We were made on purpose for a purpose, yet we are tempted to waste our lives. So how do we uncover the purpose we are all dying for?

“The Holy Spirit comes and prays for us — instead of praying for a thing to be fixed, He wants to fix us.” This Sunday, Pastor Ryan Schlachter shared a message on Better Hope, and how hope helps us make sense of the world around us, because we can look ahead to eternity to endure our current circumstances.

Author Philip Yancey once said, “If I could sum up the whole Bible in one statement it would be this: God gets his family back." From Genesis to Revelations, the entire biblical drama involves what was lost being found, like the parable of the lost son in Luke 15. This Sunday, Pastor Filmore unpacked our perception of identity and how the truest thing about us is our identity as a child of God.

This week, Kevin Smigielski shared on the power of having a Better Mind in Christ. What are we setting our minds on? Are we setting our minds on the flesh, the circumstances of our lives and the opinions of others, or are we setting our minds on Jesus? As his followers, we have the mind of Christ, and we are no longer bound by our circumstances and other people. So let us set our minds on Jesus, and let the Holy Spirit transform us by renewing our minds daily.

What will you choose? Romans 6:16 points out that we can surrender to sin or surrender to God—but we’re all surrendered to something. In this message, David Chan shares the beauty of surrendering fully to God. There is no limited to what God can do in and through a yielded vessel.

"Freedom is free, but it takes work to walk in it. Our automatic is to let sin reign - we have to retrain ourselves in the things of God so we can step into practical freedom.” After salvation breaks us from the penalty of sin, how do we become free from the power of sin? This Sunday, Pastor Janel Navran shared a message on how we can walk in true freedom and the process of sanctification — what it takes to unlearn our automatic patterns of living in bondage.

Join us in our new BETTER NOW series as we kick off in Romans 5, looking at the good news of how humanity's ruin is followed by Christ's rescue and a new reign of grace. Our old life, inherited from Adam's sin in Genesis 3, is nothing in comparison to what we've been given freely in Christ!

This past Sunday, guest Pastor Dan Lian shared with our church some of misunderstandings about the character of who God is. As we take a look at Luke 15 with the Parable of the Lost Sheep, we can see that God is concerned with our return to Him as He chases after us and carries us home.

Jesus doesn't call us to be customers, He calls us to be partners in spreading the gospel. Partners are committed no matter the benefit to them. This Generosity Sunday, Ps. Filmore shared a message on why we give, and how it transforms not only our hearts, but furthers God’s mission.

As believers, we are united together in Christ and loved by our Heavenly Father; and the world will know we are sons and daughters of God by our love for one another. This past Fourth of July Sunday, Filmore Bouldes concluded our CHURCH IS: series with CHURCH IS: God’s Family.

As believers, we are on a mission to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love others as we love ourselves. This Sunday, Ryan Schlachter preached on how CHURCH IS: A People on a Mission –– a mission to make disciples of all the nations: disciples who will also love God and others. God has called us to do these things, and we do them for God’s glory.

A great church is made up of people who embody forgiveness. This Sunday, Filmore Bouldes preached on how CHURCH IS: A People of Forgiveness. We can forgive when the memory of the sacrificial love and grace of Jesus is a stronger memory than our pain. We need His Holy Spirit power in us in order to see His fruit in our lives and truly impact and change the world around us!

This Sunday, Pastor Janel Navran preached a message on how CHURCH IS: Friendship! In a city coming back to life, we have the opportunity as God’s people to invite others into the love of Christ through community and friendship. This takes boldness, commitment and sacrifice. As John 13:35 says, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Boldness is available to all, it comes from our relationship with the Lord. The Lord is reminding us to use the boldness He has given. This Sunday, David Chan shared a powerful message on the boldness we receive through the Holy Spirit. This boldness is not determined by our personality, or age or our background, it is available to all of us because of who Jesus is. Let us take on the boldness from the Holy Spirit to impact the world around us this week.

Prayer is a conversation and encounter with God that has power over people’s lives. It is an opportunity to learn more about God and declare our love for him. It has the ability to change us and establish God as our utmost priority. Prayer brings peace and can lead to miracles. This Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes shared on how we are a church devoted to prayer. By committing to the habit of prayer, our desires will begin to change, as our cravings are indicators of our habits.

The Holy Spirit and the church go hand-in-hand; they’re intertwined. As such, we cannot be the church that Jesus calls us to be without the Holy Spirit He has given to us. Jesus gives Him to us as a gift for the purpose of building up the church through us. So, to fully utilize this gift, we must learn about and understand the Holy Spirit. This Sunday, Pastor Ryan Schlachter shared on the Holy Spirit who convicts, empowers, and comforts us.

We are called to live on purpose, to live on the mission Jesus has laid out in front of us. That purpose is to make disciples, to live like Him and let our life reflect His glory. Pastor Filmore Bouldes shares a powerful message on how following a life after Jesus gives us purpose. This true purpose for our lives is to live as disciples and to make disciples in the world around us.

The Lord will never leave you alone. He is near to the brokenhearted, and He is here with you, right now, in any situation you are facing. When we surrender our circumstances and our emotions to Jesus, He transforms our vision, and in exchange, He gives us His love, presence, mercy, and comfort. We can look to Jesus today in whatever situation we find ourselves, and He will meet us there to hold our hands as He walks with us through it. This Sunday David Chan shared a powerful message on the transformation we have in Jesus. 

God uses the storms of life to soften hard hearts. The shaking from the storms breaks up the ground and foundations to rebuild our faith and trust in Jesus. He uses our fear, showing up in the midst of it, as a gateway by which to have us receive His Spirit. This Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey shared a message out of John 20 of Jesus showing up in our fear and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Guest Pastor Simon McIntyre shares at our C3 NYC staff meeting for staff and leaders on praying through the psalms and how the psalms connect to our our every day life. There is a psalm for every human emotion and these words were intended for us to read aloud and sing aloud to God. As we build a consistency life of prayer to God, our lives will be more honest and more filled up with God's word and heart for us rather than just led by our human emotions and circumstances.

