflict. Samuel Smadja, a friend of mine that lives in Israel, is a Messianic Jew who took time to explain how the Israeli people are doing and what it’s like to be in Israel during a time like this. The Middle East and Israel can be very complicated and I hope you’ll be encouraged to learn more about what’s going on and to pray, as Samuel said to “pray for the peace between the God of Israel and the people of Jerusalem.”For more resources and additional episodes visit https://cissiegrahamlynch.com.

Summer Encore Series: War in Israel: Why is this important and how do we respond?
This summer I am re-releasing some of your favorite past episodes. It’s been nearly 300 days since the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Yet the war in Israel is still ongoing and more than 100 people are still being held hostage. The Oct. 7 attack against Israel is the most deadly since the Holocaust. Pastor Gary Hamrick from Cornerstone Chapel in Virginia joined me to on #Fearless discuss some questions many have asked about the conflict: is Biblical prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes; why does antisemitism continue to rise; how do we respond; and, much more. Summer Encore Series: How Can You Find a Healthy Balance in Politics This Year?
This summer I am re-releasing some of your favorite past episodes. On today’s episode, I’m sharing a conversation with Pastor Gary Hamrick, pastor of Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia, where we discuss the importance of engaging in politics. I know many Christians struggle with this, and many non-Christians take the stance of separation of church and state. But we need to stand boldly to protect our religious freedom – and we need to know who is representing us and what their values are at every level from local to state to national elections. I encourage you to listen to this message and share it with those who might also be encouraged by it. How do we pray for our nation in wake of political violence? We have seen leaders on both sides of the aisle condemn this abhorrent act. Now, many people are asking where we go from here? Growing up as a Graham, Accepting Your Calling and Leaving a Powerful Legacy – with Franklin Graham
What do you want your legacy to be? For the past five years, I’ve shared about what it means to live fearlessly for your faith in a world that wants to destroy Biblical values. I’ve been able to do this because of the godly legacy that my grandparents and parents have passed down – that God is faithful to those who never compromise the Gospel. Today, my dad, Franklin Graham, is joining me to answer questions I’ve never asked him before about his life, what he wants his legacy to be, his relationship with his parents, and how God changed his life 50 years ago in Israel. Thank you for being a part of the #FearlessPodcast whether this is your first episode or you’ve been along for this journey for the last five years. Pride Month: How to Love Without Compromising?
Chaos and confusion are all around us. June is a month filled with rainbows and Pride parades and messages that “love is love.” We live in a time when we see a growing hatred towards Christians and a biblical worldview. These attacks and confusion are especially strong during “Pride Month.” The Bible tells us that “Pride goes before destruction…”(Proverbs 16:18). So how do we make sure that we are protecting our families and teaching our children truth when the world is telling them that we are to accept and embrace the LGBTQ agenda? Today on the #FearlessPodcast, I want to remind you that God and His Word never change. Pastor Greg Laurie: Antisemitism on College Campuses, Israel & End Times
Antisemitism is on the rise. Seeing protests on university campuses across the U.S. and growing violence against Jewish people around the world is not only shocking, but it’s a reminder that God’s people will be persecuted because of our allegiance to Him (Matthew 10). It has been just over seven decades since the Holocaust, and the growing Jewish-hate is eerily similar to what happened leading up to the Hitler’s “Final Solution.” As Christians, this shouldn’t come as a surprise, yet many pastors are not standing with Israel and teaching their congregations about why Israel is so important. Today, Pastor Greg Laurie joins the #FearlessPodcast to discuss the ongoing war in Israel, antisemitism on college campuses, and what the Bible says about end times. He’ll also share why it’s important for everyone to simply share Jesus. For more resources and additional episodes visit https://cissiegrahamlynch.com.

The Lies of I’s—Seeking Godly Wisdom instead of Selfish Ambition (Ep. 122)
We live in a society that tells us that selfishness and self-centeredness are okay so that we can be happy, successful, and feel important. But, the world is full of foolish, evil, and demonic wisdom. We need to be cautious of what we are looking to and where we are looking for truth and guidance. The Lies of I’s—Turn “I Deserve” into “How to Serve”
How often do you hear yourself saying “I”? I want. I need. I wish. We have these “Lies of I’s” – lies we tell ourselves that culture tells us are a truth. My husband I were having a discussion the other day and I heard myself saying, “I deserve.” That’s a phrase I don’t even let my kids use, and here I was disagreeing with Corey saying, “I deserve better.” We seem to live in a world and society that is full of entitlement. Who Are You Following to the Ballot Box?
Love it or hate it, Taylor Swift has been everywhere lately. Whether on the news or on social media, NFL games or the GRAMMYs. Don’t Rush Through Christmas—4 Lessons to Help Refocus
The Christmas season is a time full of never ending to-do lists. It’s so busy, that we often rush from one thing to the next without taking in the importance of Christmas. But, I don't want to rush by the Christmas season. I love the traditions. I love the excitement I don't want that sense of panic that we got to get it all done. This time of year, my thoughts often go to Mary, Jesus’s mother. Can you imagine what she must have been going through before Jesus’ birth? And yet, she knew the faithfulness of God and her response was to praise Him. I believe that we can learn from her response four earthly lessons that reflect our eternal disciplines – she submitted, she served, she suffered, and she sang.If we take a look at Mary and use her example to frame our busyness, we too can magnify God through our songs of praise all year long. This year, don’t rush by the Nativity; don’t rush by Mary; and don’t rush by Jesus. Instead, take time to reflect on the gifts we have and enjoy this Christmastime. For more resources and additional episodes visit https://cissiegrahamlynch.com.

Should Christians be Scared of This Changing World?
The first time I traveled to Rome was with my dad when I was 19—the beginning of that trip changed my life and my relationship with my dad. Rome has since become my favorite city to visit because of my memories with him. I was recently back in Rome with my dad. Before his Noi Festival, I sat down with him to talk about the importance of being in Rome and why it holds special memories for both of us. We also talked about what’s happening in the world today and how Christians should respond to the chaos around us. Listen to the latest episode of the #FearlessPodcast to hear how Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association are responding around the world and where we can look to find hope and peace despite living in times of uncertainty. When the World is Watching, Do You Bite Your Tongue or Use Your Words to Burn it Down?
This summer I saw my kids struggle to control their tongues; they were frustrated with each other and their tone with each other was just ugly. And I know they learned it from me. I realize we don’t always get it right – I know this true for me and there have been many times where I’ve had to bite my tongue when I get frustrated, offended, or when others are rude. With everything that has happened since 2020, it seems that people are quick to be more angry, more upset, and more sensitive. It can be shocking when you hear the language and hate that some people spew. So, how should we react when we hear hateful, crude, and offensive language and words from others? I’ve recently been working on this in my own home with my kids and husband and I encourage you to listen to this episode of the #FearlessPodcast to hear more about why this is important. Is War in Our Future? What’s Happening on the World Stage and Should Parents be Concerned
The world seems to be in a state of chaos and rapidly changing. As a parent, I haven’t been able to keep the images of the attacks on Israel out of my mind. When we see the turmoil happening in Israel, Ukraine, and right here in America, it’s easy to get caught up in worry about the future. What do Americans need to know about these crises and how do we talk to our kids about war? What’s the cost of preserving our future? These are questions my brother, Edward, a 16-year military combat veteran and COO of Samaritan’s Purse, is joining me to discuss on the #FearlessPodcast. “Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul; the other for your freedom.” For more resources and additional episodes visit https://cissiegrahamlynch.com.

War in The Holy Land: Hard Questions, Simple Answers
What’s going on in the Middle East is complicated. Why is it important? What’s the history? Why do we need to stand with Israel? It’s critical to everyone to know what’s happening and how it impacts us. Once we understand God’s plan for Israel, the major events taking place now start to make sense and we can see how religious culture, politics, and Biblical history all align. Pastor Skip Heitzig joins the #FearlessPodcast to explain this in a simple way that we can all understand. For more resources and additional episodes visit https://cissiegrahamlynch.com.