Jesus does not wait for you to get out of your despair to bring you joy, He meets you in your despair and injects joy. Pastor Ryan Schlachter shares in our ENCOUNTERS series of how Jesus meets us in our despair and restores our joy. The joy that Christ brings is not one from the world, not one that can be taken away, it’s forever and we have access always.

We all have those moments of life that we wish we could get back; moments where we wish we could have a delete button. These moments can lead us to shame—not just feeling guilty for what we’ve done, but feeling guilty for who we are. As a result, we may withdraw, but no amount of hiding from our shame will make it disappear. The only way to overcome shame is for Jesus to meet us in it, restore us in it, and replace our shame with purpose. Pastor Filmore Bouldes shares on how Jesus meets us in our shame and restores us. 

Thomas’ nickname was “Twin”, which fits because, in a way, he is a twin to all of humanity; we can all relate to him in having seasons where it’s hard to believe. But just because we have doubts doesn’t mean we are disqualified from all the things He wants to do in our lives. Even in our doubting, He wants to encounter us, and He’ll present the scars for us to recognize Him by. Pastor Filmore Bouldes kicks off our new series: ENCOUNTERS sharing on how Jesus meets us in our doubt.

When Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were going out to visit the tomb, they had very little expectation, very little hope. But we can get our hopes up this Easter. Because we can trust in Jesus, for He keeps His word, having risen just as He said He would. And because He is risen, not just alive then but alive now, we get to interact with and be influenced by Him in the here and now. Pastor Filmore Bouldes shares this Easter at C3 NYC of the difference the resurrection makes in our lives.

The Israelites were set free, but they were unclear how they would get through the Red Sea and then God parted the waters . Every human will have a Red Sea moment. An opportunity for an Exodus, a way of getting out. We are in chains apart from Christ. We are all trying to get out of slavery, bondage, shame, guilt, fear, our past. No matter how much we swim on our own we can’t get out. On Good Friday God parted the waters for us. Jesus became our Exodus, our way out. Hear Pastor Josh's Good Friday message about the way Jesus made for us.

Guest Pastor Dan Lian brings a powerful message about how Jesus can restore our joy through His presence! Joy is the natural fruit of Jesus. It’s the extension of His presence, and when we look at life through the lens of gratitude, we find we experience more joy with Him.

God does not work according to our will but His will. God has a word for us in the middle of what we’re facing today. He’s just waiting for our faith. Pastor Josh Kelsey shares a powerful word on the story of Lazarus about what God is doing 'in the middle' seasons of our lives. In the middle, there’s still something for us to do. Jesus gave the Word but we still need to roll away the stone!

When you are planted by faith in Christ, you will flourish in every season. Pastor Josh Kelsey shares out of Psalm 92 “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree.” Let us take on this message and grow deeper roots in Christ so that we may flourish in every season. As we trust in Him we gain His righteousness and are able to live in strength just like a palm tree weathering a storm, we will not be wavered by the world around us. 

We live from the health of our soul. Out of the overflow of our inner world is how we will relate to those around us. God wants us to direct our soul. If we want a healthy soul the greatest and highest praise in our inner most being should go to the One who created us. Pastor Filmore Bouldes shares a powerful message on the health of our soul from Psalm 103.    

Pastor Josh Kelsey shares an impactful word on Psalm 16 on God being our refuge, our Lord and our counselor. God is our wonderful counselor. He wants to counsel you in all your decisions, and we will not discover the safe refuge in God unless we see Him as our counselor. Let us run to Him and let Him guide our lives so that we can continue to live and lead from a place of victory to attract many to His great love in our city! 

Pastor Josh shares a powerful message in our C3 NYC Staff meeting out of Psalm 23 and the seat Jesus has prepared for us. As we read Psalm 23 and know that Jesus is our Shepherd and that we are all sheep, God doesn’t want to just keep us in a sheep mindset, but to step into a kings mindset when we accept Him and follow Him. He invites us to the table where we have a seat and are anointed by Him. As we trust God in the valley and hear our way out, we will see we have a seat at the table.   

Pastor Josh Kelsey continues in our Show Me the Way series with part two of a message out of Psalm 23. Even when we are in the valley seasons of our lives, God's presence and His voice give us a way out. Darkness cannot turn the volume down on God's voice and His voice gives vision even when we can't see.

This Sunday Pastor Filmore Bouldes shared a powerful word centered on Jesus’ teaching on the sermon on the mount sharing that blessed are the peacemakers. When we fix our eyes on Jesus we can be reminded of how He endured the cross because of the joy that was set before Him which is now complete on the inside of us. We can deal with and fight through whatever may come, not because we are good but because He is so good. At our first ALLIN Team Night for 2021, guest Pastor Robert Madu shared a powerful leadership message with keys for starting this year strong as a leader. Leaders don't forget to remember that we are called to problems because we are called to people, that compassion activates the miraculous and to always ask the right questions.

When you start bowing down to other voices, you stop there. You can’t see the future. God is looking for a generation of people who are standing for what they believe, He’s looking for our heart and our worship. He must be first in all areas including our finances so that He is who we look to to guide us and sustain us.   

One touch from God will always bring freedom. One word from heaven can break any chain. This Sunday, guest preacher Lucas Connell shared a powerful word on bringing people to Jesus. Let us live in faith and never giving up on people experiencing the power and presence of God. Who will you carry? Who will you bring to the table?

Purpose always determines potential. When we align our purpose with God, we receive a God-given potential. Until we get our purpose from God, we will always settle for something lower than our intended purpose. This Sunday guest preacher Charles Metcalf, from Transformation Church, shared a powerful message on the problem with our potential. Who is missing out on encountering Jesus in your life because you are trying to live up to your potential?  

God is able to give you a vision for Jesus, your identity and for the church. When we grasp the vision He has for these three areas we fully step into our purpose and design for our lives. Pastor Emmanuel Hastings shares on our new series God is Able. Let us rest in knowing God is able and stir our faith so that we can dream for more and step out in all God has called us to impact this city together. 

If our heart, soul and mind is filled with the love of Christ it is going to overflow and impact others and the people around us that we interact with. But are we truly filled? God comes and fills our heart through faith.  Faith turns our hearts into homes for Christ. Pastor Josh concludes our 4D LOVE series with a powerful message of the fullness of God.