War in Israel: Why is This Important and How do We Respond?
Israel’s 9/11 happened this weekend and they are at war. The photos and videos are horrific, and it has been an emotional few days reading the stories coming out of Israel. This attack against Israel is the most deadly since the Holocaust. Pastor Gary Hamrick from Cornerstone Chapel in Virginia is joining me today to discuss some questions many have been asking: is Biblical prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes; why does antisemitism continue to rise; how to we respond; and, much more. Anti-Purity Culture: Was the Church Wrong & When to Talk to Our Kids About Sex
Do you know about the anti-purity movement that’s going against the church-based campaigns of the 1990s that encouraged young people to wait until marriage to have sex? Was the Church wrong in how it handled this message? When should we talk to our kids about sex? To be honest, this is a topic that the church seems to have done a 180 on since the time of the free love movement and sexual revolution of the 60’s and 70’s. As a parent, this is one of many questions I’m asking as I approach a new stage of life with my kids. And I’ll admit that I don’t have the answer. But today, I’m discussing the root problem of so many issues we see today – from LGBT to pro-life issues, to drag queens and gender ideology – sex outside of marriage and a rejection of the biblical standard for sex. Would you let your son play football? How do you respond to kids’ sports games and practices being on Sundays? These are some of the questions I get asked by people all the time about kids in sports. Today, my husband Corey is joining me on Fearless to answer these questions and give his “insider” perspective on college and professional football and his personal point of view from one of the greatest football plays of all-time. Therapy within the church—Are we seeking godly counsel? - Encore
Have you ever had someone tell you that you should see a therapist? It seems today, there is an overwhelming reliance on therapists both inside and outside of the church. As Christians, are we seeking godly counsel when we face trials, or are we looking for worldly solutions? Today, I’m wrapping up my summer encore episodes with a re-release of my discussion with my friends, and founders of Home Improvement Ministries, Drs. Paul and Virginia Friesen. They joined me to talk about the seasons in life where we need to seek godly counsel to help us navigate through the trauma and challenges of life, and how to identify when we need to seek that counsel. It’s important to have Christ-centered resources when you need them. If this is an episode you've already heard, share this episode with some friends that maybe you've been having this discussion with, to help have those hard discussions that the church is neglecting. For more resources and additional episodes visit cissiegrahamlynch.com.Learn more about the Billy Graham Rapid Respond Team at BillyGraham.org/RRT

A Cultural Hurricane – Can Your Foundation Stand Through the Storm?
People often ask what the secret to the Graham family is. Spoiler alert: There is no secret. The home that my grandparents built – where my dad was raised – has a strong foundation, but it was far from perfect. There’s a saying, “If these walls could talk,” what would they say? As I look back on 99 episodes of Fearless and the topics and issues we’ve covered and guests that have joined me, I wanted to find a way to make this episode special. I kept coming back to the foundation of my family. That foundation starts with home – my grandparent’s home in the mountains of North Carolina holds such special memories. For my 100th episode, I am sharing the struggle I’ve had to find my voice, and with my identity of being a Graham. But I’m also reflecting back on the house that built me, with a strong foundation and an enduring legacy that continues to influence me and my family to be strong, fearless, an uncompromising when it comes to God’s Word. So today, and as we continue to next chapter of Fearless, I hope you are encouraged to raise up the next generation in the love, hope, and truth of Jesus. For more resources and additional episodes visit http://cissiegrahamlynch.com.

Pride Month—How Should We Respond?
June brings out all the true colors of corporate America as companies pander to the LGBTQ community in honor of “Pride Month.” You can’t go shopping or open social media without seeing rainbows and the LGBTQ flag displayed on everything from clothes to food. But what exactly is Pride Month? Where did it start? And how are Christians supposed to respond to this celebration that goes against our beliefs? I started #Fearless because so many people were asking how they should respond to those they know and love who are living in this lifestyle. And I’m doing this episode because more people are again asking “what do we do?” I’ve said before that love has become the greatest stumbling block for many Christians, because we have used “love our neighbors as ourselves” as an excuse not to share the Gospel. On this episode of Fearless, I encourage you to address Pride Month with grace and truth. And I hope you’ll join me in praying for those who are facing challenging situations with those they love as they navigate the cultural acceptance of Pride. For more resources and additional episodes visit http://cissiegrahamlynch.com. Living Life By the Gaze Strategy
We’re living in a world of chaos full of global unrest, cultural turbulence and personal suffering. Often, we are more focused on our traumas and challenges than we are on the hope of Heaven. So, how do we change that? My dad taught me the “gaze strategy” when I was learning to drive. But we can apply it to every area of our lives. If we focus on the Cross of Jesus Christ, we can shift our perspective from the here and now to the eternal. I recently spoke at Calvary Albuquerque’s Spring Gathering and the theme was “A Better Day.” I hope you are encouraged by this message that reminds you we all go through difficult times and our foundation directs how we’ll deal with those struggles. For more resources and additional episodes visit http://cissiegrahamlynch.com.

Is Our Compromising Culture Keeping Us From a Day of Rest?
Between prepping for the week ahead, getting last-minute chores done, your job and your kids’ sports schedules, keeping a true day of rest every week can be hard. And how important is it, really? The Bible says it’s very important to set aside one day a week for resting and honoring the Lord. Culture, on the other hand, has redefined what a day of rest should look like.On this episode I talk about some of the reasons why God calls us to keep the Sabbath. I also share some of the challenges my family has had with doing that and how we’re working through them.Jesus said man was not made for the Sabbath, but the Sabbath was made for man. Be Careful Little Eyes—The Dangers of our Screen Time
We warn our kids to always be careful about what they’re looking at, what they do, and how they behave. But how do we as parents navigate that when it comes to our own screen time – not only what we’re watching but how much time we’re spending watching it? As screens have become present everywhere in our culture, it’s important to remember that time is a precious gift from God. It’s our responsibility to use our time in such a way that honors God and prioritizes what we’ve been entrusted with—our families and children. When we give too much time to content that’s meaningless and which isn’t God honoring, darkness and the world win a battle in the war for our hearts. Confronting the Chaos Caused by the Transgender Agenda
When culture denies reality, chaos and confusion are at large. And that’s what we are seeing today with the transgender ideology that’s getting pushed into all aspects of society—from drag queen story time, to spokespeople for major brands, to the havoc it’s wreaking in athletics. It’s an agenda that’s affecting our children and families, and even permeating into decisions and guidance from government and medical professionals.Today on Fearless, I’m specifically looking at the chaos caused by allowing biological males to compete—and dominate--in female sporting events. While the world is neglecting truth, Christians need to stand strong and refuse to affirm the lies and untruth of the transgender agenda. On this episode, we’ll discuss how you should respond in these times of confusion and in the face of this fast-growing movement. I hope it encourages you to know and be emboldened by God’s Word and to equip your children and family with His truth.