Guest Pastor Alex Seeley from The Belonging Co shared a powerful message about the supernatural love of God that we carry. We are called to love others with a supernatural love. This love goes beyond trust. It goes beyond even the betrayal of trust. This is the love that will change the city and that the world will see who God. 

Your mind is a box, it shrinks and enlarges to the level of your mindset. The only way to expand our mind is to experience God’s 4-dimensional love. There are no boundaries to God’s love.

Jesus didn’t just die for you, He died as you, so all of our old self died with Jesus. We are able to free our mind with who we are not in Christ as we find new life in Him. We are free to live in the mind of Christ and free to think as Christ thinks. Let us walk boldly knowing we have self-control over our mind with the power of God. 

The future of the church is based on us all opening up to the fullness of God. The cross is four-dimensional and every human needs every dimension of his love, the breadth, the length, the height and the depth. When we open up to all the dimensions of His love we think bigger and dream again.

The mind is where we see freedom. If we want to see the gifts of the spirit operate, it starts in the mind. God’s truth is more true than our thoughts and emotions, so when we change our thinking and mind to focus on Him, His truth is larger than our thoughts.

Burn for something that’s worth it. God wants hope to enter humanity, and it happens through the church. We were all created with something within us to serve others and bring glory to God. So let us love others like we're already loved and stir up the gifts within to make a difference in the world around us.

Fan into flame the gift God has given you. As you received God in your life you were given a fire inside of you. Let us stir up what is within us so we can live in the image He created us to be. Pastor Josh Kelsey preaches a powerful message on stirring up the fire within us. God created humans on the 6th day with purpose and life. What are you stirring up inside you? 

Who is the greatest in the kingdom? Jesus teaches that the greatest are the ones that serve. When we are secure in our identity as followers of Jesus, we are free to serve others and be a light in our relationships, work places, and cities. Pastor Filmore Bouldes shares on a culture of servanthood as we look to Jesus who came to serve so that we may know what true love and serving others looks like. As we catch the culture of servanthood in our lives His light is shown through us. 

How do you transfer authority in the kingdom? The world has mechanisms to find ready-made people. The world recruits people, the kingdom disciples people. Leadership in the world is about holding onto power, leadership in the Kingdom is about releasing power to others. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on a culture of leadership and releasing authority in the kingdom. Authority follows faithfulness and God releases authority based on our character. We can only lead others and pass on authority to the degree we lead ourselves.  

Unity is not the absence of division, unity is what we do when we are divided. Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the culture of unity that we carry when we get caught up in the unity of Jesus. We will never have unity if our opinion is more important than the Word of God. The greatest weapon the enemy has is offense. The devil hates relationships because when we love one another it’s the greatest glory the world will see.

Faith is trusting God. Doubt is trusting the world. Faith and doubt are the same substance. The substance of your life is so much more powerful when it’s under Jesus and under His word. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a powerful message on a culture of faith in our lives and the substance of faith we all carry. When we place our substance under His Lordship is where we truly live a life of risk, faith and vision.   

Praise is the answer to everything in our lives. Let's not delay our praise to God. Every area we praise God in, we welcome His peace and His joy. The access point of God’s glory is His Lordship. We can trace whether Jesus is Lord by the fruit of our lives. This Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey preached this message on the foundation of Jesus being Lord in our lives. If we want to accept Him as Lord, we have to confess it, believe it and live it. When we choose to live out Jesus being Lord, we are able to walk in His ways, live in His thoughts and follow His great plans for our lives. Jesus is the only Lord with unlimited mercy and grace that we have free access to if we choose to accept Him.

Members of our Queens team took the stage to preach this Sunday a message on creating a culture of service in our church and in our city. The best way to serve God is to be unified as a church in our mission to loving others and putting their needs above our own. When we give and open our hearts to others, we create a world that looks more like heaven.   

Our Downtown Manhattan tag team preached this Sunday about celebrating others and putting their joy and successes above our own as we carry a culture of second fiddle. When we create a kingdom culture that is devoted to uplifting and serving others, we create a world that glorifies God.

When we yield in the right heart to serve others for Christ we generate peace in our lives, when we yield to others out of our own ambition we are left with a selfish residue in our lives. Let our lives reflect His love as we pour out, serve and unify together to reach this city. This Sunday, 3 team members in Bushwick preached on the culture of playing second fiddle as we serve others and serve our city.

When we serve, we are setting ourselves up to bless others and to give God all the glory when our heart and eyes are focused on Him. This Sunday, we had 6 team preachers share a message on playing second fiddle in the kingdom of God. When we place others first we bring heaven to earth and example the heart of God. 

When we are committed to our purpose as serving God and building His kingdom we are rewarded by seeing the joy in others lives. This Sunday at our Williamsburg location, 6 different team preachers shared on the culture of playing second fiddle and putting others first. As we example this heart and culture in our lives we will create a space of humility, unity and love for the world around us.

We all desire to pray and read the word, but oftentimes it can seem difficult and confusing. Prayer and reading is a gift from God and is meant to be joyous and transformative in our every day life. What would it look like if we changed our perspective on how we talk to God and hear from God on a regular basis? This Sunday, Pastor Ryan Schlachter preached on the culture of prayer and the word. 

Culture is what we are devoted to. Culture is our values being lived out in our day to day. This Sunday, we kicked off our new series CULTURE learning about the ways of the kingdom and how Christ has defined culture for us through His life and the early church. Right now, there is something shaping and forming us. What or who is shaping you? What or who are you shaping?

This Father's Day, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the Father's love that we have in Christ. No matter our relationship with our earthly father, our Heavenly Father accepts, adores and affirms us. God has something great He wants to do through you, and He can do it better when your bags are unpacked. This Sunday, guest Pastor Tim Ross preached on unpacking your bags in your relationships. We all have baggage with us that we carry, when we open up and are honest with our baggage and begin to unpack it, sort it and put it away we then are free to be our true selves that God has created us to be. Unpack your baggage, so you can understand yourself, and make yourself understandable to others.