Therapy within the church—Are we seeking godly counsel?
Is seeking a therapist a new fad? There are seasons in life where we need to seek godly counsel to help us navigate through the trauma and challenges of life. However, I’ve seen a trend of people seeking therapy with no end goal; and sometimes even treating their therapist as a paid-for best friend. On this new episode of #Fearless, I’ve invited some dear friends who helped me in a difficult season of life and through issues I’ve faced personally. Dr.’s Paul and Virginia Friesen of Home Improvement Ministries have a long history of family ministry, providing godly counsel to those who come to them for help.Today we’ll discuss the difference between therapy and counsel, what red flags we should keep an eye out for in therapy, and when we need to seek godly counsel. For more resources and additional episodes visit cissiegrahamlynch.com. “Love your neighbor” isn’t an excuse to be silent
Love has become the greatest stumbling block to many Christians, because we have used “love our neighbors as ourselves” as an excuse not to share the Gospel. This applies particularly towards the LGBT community. We all know and love someone in the LGBT community – someone with whom we don’t think we can be honest and share the Truth with. But we as Christians need to remember that we can stand in truth and love at the same time and that loving our neighbor doesn’t mean affirming their lifestyle. On this episode of “The Elephant in the Room” series, I talk about how to love the LGBT community like Jesus does, with both grace and truth. Racial Reconciliation – Are we having the right conversations?
The topic of race has escalated in the last few years and seems to have permeated every aspect of our society. Race and racial reconciliation is a topic some like to discuss and a topic some would like to ignore—but we in the church cannot ignore it. We need to ask how should we as the church be talking about racism and racial reconciliation? I’ve brought in Monique Duson, co-founder of the Biblical Center for Unity, who has spent the last few years addressing the dangers of CRT and helping Christians discuss these issues with a biblical worldview. She’s joining me to help us to know what conversations we should be having, what red flags to watch for in the church, and what’s at the heart of this issue. Through The Elephant in the Room series, we’ve been looking at topics many churches are missing. While many churches are having the conversation about race and racial reconciliation, they are looking to the world for answers and not to Scripture. I hope this conversation with Monique encourages you to not be afraid to have difficult conversations and to look to the Bible as the source for truth. For more resources and additional episodes visit cissiegrahamlynch.com. Cohabitation has become the new normal--even inside the church. Think about it, how many people do you know that out of convenience or any other reason have lived together before marriage? How Can You Find a Healthy Balance in Politics This Year?
Politics can be a divisive subject. Out of fear, some pastors completely avoid the topic from their pulpits. On this episode of “The Elephant in the Room” series, I discuss how a church can find a healthy balance of discussing political issues without forsaking the Gospel. I have a conversation with Gary Hamrick, pastor of Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia, who found himself in the middle of the cultural and political battle without going to look for it. Summer Has Ended--A Fresh Focus and a Brand New Fall Series
Fearless is back from its summer break, and in this new episode I share with you something that God continually laid on my heart throughout the summer. While serving with Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, I was reminded of one thing—the importance of keeping our eyes focused on the cross—especially as we face opposition in our culture or challenges in life. I’m also excited to tell you a little bit about a new series of Fearless episodes I’ll be launching this fall.My family and I had a summer full of adventure, service and ministry and I look forward to telling you about it in this episode.Scripture Referenced · 1 Peter 1:6-7· John 15:19 and 16:33· Ephesians 6:12· Mark 16:15· Hebrews 12:2-3· 1 Corinthians 1:18· Matthew 26:28· Galatians 5:11Going Farther · Billy Graham Evangelistic Association – https://billygraham.org/· Law Enforcement Appreciation Program -- https://rrt.billygraham.org/nlem/law-enforcement-appreciation-program/· UK God Loves You Tour -- https://billygraham.org/story/londoners-decide-its-time-to-surrender-to-god/· Franklin Graham – https://billygraham.org/about/biographies/franklin-graham/· Samaritan’s Purse – https://www.samaritanspurse.org/· Operation Heal Our Patriots -- https://www.samaritanspurse.org/education-2/operation-heal-our-patriots/ Websites:· Billy Graham Evangelistic Association – https://billygraham.org/· Billy Graham Radio – https://billygrahamradio.org· Samaritan’s Purse – https://samaritanspurse.org/Social MediaConnect with me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.· Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Facebook· Billy Graham Facebook· Billy Graham Radio Facebook

Jane Graham on Life, Faith, Motherhood and Family - Encore
Welcome back to the ‘Summer Encore’ series of Fearless! This week we’re returning to an episode with someone who is one of the greatest influences in my life, someone I want everyone to know, and that’s my mom, Jane Graham. Over the years, so many people have asked questions about my mom. Though she’s Franklin Graham’s wife and Billy Graham’s daughter-in-law, my mother isn’t really one for the spotlight. Her ministry has always been more private and behind the scenes, taking care of our family and serving those around her in our community.I’m so excited that I get to share a little bit of her with you this week. We’re going to talk about her early life, how she met my dad in Montreat, NC, the influence of my grandmother Ruth Bell Graham, her faith, being in ministry and the challenges and joys of motherhood and marriage.I hope that you’re inspired and encouraged as you listen my conversation with my mom. It’s an episode that you’re not going to want to miss. A Fearless Faith Begins with Fear - Encore
The ‘Summer Encore’ series of Fearless returns with another one of my favorite episodes – talking about how a fearless faith begins with fear.Over the years, I’ve come to understand that a fearless and sustaining faith can only come when we fear God. But what does it mean to fear?In the simplest terms, it means that we take God seriously. We respect Him, we obey Him, we submit to His discipline and we worship Him in awe.And there is a blessing and peace that comes when we fear the Lord.Proverbs 9:10 tells us that “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”Join me on this episode of Fearless as we talk more about my concerns for the Church and what it means to have a faith centered on a foundational understanding that our God is a Holy God who deserves our love, honor, respect and, yes, even our fear. Adventure will have Adversity - An interview with Tammie Jo Shults - Encore
For the second episode of the Fearless ‘Summer Encore’ series, I wanted to feature one of my favorite guests who I get to serve with while I’m in Alaska with Samaritan’s Purse. “Nerves of steel.” That’s how many people described Tammie Jo Shults in 2018 after she landed a Southwest Airlines plane that had lost an engine. But even before that fateful day, Tammie Jo had a fearless faith that took her from a farm in Texas to being one of the US Navy’s first female fighter jet pilots. I had the honor of speaking with Tammie Jo as she visited military couples at Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Heal Our Patriots. Hear how her #fearlessfaith helped her overcome life’s biggest challenges on today’s #FearlessPodcast. Lessons Learned from My Dad - Encore
Welcome to the first episode of the Fearless ‘Summer Encore’ series! Since my dad’s 70th birthday is this week, I wanted to share an early episode of Fearless that’s all about the incredible influence he’s had in my life. I’ve always been a proud daughter – and proud of the work my dad does as he leads the organizations of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. But one of the questions that I’m asked most often is what I’ve learned as the daughter of Franklin Graham. So today, I’m discussing the most important thing that I’ve learned from my dad. Feeling Inadequate for the Task? The Fix is ‘Simple.’
We all have times that we feel inadequate for what God has called us to do. I was recently asked to speak at an apologetics conference, but after I accepted, I started to think, “What am I going to share?” Then I remembered a similar story my grandfather shared – about how the simple message of the Gospel was all that’s needed to reach the hearts of those who hear it. With my grandfather’s example in mind, I decided to talk about the simplicity and power of the Gospel. That’s also what I share with you on this episode of Fearless. I remind you—and myself—that the Gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives and needs to be shared with people now more than ever. We have an opportunity to be a light in an increasingly dark world. Because after all, it’s in the darkest of nights that the light shines the brightest. “Roe Is Dead”: June 24, 2022
Friday, June 24, 2022, will go down as a historic day because of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Many people are angry about the decision and it’s important that you know how to respond to them. I talked with attorney Todd Chasteen—vice president of public policy and general counsel for Samaritan’s Purse— about what this ruling means for abortion rights and pro-life work in the United States going forward. A Father’s Character – Lessons I’ve Learned From My Dad and Grandfathers
I’m thankful that I grew up with a godly dad, two godly grandfathers and other men who influenced my life. The lessons they’ve taught me continue to guide me. As we get ready to celebrate Father’s Day, I want to share with you a little bit about the important men in my life—some stories about them and wisdom from them. I also look at what the Bible says about the roles of fathers. But this episode is for moms, too, because of a lot of what I reference from the Bible can help both parents as you raise your children. Being a parent is hard and a tremendous responsibility. I want this episode to encourage you to be intentional about making God the center of your family and asking Him how to leave a godly legacy in their lives. Uvalde: The Steady Peace of Jesus in the Darkest of Times
Just like you, my heart breaks for the families of those children and teachers killed in the Uvalde, Texas, school shooting. When tragedy happens, many people will ask ‘why?’ The world is full of evil and sin. But there is hope in Jesus even in the darkest of times. Two chaplains from the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team who were in Uvalde within two hours share their experience in responding to this tragedy. Husband and wife, Ken and Stacey Williamson were asked by a family of one of the victims to assist them in a way I can’t begin to imagine. Parents Guide to Sexuality--Clarity in the Confusion
It’s important for parents to talk with their kids about sex, but it’s a lot more difficult to do now than it used to be. Terminology related to sexuality, gender and orientation seems to change almost daily. My guest on this episode helps us cut through the confusion and point us and our kids back to the simple truth of God’s plan for sexuality. Hillary Morgan Ferrer is founder of Mama Bear Apologetics and she minsters to moms by doing the research they don’t have time to do on tough subjects like this. We’re bombarded by dangerous lies and ideas about sexuality, everywhere from the media to schools and even some churches. Hillary’s and my discussion can empower you to confidently respond to those messages with grace and truth. If Roe v. Wade Is Overturned, Are You Ready?
The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to issue a ruling in June that could overturn or weaken Roe v. Wade. There are many misconceptions about the case and what it means for the future of abortion in this nation. Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life, joins me on today’s episode to give clarity and solid answers to arguments you might hear about the case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The Court is considering a law in Mississippi that would ban abortions after the 15th week of pregnancy. If the law is upheld, states could decide for themselves if and when abortion should be legal. Where would that leave the pro-life community? I hope our conversation helps you have a better understanding of what this significant case means and encourages you to see that it’s never too late to get involved in the fight for the lives of unborn children. Skillet’s John and Korey Cooper Don’t Back Down From Defending Christianity
I like to call John and Korey Cooper the “rock star it couple.” They’ve been married 25 years, they’re members of the Christian band Skillet and they’re relentless defenders of truth. John and Korey have been setting an example of how to have a Christ-centered marriage, raise Godly kids and be a light for Jesus in a dark world for years. I’ve seen firsthand John and Korey praying for and ministering to people at some of my dad’s outreaches. The Coopers are fun to talk to but also serious about the issues facing the Church and our families today. I hope you’ll laugh along with us and be challenged by what they had to say on this episode. Spiritual Deconstruction and Progressive Christianity: A Talk With Alisa Childers
Progressive Christianity is a movement of Christians who are reexamining, redefining and often rejecting the core claims of the historic Christian Gospel but retaining the title “Christian.” My guest on this episode has personal experience of how dangerous Progressive Christianity can be. Alisa Childers was a member of the Christian band ZOEgirl and she’s written a book called “Another Gospel?” She started researching the truth of historic Christianity after the pastor of the church she was attending began leading members into Progressive Christianity. I want you to be able to recognize red flags that go up if Progressive Christianity is starting to get a foothold in your church or in a friend’s faith walk. Alisa identified some of those red flags and talked about how you can respond when she spoke during morning devotions at Samaritan’s Purse earlier this month. International Women’s Day: What Kind of Woman Do You Want To Be?
International Women’s Day celebrates the cultural, political and socioeconomic achievements of women. But the world’s definition of a successful woman can look very different from God’s definition. On this episode of Fearless, I talk about Scriptures and women—in the Bible and in my own life—that have helped me better understand what it means to be a Godly woman. As women in Ukraine and other countries face unimaginable hardships today, I’m grateful for the simple blessings I and so many other women in the U.S. enjoy. I’m also thankful I don’t have to judge my worth by the world’s standards, but instead find my value as a woman in knowing that I’m a child of God. Whether you’re a woman or a man, I hope what I share on this episode inspires you to live boldly for Jesus in a world that has a lot of wrong ideas about men and women.ScripturesProverbs 14:1; 31EstherMatthew 24Genesis 31 Peter 3:4RuthJohn 4: -421 Samuel 251 Kings 10:1-13Luke 12 Timothy 1:5 Going FartherFearless Family devotional by Cissie Graham Lynch -- https://www.billygrahambookstore.org/fearless-family-devotionalWebsites Billy Graham Evangelistic AssociationBilly Graham Radio – https://billygrahamradio.orgSamaritan’s Purse – https://samaritanspurse.org/ Social Media Connect with me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.Billy Graham Evangelistic Association FacebookBilly Graham FacebookBilly Graham Radio Facebook