Sex was designed by God and it was created from the beginning to represent His love and character for humanity. This Sunday, we continued our Relationships Series with Pastor Josh Kelsey preaching on the topic, PURE SEX. Genesis 2:24-25 teaches us that sex was created by God to be shame-free and full of intimacy within marriage. When we pursue our relationships God's way, our souls will be whole and fulfilled.  

Is it hard to hear God’s wisdom for romantic relationships in a culture obsessed with comparison and “The One”? This Sunday, Pastor Emma Lyne Bruce preached on the myth of "The One" in our relationships. In choosing well, there needs to be wisdom from God's word and spirit as our leading guide. Jesus is the one our hearts desire. Jesus is the one to fill the void that no relationship can ever fill. It is in Christ and Christ alone that you will find yourself complete and whole—only then are we ready to step into relationships as God created them to be.  

When Jesus is at the center of your life, relationships become one of the most important things you can do in your life. Your life is made up of how you love God and how you love people. Pastors Josh and Georgie Kelsey, lead pastors of C3 NYC speak together on the secret of healthy relationships. The secret to growing and being healthy with one another is in our communication. Hear 3 questions that they tackle and speak on with wisdom and stories of how we can grow in our relationships through healthy communication. 

Guest Pastor Gini Smith preached this Mother’s Day on the seasons of life we will walk through. We all live in time and seasons and will find that seasons come and seasons go, but Jesus works through whatever season you are going through. She shared 5 wisdom-packed points of walking through seasons in life. If we look to the Holy Spirit as our GPS, allow the word to renew our mind, pray before we say, serve others and stay in community, our lives will be able to get through any season we are in. 

Guest Pastor Wendy Perez preached this Mother's Day on the joy in our trials out of James 1. When we have our perspective shift through Jesus knowing He is with us and on the other side of our trial is His great plan for our lives we are able to walk through our life confidently with Him. No matter the trial, if we see our lives with the generational impact we will have, the trial will always be worth it. 

Jesus reveals that the way to be a friend is to become a servant, but the way to become a servant is becoming a friend of Jesus. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey kicked off our RELATIONSHIPS series with a wisdom-packed message on healthy relationships in our lives. All good relationships flow out of our soul. The health of our soul will determine the health of our relationships.

The prerequisite to experiencing the freedom of God in your life is honesty and vulnerability. Jesus is looking for you and I to be honest. He wants honesty, not perfection. This Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached out of John 21 and Jesus's encounter with Peter. Grace wins because grace meets us in our failures and gives us courage to move forward.

God is not afraid of your doubt. He created your mind. He wants you to investigate, dig as deep as you want, and look in every corner of the tomb. It will always lead you back to an empty tomb and a risen Lord and his name is Jesus. This Easter weekend, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the tomb of our heart that Jesus is knocking at waiting to come in. When we let Him in, He becomes the master architect of our lives.  

Jesus put himself in a position of deep loneliness to empathize with humanity’s need for deep connection. It's His grace that gathers us and our sin that scatters us. Whenever the son of God encounters our death, He always wins. Death has been undefeated for far to long, but it’s time is up. There is great opposition when you are about God's love. There is an enemy against His love and there is a battle going on for your life. Grace doesn’t mean that we now live as we choose. Tithing is not a payment to God, it’s honoring God with your wealth. It’s recognizing Him as the source of everything you have. His grace covers us when we fall short, but it empowers us to live for other people.

We cannot disconnect living on mission from generosity. Our giving flows out of our lives being on mission for Christ. Jesus came not to free us from generosity but to free us to generosity. Let us step into building His church with our generosity so we may see a city come alive in Christ.

This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on going deeper in our identity in Christ. Identity is one of the most important things in our walk with God. If we loose sight of who we are, our lives get confusing. But when we know who we are in Christ, it changes how we live, speak and treat others.

The promise of Jesus and what He wants in your life is joy. His joy is unending and when we stay connected to Him and abide in Him we receive everything He has for us. The One who is the promise-maker is also the promise-keeper. No matter what you go through He is your rescuer. Instead of asking God to fix what you are going through, ask Him what is His command in what you are going through.

Don’t let doubt or fear win. Allow Jesus to speak to your soul today. Allow Him to remind you of His character; He is our provider, protector, and comforter. His presence is enough to get you out of any storm. This past Sunday, Pastor Emma Lyne Bruce preached on the promises of God and that He is peace and the promise through the storm.

There’s a rest in your soul that can only be found in Jesus. He is our rest and our refuge when we look to Him. This past Sunday, Pastor Emmanuel Hastings preached on Psalm 91 diving into our God who is the Most High. We can be rid of fear when we look to Him as the highest in our lives and our place of refuge.     

The number one thing that’s going to change you in 2019 is not your circumstance getting better, it’s spending time in the presence of God. This past Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached on God always having time for us. When we spend time with God He changes our soul, identity and what we love.

Dream bigger. If your dream was fulfilled today, what impact would it have on the future generation? This past Dream Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached a message on dreaming in faith for all God will do in 2019. Let's be specific with our dreams. We tend to have vague dreams because we fear disappointment, but God wants us to get specific with our dreams. Dreaming with specificity, is trusting God to be faithful.

God doesn’t invade our lives, He comes by invitation. This past Sunday, guest Pastor Phil Pringle leader and founder of the C3 Movement preached a powerful message on making room for God in this Christmas season. Make Jesus your one thing that you pursue. He's not a threat to your dreams.  

The reason we can live without fear is because God is with us. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message of faith from the perspective of Mary from Luke 1. From Mary's faith we we see that it’s the power of the Holy Spirit that enables us to carry Jesus, not more of our effort. Whatever we are facing, let's place our expectation on something He promises to do. His word will not fail us.  

As we end this year as team C3 let's look to the water, to the source in Jesus Christ and dig a new well. This past ALLIN Team Night, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on digging another well from Genesis 26. Don’t stop digging, there is living water below the dirt and in every place you dig a well the world around it will be blessed. In 2019, wherever it takes you dig another well. Jesus is your source. He is your living water.   

Hope is not optimism, but a promise. God desires to take us from hopelessness and despair to joy. This past Sunday, Pastor Luis Guerrero preached a message kicking off our Advent series on HOPE. Our hope is dependent on the person of Jesus. When our hope is based on something other than Jesus, it becomes unreliable. When we look to Jesus as our hope we can look back and see His faithfulness in our past and trust that He has secured our future. 

When you see God how He wants to be seen, you will see yourself how He sees you and that will change everything about your life. This past Sunday, guest speaker Dan Lian preached a powerful message on the love of our Father. Since the beginning of time God has been desperately desirous of showing us who He is and our identity as His children. We become children of God when we rest in His love and receive His grace. 

The good news of the gospel is that The Holy Spirit doesnt leave, but He’s here to stay. This past Sunday, Pastor Georgie Kelsey preached a powerful message on the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is life-giving spirit. There’s so much joy and peace He wants to pour into us as we keep in step with Him.

When Jesus saw the need, He didn't go numb. This VISION SUNDAY, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on generosity out of Matthew 14. When we follow Jesus's example we step out in compassion, we are moved to lead in generosity to meet the needs around us. When we join together in generosity we can do so much. We will be the hands and feet of Jesus for such a time as this. Today is the day of faith. 

We are all called to run after the one just as Jesus ran after us. When our hearts break for the one, we align our hearts with heaven, we see like Jesus sees and build a legacy beyond ourselves. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached out of Luke 15 about building a legacy for the one. What are you willing to sacrifice for the one? 

What are we building our life on? What truly builds a legacy? We can never create a legacy unless we attach to that which is eternal, unless we center our lives on Jesus and His word. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on joining the legacy of Jesus and placing Him at the center of our lives to bring eternal significance to all that we do.

This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey launched our Vision Builders series preaching on legacy and longevity. God wants to leave a mark on this planet—and He works in us and through us to do it! We are each called by God, made for a purpose and destiny. Whatever legacy God has for your life step into it today, start now in faith.

God is worthy to be praised whether we feel it or not. Our soul's satisfaction is in praising God. There will be days of storms, but through it all, God is worthy to be praised. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the art of Self Talk. How do you change your self-talk? How do you change your inner dialogue? You obey God even when it’s not convenient. If you want to change the emotional position of your soul, you need to change an inward posture of your heart towards the Lord.

Just because you’re in a storm now it doesn’t mean you’re in the storm forever. The cave seasons, the seasons of trials, aren’t meant to break you but to build you. Don’t waste your cave. God loves you so much that He’s not going to let you walk through your trial alone. This past Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached on Psalm 57 showing the goodness of God in all circumstances no matter the trial that He is for us.

The Lord is our rock. He is our fortress and deliverer. He is who we take refuge in. This ALLIN Team Night, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached from Psalm 18 on hiding in the Lord and leaning on His strength. He is our hiding place, He will get us through any storm that comes when we take refuge in Him.

Christ loves us, and no enemy or weapon or calamity can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Our vision is Jesus Christ. This Anniversary Sunday, we celebrated five years as a church family as Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on keeping our eyes on Jesus. When we experience God, reverence and humility follow—and when we truly encounter Christ, there’s activity. In order to understand God's will we have to spend time with Him. When we pray according to God's will—and not our will—that is when a beautiful journey of prayer begins. Start your prayer with humility and let God raise you up.

Faith is the access to experience relationship with Him and to know Him which is eternal life. His love is for us all, it’s for the people.

This Sunday, Pastor Ryan Schlachter preached on what it means to live in unity with the gifts God has given us. Often times we can devalue the God’s gifts to us because we are so focused comparing ourselves to others. There is a purpose to every single gift that we have and our gifts are amplified when they are used in unison with those around us.

We aren't creating a unity but joining in and maintaining His unity that already exists and is extended towards us.  His unity is the end of our division. His unity is the end of our lack of peace. This past Sunday, guest preacher Paul Scanlon, global communicator for over 30 years growing and empowering people in churches worldwide, preached a message on God's heart for us to accept others before changing them just as Christ has done for us. The way God gets people to change is this: He overwhelms them with acceptance until they start volunteering to change. Let's take on the heart of this message as we accept and love people as Christ has. 

In Jesus, our seat is always secure. Before we were ever thinking about Jesus, He had a seat with our name on it. This past Sunday, Pastor Ryan Schlachter preached on our identity in Christ as we serve others. True humility knows we can serve from our status and not for our status. 

Jesus serves us first, does what others won’t and is our example. This is the heart of what it looks like to walk in humility from the message this past Sunday from Pastor Filmore Bouldes. Some of us are afraid to go low, because if we go low we are going to lose our position but Jesus shows us that our seat is secure in Him. Those who are the most secure, they serve first. They admit they are wrong first. They are the first to apologize, the first to forgive. We are secure in Christ. We have the security in Christ, worth and value in Him. God has not put our value up for grabs.

This ALLIN Team Night, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached on Hebrews 12 and the endurance we have in Christ to keep running. Let us be reminded of why we do what we do and why we run our race. God will give us a second wind to keep going so that we may run free, focused and fresh.

This past Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached on the GOAT, the greatest of all time, who was Jesus and how His life is an example for how we are to live out greatness. Greatness is about humility. The greatness of a person is measured by their service to others. Christ set the example for this, He taught that greatness comes from humble servitude. 

This special First Fruits Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached out of Isaiah 54 on enlarging our vision and our tent as a church. As we put God first we will find that blessing breaks open over our lives. God then takes something so temporal like money and builds the eternal. There is no thing we can invest in that will live forever like the kingdom of God.

This past Sunday, C3 Lead Pastor Georgie Kelsey preached a message on Isaiah 54 as we step out as a church family and enlarge our tent in New York City. When we enlarge, God always fills the space. When we are in Christ and are in faith we can let fear go in our lives and boldly step into all that He has for us. We can see with eyes of faith in the midst of fear because Jesus is our captain. 

This past Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached on practicing love like Jesus as we love one another in our lives. Nothing can develop without a bit of resistance. Let’s learn to embrace resistance because it’s an opportunity for our muscles of love to grow. Practice means that what was once uncomfortable becomes a rhythm of love. Let's not just talk about love, let's be about love.   