The Battle for Religious Freedom
Religious liberty is a bedrock of our values in the United States. It’s enshrined in the First Amendment to the Constitution. But the ability to freely exercise your Christian faith is under attack, both in culture and in courtrooms across the country. Fortunately, many of those challenges are being thwarted by the Alliance Defending Freedom, which has won 13 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. Kristen Waggoner is an attorney with the ADF and joins me on this episode to tell us about some of the battles they’ve been fighting—and why they’re important to you. Marxism: Do you know how it’s Impacting You?
From an American-born athlete choosing to represent China at the Olympics to racial conflict to divisions over gender, I believe everything we’re seeing happen in America right now is a form of Marxism. It’s impacting our daily lives—even in the home. But what is Marxism? And what dangers does it pose to you and your family? Retired Lieutenant General Jerry Boykin joins me on this episode of Fearless and lays out what you need to know about Marxism, as well as Communism and Socialism. General Boykin works with the Family Research Council and has fought enemies of the U.S.A. in battles around the world—including the Black Hawk Down incident in Somalia. Each of us needs to be ready to engage in the battle against Marxism right where we live, and General Boykin and I talk about how to do that. The most important part of that battle plan is remembering that our greatest hope lies in Jesus Christ. A Personal Story: How God Answered a Prayer in My Life
My grandmother, Ruth Graham, said when it comes to the salvation of our children, we are to take care of the possible and let God take care of the impossible. We can’t save their souls—only God can do that—but there are other things we can do. There is nothing more important than praying faithfully and intentionally for our children, grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Just as the calendar was about to flip from 2021 to 2022, I asked God for a word to guide my life for the next 12 months. His answer came just as I was about to go to sleep for the night: Prayer. In this episode, I will tell you a personal story of how—within a few days of giving me the word ‘prayer’—God answered a very precious prayer for me. I’ll also share a recap of my experience last month at the 49th March for Life and how you can pray for the pro-life movement and the important Supreme Court decision on Roe vs. Wade later this summer. Teaching Kids How to Think, not What to Think
Children are bombarded with bad ideas at a young age, everywhere from culture to schools to the Internet and even from some churches. As a result, they’re going to have questions about Christianity. Are you prepared to give and help them find good answers? My guest on this episode of Fearless can help us teach kids how to think, not what to think.J. Warner Wallace was a Los Angeles homicide detective who didn’t believe in God--until he applied his investigative skills to the claims of Jesus Christ. Now, as a follower of Christ, he offers very practical ways for adults and children to learn how to think, not what to think about truth and Christianity. I appreciate J. Warner Wallace’s insight, because as a mom, what I want more than anything is to know that my kids are walking with the Lord and walking in His truth. Fighting for Family in 2022
We face a world and culture that hates God, so, how do we raise children who love Jesus? The answer to that question, whether you’re a parent, a grandparent, an aunt or uncle or some other influential adult in a child’s life, is we have to be intentional. Intentional in praying for our children, intentional in spending time with them and intentional in spending time in God’s Word. Those are my goals for 2022.The Bible makes it very clear that God wants us and our children to have a deep knowledge of Him. It also warns us of what happens when we forget God. A lot of what I talk about in this episode comes from a new devotional I wrote. It’s called Fearless Family and there’s a link for it below. I hope what I share from this devotional helps you raise children who know and love God. A Changing World, But an Unchanging God
Show NotesThis year I’ve grown weary about some of the changes that have happened in my family and the continuing conversations about how things have changed in this country and around the world. Recently, I was driving down the road when I heard one of my grandfather’s sermons on the Billy Graham Channel on SiriusXM and it reminded me that despite the chaos and uncertainty, the nature of the God does not change. It reminded me that despite the chaos and uncertainty, the nature of the God does not change. So as we gather together to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, I hope that this podcast encourages you to cling to the Word of God this Christmas season. I Am Not Ashamed, I Have Considered the Cost – A Conversation with Michael Tait
Show NotesAs we continue to talk about the viciousness of cancel culture, Christians are increasingly facing a crossroads. Have we truly considered the cost of the cross? Are we prepared to risk it all in order to follow Jesus Christ? The Newsboys’ new song “Stand,” co-written by this week’s guest Michael Tait, encourages Christians to be unashamed, consider the cost and take a stand at the foot of the cross. It’s an anthem that fits this time in our culture, where being a Christian or a conservative can put a target on your back. We’re going to have to take a stand for truth. In the Crosshairs of Cancel Culture
What happens when you find yourself in the crosshairs of cancel culture? Are you willing to risk your job, friends and finances to stand boldly for Biblical principles? From celebrities to businesses and organizations, it’s almost impossible to escape the cancel culture mob, which seems to take great joy in tearing down others and destroying businesses and relationships. This battle can even become personal, as in the case of Chad and Bree Barela. The owners of two small businesses in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Chad and Bree were targeted by cancel culture after the couple declined to participate in a planned Black Lives Matter social media campaign in their local community. As a result, they lost thousands of dollars in business, their store was vandalized and they were attacked online.Chad and Bree’s experience is a reminder to everyone that standing strong for the Gospel is not easy nor is it without cost. On this episode of Fearless, listen in as Chad and Bree share their story about what it was like when cancel culture came for them and they had a choice, stand up fearlessly for their Biblical convictions or bend to the mob. Running into the Roar with Skip and Lenya Heitzig
Show NotesWelcome to FEARLESS! On this episode of Fearless I’m welcoming back one of my favorite pastors, Skip Heitzig, and his wife Lenya. They’ve been family friends for years, and I am so blessed to welcome them to Fearless to talk about how we can stand strong against the cultural giants we’re currently facing with confidence and the grace of God.The giants that we face in our culture, much like Goliath, can feel overwhelming and impossible to defeat. From the divisiveness in the church to the pandemic related lockdowns, it can be difficult to stand strong for the Gospel. But as people of faith, we are called to be a light to the world.“Somebody said, ‘Courage is just fear that has said its prayers,’” Skip said. “So, it’s time to harness your fears. Be courageous by getting on your knees and saying, ‘God, what do you want me to do now in light of this?’” Both Skip and Lenya have been a great encouragement to me and my family in so many ways over the years, and so I hope that this episode fills you with hope as you stand strong for the sake of the Gospel. How God Showed Up After Black Hawk Down
Show NotesWelcome to FEARLESS! On this episode of Fearless we’re commemorating Veterans Day and all of those men and women who have served our country. My special guest is Lieutenant General William ‘Jerry’ Boykin who’s been motivated by his faith and passion for this country to serve on the front lines. In our conversation, Boykin shares about his love for the U.S. military, how his father and several uncles served in World War II and the power of a praying mother. He also reflects on how he struggled with his faith and God after the Battle of Mogadishu, known by many as the Black Hawk Down incident, where 19 service members died and dozens were injured, including Boykin himself. “It broke me,” he told me. “I was really angry with God. And all I could think was, ‘God, why did you let this happen?’” Veterans Day is an opportunity to take a moment and thank those men and women who have dedicated their lives to our military and protecting our country. “Just live your faith,” Boykin said. “And God will take care of the rest. You live your faith and be faithful.”I’m so thankful for those veterans who have served on and off the battlefield, and especially Lt. Gen. Boykin for joining me today. I also want to thank my brother, Edward Graham, who spent 16 years in the U.S. Army and Special Operations. Are Science and Faith Compatible? Why Eric Metaxas Says Yes
Show NotesWelcome to FEARLESS! On this episode, I’m talking with New York Times bestselling author and dear friend Eric Metaxas about science, faith, Biblical archaeology and what’s happening in the church and culture. In our conversation, Eric shares some of the incredible discoveries that have been made in the fields of science and archaeology that point to Creation, the Bible’s historical accuracy and, most importantly, the existence of God. It’s all part of his new book, “Is Atheism Dead?”We also talk about the enduring legacy of his book “Bonhoeffer,” and how the story of German pastor and Nazi resistor Dietrich Bonhoeffer continues to resonate with us today. This podcast is a great reminder that we don’t need to be fearful of the times that we live in—nothing has taken God by surprise. A Fearless Faith Begins with Fear
Show NotesWelcome to FEARLESS! On this episode, we’re talking about how a fearless faith begins with fear. Over the years, I’ve come to understand that a fearless and sustaining faith can only come when we fear God. But what does it mean to fear? In the simplest terms, it means that we take God seriously. We respect Him, we obey Him, we submit to His discipline and we worship Him in awe. And there is a blessing and peace that comes when we fear the Lord.Proverbs 9:10 tells us that “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Join me on this episode of FEARLESS as we talk more about my concerns for the Church and what it means to have a faith centered on a foundational understanding that our God is a Holy God who deserves our love, honor, respect and, yes, even our fear. Show NotesWelcome to FEARLESS! This episode is one that I’ve been wanting to capture for a long time. My special guest this week is one of the greatest influences in my life, someone who I want everyone to know, and that’s my mom, Jane Graham.Over the years, so many people have asked questions about my mom. Special Episode 1 (53) – Edward Graham – A Soldier’s Memories of 9/11 and Afghanistan
Welcome to FEARLESS! I’m honored to have my brother Edward Graham as my guest with me for this unique episode of FEARLESS as we remember the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on 9/11 and the recent chaos in Afghanistan. My brother Edward served for 16 years in the military in special operations and was actually at West Point Military Academy on that terrible Tuesday morning. In many ways, his life and so many others were forever impacted by the terrorist attacks and he graduated knowing that he would spend his entire career fighting the war on terrorism. I’m so incredibly thankful for his service, and those of other members of our military. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of September 11, I’ve asked my brother to share about his time in the military, how the terror attacks changed the future of his military career and his thoughts about what is currently happening in Afghanistan. He also shares what Samaritan’s Purse is doing to help and support Afghans in need. If you’re listening to this podcast and you’re struggling with anxiety over the recent news of what’s happening in Afghanistan and around the world, there is hope. Despite the chaos of this world, God is sovereign and none of this took him by surprise. Those listening can call the Billy Graham Prayer Line at 888-388-2683, and someone will pray with you about anything going on in your life. We are also in continued prayers for those who lost family members during the September 11 attacks. Episode 52: A World in Chaos – A Conversation with Franklin Graham on Afghanistan and Remembering 9/11
Welcome back to Fearless! After a longer than anticipated summer break, I’m excited to continue sharing with you how we can engage the culture with a Fearless faith. Today my guest is my father, Franklin Graham. My family and I have been privileged for the last several years to serve alongside my father’s organization, Samaritan’s Purse, as they minister to military veterans and their spouses in Alaska through Operation Heal Our Patriots (OHOP). Through spiritual refreshment, physical renewal and marriage enrichment, we’ve seen miracles of the heart that only God could do with couples who are struggling in their marriages. I’m so incredibly thankful to be able to witness it and share some of it with you this week. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association was even able to send police officer couples for two weeks as well, ministering to those who have been wounded serving on the frontlines of our communities’ every day.But this week is heavy. Violence and chaos have engulfed Afghanistan, once again putting the country in the hands of the evil Taliban regime, which provided sanctuary to Osama bin Laden as he and al-Qaeda planned the 9/11 attacks that occurred 20 years ago next month. There’s also the recent earthquake in Haiti and the coronavirus pandemic. When 9/11 happened, my grandfather Billy Graham spoke to the nation at the National Cathedral. As part of his message, he said, “We’ve seen so much that brings tears to our eyes and makes us all feel a sense of anger. But God can be trusted, even when life seems at its darkest.”Billy Graham's 9/11 Message from the Washington National CathedralPlease join with me in lifting our nation and the world up in prayer during this dark time.Scripture ReferencedMatthew 5:13-16Route 66 – God Loves You Tour This fall, Franklin Graham will share the Good News from eight cities located on Route 66. Episode 51: Celebrate True Freedom This Fourth of July
As we’re getting ready to celebrate our nation’s 245th birthday, there are some Americans hate our country and reject the precious freedoms we enjoy. They think they’ll find a better freedom in socialism, Marxism or some other -ism that’s failed in other countries. They ignore how America has led the fight for freedom both here and around the world. The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. It reminds me of the importance of our nation’s freedoms and an even greater freedom—the one Jesus offers us from sin. This is the last episode of Fearless until August. Episode 50: Legacy Series—Facing Fear With an Eternal Perspective
It’s easy to get anxious or fearful about what’s going on in culture—not only for ourselves but for our children. This happened to me recently, and then I listened to a few of my grandfather, Billy Graham’s, messages. Daddy Bill’s sermons reminded me of the importance of having a heavenly mindset, especially when it seems chaos is everywhere. So, I decided to do another installment of my Legacy series, in which I share some of the Christian life lessons I learned from my grandfather. And from my grandmother, Ruth Graham, too. This is the 50th episode and two year anniversary of Fearless, so I’ll also talk about how Fearless came about—or, actually, how it almost didn’t.Scripture Referenced:Romans 1:16Philippians 3Colossians 31 Peter 1:3-4 Going Farther: Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Prayer Line – 888-388-2683, or online: https://lp.billygraham.org/coronavirus-call-line/“The Heaven Answer Book” by Billy Graham – https://www.billygrahambookstore.org/the-heaven-answer-bookWebsites:Billy Graham Evangelistic Association -- https://billygraham.org/Billy Graham Radio – https://billygrahamradio.orgSamaritan’s Purse – https://samaritanspurse.org/Social Media: Cissie Graham Lynch Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/CissieGrahamLynchCissie Graham Lynch Instagram -- https://www.instagram.com/cissiegrahamlynch/ Cissie Graham Lynch Twitter -- https://twitter.com/CissieGLynchBilly Graham Evangelistic Association Facebook -- https://www.facebook.com/BillyGrahamEvangelisticAssociation/ Billy Graham Facebook -- https://www.facebook.com/ReverendBillyGraham/ Billy Graham Radio Facebook -- https://www.facebook.com/billygrahamradio/

Episode 49: Progressive Christianity: Is It ‘Another Gospel?’
It’s easy to think progressive Christianity is characterized by a focus on social issues and emphasizing God’s love and mercy. But it’s more dangerous than that. As my guest, Alisa Childers, discovered, leaders of progressive Christianity want to deconstruct the historical Christian faith--and take others with them. She’s written a book titled “Another Gospel?”Alisa was a member of the Christian band Zoe Girl. After the band broke up so the members could raise their families, Alisa joined a Bible study to grow deeper in her faith. Instead, she discovered the pastor leading the group was encouraging its members to abandon Biblical truths. On this episode of Fearless, we will discuss the core differences between historic and progressive Christianity--and how to recognize progressive Christianity. College campuses are being overwhelmed by liberalism and anti-God rhetoric, but there is a wave of bold and compassionate students taking a fearless stand for life. However, with a liberal pro-choice president in the White House, changing political policy is going to be even harder. Kristan says that 79% of Planned Parenthood clinics are within five miles of a college campus and that 52% of abortion-seeking women are under the age of 25. But along with the disturbing facts about abortion and Planned Parenthood, she also shares encouraging stories and helpful tactics. And Kristan explains why if we want to end abortion we have to start with young people. Episode 47: Israel: Understanding Why It Matters with Skip Heitzig
Israel isn’t much bigger than New Jersey and it’s home to only about nine million people, but it’s one of the most important--and criticized—countries in the world. American evangelical Christians have been one of Israel’s closest allies for decades, but do you know why? Do you know the Biblical significance of Israel today?Skip Heitzig’s understanding of this Jewish nation runs deep and he joined me on this episode to explain what you need to know about historic and modern Israel. Skip has lived in Israel and visited it 41 times. He’s also the senior pastor of Calvary Church of Albuquerque and a good friend of my family.Scripture Referenced:Isaiah 11:11, 66Psalm 2Jeremiah 33:3Romans 11Genesis 3, 6Revelation 12Matthew 22 Samuel & 1 Chronicles (The Promise to David)Ezekiel 5Daniel 11Going Farther:Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Prayer Line – 888-388-2683, or online: https://lp.billygraham.org/coronavirus-call-line/Bloodline: Tracing God’s Rescue Plan from Eden to Eternity, by Skip Heitzig -- https://shop.calvaryabq.org/mm5/merchant.mvc?Session_ID=f453b4ab250b1961cb0d93ccc97b5529&Store_Code=CALVARY&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=B531Biography of God, by Skip Heitzig -- https://shop.calvaryabq.org/mm5/merchant.mvc?Session_ID=f453b4ab250b1961cb0d93ccc97b5529&Store_Code=CALVARY&Screen=PROD&Product_Code=B542Websites:Billy Graham Evangelistic Association -- https://billygraham.org Billy Graham Radio – https://billygrahamradio.orgSamaritan’s Purse – https://samaritanspurse.org/7 Days in the Holy Land with Franklin Graham and Cissie Graham Lynch -- https://billygraham.org/video/7-days-in-the-holy-land/Connect with Skip Heitzig -- https://connectwithskip.com/Social Media:Cissie Graham Lynch Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/CissieGrahamLynchCissie Graham Lynch Instagram -- https://www.instagram.com/cissiegrahamlynch/Cissie Graham Lynch Twitter -- https://twitter.com/CissieGLynchBilly Graham Evangelistic Association Facebook --