So often we don’t love one another better because we haven’t stopped to receive God’s love. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on God's heart for us to serve one another because of the freedom we have in Christ. The world would say that freedom is doing what we want when we want, but God declares that true freedom is found in selflessness. Pastor Josh spoke on 5 keys to serving others as signs of true freedom. Let's take on this message and build others up through the fullness we have received in Christ!

This past Sunday, guest Pastor Nadia Marychurch preached on devotion to people in our ONE ANOTHER series. Devotion is walking with people. That’s what Jesus did for us. Jesus was 100% devoted to us. It doesn’t matter what we do, He’s always going to be devoted to us. We will never regret devotion for the sake of God and people and we can't let fear stop us from being devoted to people. This is our greatest call as believers to love one another and be devoted to them. 

This past Sunday, guest Pastor Levi Marychurch preached a message on the power of our words in our ONE ANOTHER series. He challenged us with key questions to truly analyze the words we say. Are your words optimistic? Do they bring out life in others? If you were to do an audit of your daily words, what would it look like? These questions help us see the power God has given us in our words to live out His calling to love one another.

This ALLIN Team Night, guest Pastor Levi Marychurch preached on getting our edge back. When we feel we have lost our edge, we go back to the beginning—back to our personal history with God to be reminded of our first love for Him. Jesus has done it all—all striving is finished. The hard work is finished. The leading in our own understanding is finished. He has done it all on the cross.

This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey kicked off our summer series, ONE ANOTHER with a powerful message on God's mission for us to be life-long learners of love. The world will know us by our love and when we look to the needs of others and meet those needs, those around us will take note. This past Sunday, guest Pastor Mark Kelsey C3’s Global Growth Minister, shared a powerful message with us concluding our DISCIPLE series. The heart of the great commission in our lives to go and teach the gospel to the world, being disciple-makers in all areas of our lives. The reason Jesus said to go was because He was going, He was leaving the future of the world to the church so we might live out His life through us. The world is waiting for us to give the right example to imitate and God wants us to live on adventure with Him so our lives can show the freedom He has given us. 

The Great Commission calls us to make disciples by immersing people in the identity, love and relationship of the Trinity. For all eternity, there’s been a love relationship between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit—and we’re invited into that love! This Sunday in our DISCIPLE series, Pastor Filmore preached on being immersed—how through being baptized in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, we are named differently, loved deeply and welcomed into a community that reflects the image of God.

The greatest power is love. Love is what defeated the grave and our sin. This is the power that Jesus has given to us and has commissioned us with to go into the world to share. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh preached on the Great Commission that Jesus calls us to in Matthew 28. The commission invites us to step into an authentic Christianity, a disciple-making life that we can only step into with His power.  

Every single human is being discipled. Jesus hardwired us to look for someone to teach us how to live, but the question is who are we following right now? Are we willing to be discipled by Jesus? This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the great commission from Matthew 28. We have a God who comes close to us—the game-changing thing about Jesus is His proximity. Jesus leads us to intimacy not distance, so if we’re intimate with Jesus, then we’ll learn to be be the greatest Disciple-makers.

Nothing brings joy to God’s heart and the party to heaven like one lost sheep’s return. Jesus declares He will do the heavy lifting to bring the lost home. Our work is to partner with the One who is searching. And when He finds that individual, He’s the one who brings them home by grace through faith. This ALLIN Team night guest Pastor Dan Lian shared a powerful message about God's heart for the lost. There's always room for one more sheep here at C3 and we are a team who look after the one. 

Freedom is not what you do or achieve, but true freedom starts in the heart. Real freedom is the fact that your sins are forgiven. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on true freedom we find within Jesus. We can put our problem, sin or addiction at the feet of God because He is a good Father and His mercy wants to flow through you so you can be free.  

Do you see how God’s grace is threaded through your past? Your past is marked by mercy, love and grace and that deserves a response to God. This past Sunday Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached on laying down our bodies as sacrifices to God. God doesn’t want just a better you, He wants a better us. This is a body, so we belong to each other.  

We aren't made whole and healthy by what we have done but rather by who God is. The Good News is not about what God requires but what He provides—it’s not about what God demands but what He declares over our lives! This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on being made whole through Christ and the healing power of His Word. The Word is like a surgeon’s scalpel, able to access our deepest beliefs and renew our minds!      

The church is the home where the Doctor lives, where the Great Physician dwells—and His name is Jesus. This past Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached a message kicking off our new series HOSPITAL sharing on the church being a home to care for the sick. The first step in our lives in receiving healing is recognizing we have a sickness. Jesus defines a sinner as someone who is sick. This shows that the core issue of humanity is not humanity’s inability to keep rules but that we are sick and that our hearts need healing.

Why did Jesus come? To make us feel ok and give us a cheap grace? Or was it a costly grace that welcomes us into something that is so personal, so intimate, so divine, so wonderful that we would be one with Him. We have to understand the deeper reason for Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday to see that Jesus is truly worth it. This past Good Friday, Pastor Josh preached a message on 'It's Personal' sharing of why Jesus came and died for us and what we have access to through Him. We should treat everyday as it's both Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday because it is available to us and it's personal, what He did was for you and me. This is how great His love is for us!

Jesus died and rose again. The empty tomb says to us that Jesus didn’t want just our sins covered, but He wanted relationship with us forever. This Easter Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the forever love of Jesus Christ. At the cross and empty tomb, everything that seems forever becomes temporary and everything that seems temporary becomes forever when confronted by the resurrection power of Christ. There is nothing more forever, nothing more final, nothing more powerful than His Love for us.

God didn’t create us with any shame. When He looks at you, there is no sense of shame. This is the heart of our God—to come into every area of our lives and pour out His grace. This Palm Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on being unashamed for Jesus because He is unashamed of us. When we rid ourselves of shame, worry and anxiety, we let the presence of God in and let His love and grace into our life to solve our issue of shame.

If we weren't worth it, why did Jesus come down from heaven to earth? Why did the creator of all things die for each of us? This is how much God loves us and places value on us. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on our value in Jesus. We are worth more than we realize. We need to understand that only Jesus is the only one that can tell us how much our lives and souls are worth. Do you trust God for your value?  