Episode 46: Your Questions—My Answers
Recently many of you have sent me questions through social media, and I’m answering them on this episode of Fearless. They cover a wide range of topics, from our kids’ education, to Bible studies, engaging with people on politics, and even the royal family. Some of the questions are fun and some are tough, but they’re all thought provoking and important. I hope you enjoy listening to them as much as I enjoyed answering them.Scripture Referenced:· Daniel 11:32 · Psalm 89· Jeremiah 4· Deuteronomy 6· Matthew 5:37· Hosea 4:6Going Farther:Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Prayer Line – 888-388-2683, or online: https://lp.billygraham.org/coronavirus-call-line/Websites: Billy Graham Evangelistic Association -- https://billygraham.org/Billy Graham Radio – https://billygrahamradio.orgSamaritan’s Purse – https://samaritanspurse.org/Decision Magazine - https://decisionmagazine.com/Social MediaCissie Graham Lynch Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/CissieGrahamLynchCissie Graham Lynch Instagram -- https://www.instagram.com/cissiegrahamlynch/Cissie Graham Lynch Twitter -- https://twitter.com/CissieGLynchBilly Graham Evangelistic Association Facebook -- https://www.facebook.com/BillyGrahamEvangelisticAssociation/ Billy Graham Facebook -- https://www.facebook.com/ReverendBillyGraham/ Billy Graham Radio Facebook -- https://www.facebook.com/billygrahamradio/

Episode 45: Easter and the Good News of Jesus – with Will Graham
Every year we celebrate Easter but it’s easy to forget why it’s so significant. Especially in a world that is constantly trying to distract you from the holiness of God, the price Jesus paid for us on the cross and the power of the resurrection. In this episode I sat down with my brother Will Graham. Episode 43: Social Justice, Critical Race Theory--and Biblical Truth
Show Notes: There’s a lot of confusion in churches and among Christians regarding many issues. The enemy can use confusion to divide, but God gives us wisdom and understanding through His Word. Two of the most troubling issues I see needing to be addressed within the Church are social justice and Critical Race Theory. I’ve asked Darrell Harrison and Virgil Walker of the “Just Thinking” podcast to help us look at these concepts from a Biblical perspective. Not only has culture lost sight of what truth is, many churches and pastors have even abandoned Biblical truth. Episode 40: Unity With the World – Is it Possible?
Show Notes:On this episode of Fearless, I’m talking about the word, “unity.” It’s been the subject of speeches and headlines, but—at a time when it feels like our country has never been more divided—is unity even possible? In today’s culture, “unity” has been tossed around so much that it’s lost its meaning. It’s worth considering what the word “unity” means, and how we can find it.True unity can only be found in Jesus Christ. The world has rejected Jesus, and therefore rejected unity. However, Jesus calls the Church to be an example of unity. Now, more than ever, the Church can show the world the truth of Jesus Christ through its unity. Episode 39: United We Stand for Life with special guest Jeanne Mancini.
UPDATE: March For Life organizers have decided to make the 2021 March a virtual event. The decision was announced on the afternoon of January 15, after this episode of Fearless was recorded and posted. Make plans to join from the VIRTUAL March for Life from your home, your office, or wherever you are on January 29, 2021.The pro-life issue isn’t reserved for certain people — it is a fight that concerns us all and one we can all take part in. My heart was convicted of this last year after attending the March for Life for the first time. It’s a day which changed my life. It’s easy to be in the fight when the current administration is also fighting for life, but there are people and organizations that have been on the front lines even when it’s been hard. One of those people is Jeanne Mancini, the president of March for Life and a fierce pro-life advocate. In this episode of Fearless I had the privilege of speaking with Jeanne about the organization March for Life, and how it’s actively fighting for the rights of the unborn. I hope you are encouraged to join the fight by attending the virtual March for Life event on January 29, 2021. marchforlife.comScripture Referenced:1 Corinthians 12:12-27Going Farther:Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Prayer Line – 888-388-2683, or online: https://lp.billygraham.org/coronavirus-call-line/Jeanne’s Article in The National Review--https://www.nationalreview.com/2020/12/becerra-would-be-a-radical-pro-abortion-warrior-at-hhs/?itm_source=parsely-apiWebsites:March For Life website -- https://marchforlife.org/Fearless Website – https://cissiegrahamlynch.com/ Billy Graham Evangelistic Association -- https://billygraham.org/Billy Graham Radio – www.billygrahamradio.orgSamaritan’s Purse – https://samaritanspurse.org/ Connect with me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter:https://www.facebook.com/CissieGrahamLynchhttps://www.instagram.com/cissiegrahamlynch/https://twitter.com/CissieGLynch

Episode 37: Do Not Be Afraid – A Christmas Message
Show NotesChristmas is just a few days away. One tradition that I started last year with my family is a photo album – with real printed photos – of the past year. As I was looking back at the photos from 2020, I felt grateful for more time spent with my family. I know not many people will look back at 2020 the same way. But I am reminded this Christmas week, that if we know God’s Word and have confidence in it, we can be assured that the Lord is with us. Mary’s story tells us this exact same message: Nothing is impossible with God. Show NotesNovember 11 is Veterans Day, a special day to remember and honor all of those who have served in our military. In light of this day, I sat down with a very special guest, my brother Edward Graham, who is a veteran himself.Edward graduated from the United States Military Academy, also known as West Point, in 2003, just two years after 9/11. He served in eight combat deployments within special operations forces, and recently left his beloved military career to serve alongside my dad, Franklin Graham, at Samaritan’s Purse. In this episode of Fearless, we talk about what Veterans Day means for those who served in the military, how Edward’s faith in Jesus Christ affected his mission, and ways that he and his fellow veterans can continue to serve the United States with the skills they’ve been given by God. Episode 34: Win or Lose, Trusting God with the Election Results
Show NotesThe 2020 elections have been said to be one of the most pivotal elections of our lifetime. Many experts have even said that it is the most critical since the election of Abraham Lincoln. As I was sitting in my quiet house on the eve of Election Day, I was wondering what my message would be when we found out the results. I was reminded of 2 Chronicles 20, when Jehoshaphat turned to God – this battle is not ours, it belongs to God. No matter who wins or loses, my message, my job, and my passions will remain the same. This year hasn’t taken God by surprise. The next days and weeks might be shocking to us, yet no matter the results the sun will still rise and God will still sit on His Throne. Episode 33: 2 Parties, 2 Visions for America – Who Will Govern You?
Show NotesI’ve always been passionate about religion and politics, but I know that not everyone my age, especially Christian millennials, shares the same sentiments towards this topic. Someone even once told me that he didn’t believe Christians should have roles in politics. In this episode I want to encourage you not to look at the word ‘politics,’ but let’s look at it as ‘governance’ and who will govern over you. Right now, we have two political parties fighting over how they will govern us.40 million evangelicals did not vote in 2016, and many said it’s because they did not love either candidate. As I hear that again this year, I want to remind you that love has never been the standard regarding who we vote for. The standard is the policies that a candidate represents and their ability to lead this country.Whether or not you love a certain candidate, as Christians and as Americans, we have been given the opportunity to vote in order to protect our families, our neighbors, and our freedoms. With the 2020 election just around the corner, this episode of the #FearlessPodcast addresses some things I want to encourage you to think about as you prepare to head to the polls.Social MediaMany people are weary of the political climate as we near the 2020 election, and like 2016 when 40 million evangelicals didn’t vote, I hear the same conversations happening today. Episode 32: Indoctrination Through Education | School Board Meeting Follow-Up
I started my last social media post with a statement: “Recognizing a group which has overcome a lot of barriers.”In our county in Florida, where my children attend school, the idea was proposed to “celebrate” LGBTQ+ History Month in schools where kids of all ages would be taught this sexual ideology.I have been talking about taking a stand for the education of our children a lot lately. Being a mom and a Christian with a public platform, I receive letters from parents all across the country who have great concern over what their kids are being taught in schools.Recently, I received a message from a grandmother of a fourth grader after a book was sent home about two boys falling in love and kissing. We have seen in Virginia schools where there have been books about LGBT in kindergarten. When this issue came to my own doorstep this week, I had to practice what I preach. Why has sexual ideology become the forefront of educational endeavors? And why would you introduce teaching something like sexuality to kindergarten-aged kids that can’t even tie their own shoes? Why do school districts want to take the place of parents?I address these questions, my experience this week at my local school board meeting, and my suggestions for how we should approach this on the #FearlessPodcast.Scripture ReferencedEphesians 5:15-16John 1:17Going FartherWhy states need to ditch mandatory ‘LGBT history’ education programs – https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/why-states-need-to-ditch-mandatory-lgbt-history-education-programsVirginia School District to Keep LGBTQ Children’s Books – https://decisionmagazine.com/virginia-school-district-to-keep-lgbtq-childrens-books/Billy Graham sermon, “Educational problems in America” – https://billygraham.org/audio/educational-problems-in-america/Websites:Billy Graham Evangelistic Association — https://billygraham.org/Billy Graham Radio — https://billygraham.org/tv-and-radio/radio/Samaritan’s Purse — https://samaritanspurse.org/Facebooks:Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BillyGrahamEvangelisticAssociation/Billy Graham Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ReverendBillyGraham/Billy Graham Radio Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/billygrahamradio/

Episode 31: Indoctrination through Education | Will We Fight for Our Kids?
Show NotesAs Christian parents, it’s important that we know what our school system is teaching our children. I believe that we are in a battle, a spiritual war, for our children’s hearts, minds, and souls in this country. We need to be prepared to stand up for our children and speak biblical truth into their lives. Will we sit back and allow the secular left to win our children over, or are we going to fight for them?On today’s episode of Fearless, I’ve invited my friend Todd Chasteen, Vice President of Public Policy and Corporate Counsel at Samaritan's Purse, to discuss these educational issues and help encourage you in truth as you advocate for your children.Scripture Referenced• Deuteronomy 6:4-9• Romans 3:28• Acts 17• Psalm 128:3Going Farther• Philadelphia School Teacher Worries about ‘Conservative’ Parents Listening in on Virtual Classes – www.foxnews.com/us/philadelphia-p…n-virtual-classes• Harper Collins Publishers – The Content of Our Character by Shelby Steele – www.harpercollins.com/products/the-c…32116701003810• Monique Duson – Say No to Critical Race Theory -- www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=…&feature=youtu.be• Yale Daily News – Faculty Call for Ideological Diversity – yaledailynews.com/blog/2019/12/06/…gical-diversity/• Just Thinking Podcast with Darryl Harrison and Virgil Walker – justthinking.me/Websites:• Billy Graham Evangelistic Association -- billygraham.org/• Billy Graham Radio -- billygraham.org/tv-and-radio/radio/• Samaritan’s Purse -- samaritanspurse.org/• 1776 Unites – 1776unites.com/• J. Episode 29: Faith Through Fear | An interview with Andrew and Norine Brunson
Most of us will never know what true persecution is. Pastor Andrew Brunson and his wife Norine do. They were arrested and imprisoned in Turkey — where they planted a church and served for more than 20 years — because of their religious beliefs. After two years, Andrew Brunson was released from prison. I had the chance to sit down with the Brunsons a few weeks ago in Alaska. At the time, I didn't know that Andrew and I would stand on the national stage this week during the Republican National Convention, he talking about his release from prison in Turkey and I talking about religious freedom. When I asked Andrew Brunson to join me on the #FearlessPodcast, his answer is one that I did not expect – I think you’ll be shocked at what his reply was.Scripture Referenced•Isaiah 11•Hebrews 13:3Going Farther•Decision Magazine – Articles on Andrew Brunson https://decisionmagazine.com/search/andrew+brunson/ •God’s Hostage: A true story of persecution, imprisonment, and perseverance https://www.godshostagebook.com/ Websites:•Billy Graham Evangelistic Association -- https://billygraham.org/•Billy Graham Radio -- https://billygraham.org/tv-and-radio/radio/•Samaritan’s Purse -- https://www.samaritanspurse.org/ Facebooks:•Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BillyGrahamEvangelisticAssociation/•Billy Graham Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ReverendBillyGraham/•Billy Graham Radio Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/billygrahamradio/