Why do we do what we do? Why do we sacrifice and lay down our lives? It’s because there is a glory that we are aching for in this life. Until we get His glory in the right place we will never be satisfied. There is no glory big enough outside of the glory of God that will fill our soul. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on losing our life for God's glory. Anything that doesn't have God at the center of it will be destroyed—the only way you destroy your old life is by self-sacrifice and picking up your cross daily. Let's let His wondrous glory fill our vision as we live for something greater!

At our special Allin Team Night, we had the honor of hearing from Pastor Louie Giglio from Passion City Church share a powerful message on Psalm 23 and the table God has prepared for us. We all have power, through the Holy Spirit to sit down at the table with the Shepherd. We have the power to tell the enemy, ‘You can prowl around but you cannot sit down at this table.’ 

When we disown our old life completely, we then find the freedom and fulfillment we have been looking for. Jesus wanted to put to death our old nature and old desires — He offers us true freedom from within when we decide to pick up our cross! This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey launched our new series THE CROSS IS HERE with a powerful message on picking up our cross and following Jesus. Nothing will meet the desires of your heart like Jesus. The cross is here, and not just here for you but for New York City.  

How are we meant to get access to the wisdom that created all things? Jesus is our access to the throne of God where true wisdom lives. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on Jesus as the wisdom of God. He is our access and our wisdom. True wisdom comes from above and has a heavenly perspective of our challenges, but this wisdom also became a man, able to sympathize and understand our problems. Jesus carries the true wisdom that God wants us to live with daily.

This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on wisdom and the fear of man. The fear of man is when we care too much about what people think of us and put people in the place of where God should be in our lives. Pastor Josh shared five key points on how we can overcome the fear of man: know who is for you, let trust overcome fear, recognize fear is a spirit not an emotion, know what God has given and not given you and care more about what God thinks than what man thinks. Even if we don’t always believe in God, He believes in us. His love is not based on our performance; His love is always for us.

When we filter what we say through the love of God, it transforms our language so that our words bring life. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on wisdom in our words, challenging us to bring healing and life to people. Three key points to wise words are: control our impulses and speak wisely, conquer our bitterness and speak kindly, correct our attitude and speak positively. Let's let God into our heart this week so that His life would flow through our words!

What if the answer is not more wealth but more wisdom? God’s wisdom is not trying to control you but to protect and bless you. This past Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached on wisdom in wealth and 3 keys to living wisely through our finances. Our treasure is where our hearts so, so our money flows in the direction of what we value. As God has been generous with us, we are freed to be generous as well!  

God is with us in the hustle. We were created to work by God, and He wants us to thrive in the work we do. This past Sunday, Pastor Emmanuel Hastings preached on wisdom in the hustle. When we seek God's wisdom in our work, we find His unique purpose for us. We are carriers of His name in our workplace, so we can go into work without holding back. Let's be workers who are diligent and honest as we are secure in our identity in Him we are able to see the bigger picture everyday.

What to expect when you’re spiritually expecting: Expect that there’s going to be a process. That you’re going to need God to say don’t be afraid. But also expect that when it’s God it will bring change, holiness, Kingdom into everything. This past Sunday, guest speaker Mia Fieldes, grammy-nominated songwriter, preached a powerful message on intimacy with God and the process of giving birth to a God dream. Nothing that God grows comes into the world without having to breathe through it with Him, lean into Him, trust Him through it.

There's a reason we have grace. Grace is not merely a cover up for sin but the empowerment to be welcomed into the most perfect relationship that we could ever be welcomed into. God’s grace has brought us in so that you may have access to His glory. This past Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message on the reason for grace. His grace gives us access into the glory we were made for.

When God spoke, He created light—light because He wanted to reveal Himself to us, to show the world and all creation what kind of God we serve. To come under God’s word is to take our lives from chaos to cosmos, from dark to light. This past Sunday, guest Pastor Robert Madu kicked off our GENESIS series this Advent season by encouraging us to trust God no matter what the season or circumstance. In His word is power to create something out of nothing, and all we have to do is trust in it!

When we know our divine origin and destiny, we are free to serve others from the security of who we are in Christ. This Sunday, Pastor Filmore unpacked the story of Jesus washing the disciples feet from John 13, revealing that Jesus' humility and servant nature is available to us when we keep our eyes on Him. We were meant for love, designed not to tread on people's feet in competition but to wash their feet in humility. Only after we encounter the radical, self-giving love of Christ can our hearts come alive to pioneer in humility so that we can truly consider others greater than ourselves.

We were created to draw close to our Creator and to carry a language of thanksgiving as we enter His courts! This Sunday, Pastor Emmanuel spoke on the story of the 10 lepers Jesus healed, and how only one returned with loud thanksgiving to fall at the feet of the one who worked His miracle. We are challenged to be people who reflect the fullness of the divine love we carry by being loud in our thanksgiving, not only loud in our requests or complaint. In gratitude, we are enabled to live out our revelation of His love for us for those around, for NYC and beyond!

We are trying to create spaces for life to happen, for people to be found. For the broken to mended. We are creating space for God to move. This past Sunday, guest Pastor Dan Lian preached a message out of Mark 5 sharing on the spaces we create for God to move in. God wants to shine His light, show His love, a love that never gives up through us. 

Each of us are a living stone, making a house for the presence of God wherever we go. We are a city on a hill, a light on a stand and as we join together we will shine with His radiant light in us. As Vision Builders, our heart is to impact New York City and beyond with the love of Christ as we step out and give. This past Sunday was VISION SUNDAY here at C3 and Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message on being a light through generosity. Let's pioneer together into new territory as we give to His vision.   

It takes sacrifice and worship to make Jesus the center of our lives — and when we do the fragrance of our worship leaves an eternal legacy for those around us. This Sunday Pastor Josh preached a message on the anointing of Jesus and how generosity flows from the revelation of His great gift to us. He reminded us that it is not until we see how extravagantly generous God is towards us that we are able to pour out that same generosity to those around us. Moreover, Pastor Josh challenges us to behold the Son of God before we count the cost of living a life marked by extravagant generosity.