Episode 28: Adventure will have Adversity - An interview with Tammie Jo Shults
Show NotesNerves of Steel. That’s how many people described Tammie Jo Shults in 2018 after she landed a Southwest Airlines plane that had lost an engine. Episode 27: Seems Right; But Is It Righteous?: America in Turmoil
Show NotesWe live in a time where our country–our world–needs healing and reconciliation. Since I started the #FearlessPodcast, my desire has been to help Christians navigate their faith through an ever-changing and ever-compromising culture. Today, I am once again challenging Christians to know what they believe and why they believe it – and to know the facts and truth of the organizations they support; to know that we are giving our time, money, and attention to God-honoring issues and platforms. Episode 15: Standing for Life in a Secular World
Show NotesMost Christians would take a stance as pro-life. But are you able to stand on a platform and discuss what you believe and why you believe it? This week marks the 47th anniversary of Roe vs Wade. Abortion is such a controversial topic, with far-left Democrats going so far as saying they would murder newborn babies. We need to be able to defend our position on why the sanctity of life is so important. Listen to my new Fearless episode, where I address this polarizing topic and discussing how to have a conversation as a Christian and in a secular world about why abortion goes against God’s Word. The 47th March for Life is this Friday in Washington D.C. and in cities across the country. Episode 14: Christians and Politics
Show NotesIt’s 2020 – an election year. Many people think Christians should not speak about politics. I disagree. It is our responsibility as Christians to address issues from a biblical perspective. I’ve traveled the world through my work with Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and seen countries where people don’t have the have the right to vote or have a voice on politics. We have the right and responsibility many others do not, so it’s up to us to learn—to gain knowledge that’s available at our fingertips—on the issues and candidates to make informed decisions about issues. Today I am talking about this and how I believe we not only should, but also need to, engage in political and religious conversation – remembering to have those conversations full of grace, truth and love.Scripture Referenced•Luke 19:41-44•Proverbs 16:16•Matthew 5:13-16•John 15:18-25•Matthew 10:34•Romans 13•Jeremiah 29•1 Timothy•Exodus 18:21Going FartherAPP: Calvary Church – Skip Heitzig https://apps.apple.com/us/app/calvary-abq-with-skip-heitzig/id529608062?ls=1Skip Heitzig: Christians and Politics – Jeremiah 29:1-13 http://www.calvaryabq.org/teachings_view.asp?ServiceID=4109Billy Graham’s Answer – Should the Church get involved in politics?https://billygraham.org/answer/should-the-church-get-involved-in-politics/Billy Graham on God, Politics, and the Gospel - https://billygraham.org/audio/billy-graham-on-god-politics-and-the-gospel/4 Truths from Franklin Graham About Prayer and Politics - https://billygraham.org/story/4-truths-from-franklin-graham-about-prayer-and-politics/ Two Reasons Why Religion and Politics Cannot Be Separated - https://billygraham.org/story/two-reasons-why-religion-and-politics-cannot-be-separated/

Show NotesWe live in a society that is very pro-women right now. But, how do we do what’s best for us from a biblical perspective? The last few years have been difficult for me in trying to find balance – of being a wife first, then a mom, and doing the work I feel like God has called me to do – all while honoring God. Show NotesI’m often asked questions ranging from my personal opinions to spiritual guidance to memories from my childhood, and everything in between. So, I recently asked my podcast listeners to submit questions and today I’m sitting down with my colleague to answer them. This episode was a little outside my comfort zone, but I’m thankful for the opportunity to grow on this journey, and I hope you enjoy it as well.

Episode 10: When We Are Not Fearless
Show NotesI was convicted after a recent episode with my dad about how we approach those who maybe haven’t stood fearless under persecution. If we’re honest, we all fail daily. And there have probably been many times – both big and small – in our own lives where we have not been courageous when we are talking about or living out our faith. In today’s episode, we’re doing things a little differently. We will be doing more of a Bible study to see what the Scripture says about times when we haven’t been bold and stood fearless in our faith. Episode 8: Cissie Graham Lynch & Franklin Graham – Fearless Faith
Show NotesWhile in Alaska this summer working for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Heal Our Patriots, I had the opportunity to sit down and interview my dad, Franklin Graham. We talked about Alaska and how our family started going there more than two decades ago, sharing the Gospel even when it might be difficult, the ministries of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan's Purse, and always having a fearless faith. You’ll hear about times dad refused to compromise for the sake of fitting in with cultural norms and his reflections on his parents—my grandparents—Billy and Ruth Graham. One thing that really stood out to me is a challenge to not be critical of those who might not have the courage to stand strong when faced with opposition; because we will all face persecution at some time. Jesus said, “you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you” (John 15:19). My hope is that our conversation will encourage you to look at how you too can be bold for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how God can use anyone in all walks of life for His glory. Episode 7: Cissie Graham Lynch & J. Warner Wallace – Investigating Truth
Show NotesI’m part of a generation that wants answers. A few years ago I started questioning; not what I believed, but why. I was fortunate to grow up in a home with parents who reinforced a Christian worldview. I studied the Bible. But I wanted to be able to define not just what I believed, I also wanted to be able to give an explanation and give guidance to where others could find the same truth. Today on the #FearlessPodcast I’m talking to someone who is an expert on this. J Warner Wallace was a Los Angeles Homicide Detective and “unbelieving husband” who did his own investigation into this very topic. In our conversation, we talk about Truth and why it’s important for us to have practical tools to be able to give a reason for our faith. Episode 6: Taking a Stand in the Classroom
We live in a time when God has been removed from our schools. And college campuses are becoming more and more hostile toward Christians and conservatives. Universities used to be places we went to stretch our wings and be opened up to different points of view and to learn who we are. Those same schools now want to tell us who we should be, to the point that students feel endangered if they have an opposing point of view. In today’s world, students have to learn how to stand their ground and be prepared. No matter what level of school you’re in – or if you’re like me and that seems like a lifetime ago – fear has no age category. There are times where it can be intimidating and scary to take a stand for the Lord. But we are all called to stand boldly and unashamed of the Gospel.Scripture ReferencedDaniel 3:16-28Daniel 6:16-242 Timothy 4:2-3Eph. 6:11Going FartherBerkeley Student Senator Stands Strong Amid Scorn - https://billygraham.org/decision-magazine/december-2018/berkeley-student-senator-stands-strong-amid-scorn/How To Share Your Faith - https://billygraham.org/grow-your-faith/how-to-share-your-faith/tools/Keeping the Faith in College: Advice for Students - https://billygraham.org/story/keeping-the-faith-in-college/5 Back to School Answers from Billy Graham - https://billygraham.org/story/5-back-to-school-answers-from-billy-graham/Ruth Bell Graham’s poem: A Prayer to Persevere - https://decisionmagazine.com/a-prayer-to-preserve/ABC Gospel - https://s3.amazonaws.com/static.samaritanspurse.org/occ/images/occ-childrens-resources/printable/11135-occ-gospel-alphabet.pdfCissie Graham Lynch: Standing Strong with Jesus - https://billygraham.org/decision-magazine/september-2018/cissie-graham-lynch-standing-strong-with-jesus/

Episode 5: Cissie & Corey Lynch―Faith On and Off the Football Field
For the first time ever, my husband Corey Lynch and I sit down to talk about our life in the NFL. Corey shares stories from his time at Appalachian State University and in the NFL playing college and professional football. And we also discussed how we met, pressures of the world, how the NFL blessed us beyond imagination, and how to have uncompromising faith no matter what mission field you are placed on.

Episode 4: Lessons Learned from My Dad
This week is my dad’s birthday.

Episode 3: Criticism in the Church
A few years ago my dad challenged my brothers and I to not be critical of other people’s ministries. This is something that I’ve been convicted of recently, as I believe we see more and more Christians attacking each other publicly, in places like social media and even from the pulpit. We may have concerns with a leader or ministry— and the Bible tells us how that should be handled― but when we let our words attack and tear down others in the church Satan wins the battle. My dad has often said, “We have more in common than we don’t,” and I believe we as Christians need to start reflecting on what God has called each of us to do instead of allowing division to destroy the church. Today on Fearless, I’m discussing the importance of why Christians should stop attacking other Christians and what the Bible says about this important topic.

Episode 2: Homosexuality & the Church
This is a difficult subject for episode #2. It’s hard to miss the fact that it’s Pride Month. We see it in advertising on TV and online, and hear it in messages on the radio and in conversations. Many retailers even display “pride” sections in their stores and change their logos to display a rainbow for the month. This is a personal subject for me and many others and too often we are afraid to offend. We all know someone living in a homosexual lifestyle. They are our family members, co-workers, neighbors and friends. These are people in our lives that we love and share so much with. Why have so many in the church failed to address this tough subject which affects so many of us from a biblical perspective? So why are we afraid to speak truth when it comes to sin? Today on Fearless I am talking about this sensitive subject – one that many people don’t know how to navigate.Find more resources on this and other topics at http://billygraham.org.