God wants to bless us with the knowledge of who He is. We learn who He is by putting Him first, by trusting Him above this world. If we truly want to unlock the best of God for our lives, we have to give Him our best first. This past Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message on generosity and the power of giving God our best and our first. We will never know how much He loves us until we trust Him first.    

Love blazes a way. Love pioneers for the sake of others. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey launched our new series PIONEER which looks at the book of Hebrews and points to our ultimate Pioneer, Jesus Christ! He made a way for us — who will you pioneer and make a way for?  

No matter what you are walking through, who you are in God has never changed. Like the father in the parable of the Prodigal Son, God is always chasing after us — His heart is for us to know who we are in Him. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message in our HEIRS series on our identity in Christ as His sons and daughters. Our identity is secure in Him because we are His inheritance.    

Do you know that you are an heir of God? We are heirs according to His promise not because of our own behavior. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on our HEIRS series while also kicking off our 4th location in Downtown Brooklyn. You are royalty, you are heirs, you are an inheritor of all things simply by what Jesus has done. Unless we get our vision clear on who Jesus is we won't get our vision clear on others.  

This Sunday, special guest speaker, Pastor Kevin Loo kicked off our HEIRS series, showing us how we can live in the freedom that God has given us as sons and daughters. Knowing our position as heirs, by knowing God as Our Father first, we’re able to stop striving for what God says is already ours. It’s not always easy, but when we create that space to allow God to speak to us, we encounter Jesus, coming deeper into the knowledge of our inheritance in the Kingdom. 

This Sunday, we celebrated our 4th Anniversary, and as we look forward to our fifth year as a church, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message from Ezra 9 on how God's revival leads to rising! When we repent, turning back to God and surrendering our hearts anew to Him, we are filled with the true refreshment and energy of His Spirit so that we can be part of His restoration of our city and beyond. Our vision is Jesus Christ. Our mission is people. Our cause is love.

This week in our HELP series, Pastor Josh showed how Ezra's heart to rebuild the temple wasn't an accident but rather the hand of God on his life. Like a father putting his hand on his child, the hand of God brings us courage and keeps our praise connected to His unchanging character, not our own performance. No matter what discouragement we face, in Christ we know the hand of God is on our lives—He is with us and for us!

This past Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes brought a message in our HELP series out of the book of Ezra on the promise of God. Although we may not be able to see the fulfillment of God’s promise to us at the moment, we can rest in the fact that He will fulfill it, giving us all the more reason to praise in the process. When we as believers come around a united purpose to share God’s love with this city and the world, we can be confident in knowing that it’s His consistency and perfection that is going to build the kingdom. Let’s start by using our praise as a witness even when the walls aren’t built, because our foundation is in Christ!

We serve the God who stirs our hearts and calls us home. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached out of Ezra on the return of the exiles and the rebuilding of the temple. Our God is actively at work to free us; His grace declares an end to exile and brings us home to rebuild the ruins of our lives. When we’re stirred, the result is always a unified vision of worship through obedience — God reveals what He wants to rebuild in your life when we say “yes” to Him!

Worry is misaligned care, misused imagination. This Tuesday, Pastor Josh Kelsey gave a powerful message out of the Sermon on the Mount, calling us to cast our worries on God so that our imagination can be filled with faith for the Kingdom calling on our lives! We were created to care, but never to carry our worries and cares on our own — Christ's heart is that we would be set free from worry as we turn to Him.  

This Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message out of Acts 16, where Paul and Silas were thrown into prison after casting out an evil spirit and setting a young girl free. Although innocent, with every reason to complain, in their darkest hour Paul and Silas sang hymns and praised God from their jail cell. This shows us that praise isn’t about our circumstance, but about Jesus’ position in our lives. We too can be encouraged to praise even in the toughest of situations. Our freedom and our praise has the opportunity to set others free! 

The transformation from Saul to Paul is a story for each of us. This week Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached a message out of Acts 9, where Saul encountered Jesus on the road the Damascus and Ananias encountered Saul to reveal his calling. How incredible that God works through other people to reveal our own calling! Many times we can doubt God’s plan for our lives or feel shaken by prayers that seemed to go unanswered, but this story examples just how suddenly God can work when we keep trusting in Him. Jesus comes into our lives, changing our desires and mission in life, and bringing glory to His name — all so that we can share that hope with others.

This Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message out of Acts 4 of opposition and boldness. Things of this world compete for our worship, but when we’re found in Christ we can confront our trials with a supernatural boldness and continue to endure hardships knowing that our identity rests in Him alone. We have the been given the authority to speak out in Jesus’ name freedom and healing over others’ lives just as Peter and John did. As we continue to endure through trials and opposition, we rest in knowing that they’re producing the character and hope of Christ in us. 

Each of us has the opportunity to live with great expectation and anticipation—Jesus has made each of us a new creation! This Sunday Pastor Josh preached a message out Peter and John’s encounter with the lame man by the temple gates. Through Peter and John’s faith in the power of Christ within them, they were able to give the lame man more than he was asking for—they not only gave him physical strength and healing but they gave him access to Jesus. By putting our own faith in action, we can now reach out to others and give them the same access of Christ inside us.

Jesus enters into our pain. He connects with us in our sorrow and brings comfort in our hearts when we need relief. This Sunday Pastor Emmanuel Hastings encouraged us out of John 11 as we looked at Jesus raising Lazarus back to life. Christ came to bring resurrection and life, and He is working through our situation — not just for our own lives but for those around us to reveal His glory in His time.  

Jesus always initiates and then He illuminates in our lives so that we can see Him. He wants to save and restore us as we look to Him. This Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached a message on John 9 on how we are all blind without Jesus. When we see Jesus we see ourselves, we find our true identity and our vision is restored. 

There is no escaping sin in this life, but Jesus has taken on our guilty verdict so we may live free in this life and for eternity. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh preached a message on Jesus's encounter with the adulterous women in John 8. Through this story we are able to experience His unchanging love for this woman and all of humanity, ultimately displaying the sacrifice He was soon to make on the cross. Whether we find ourselves relating more to the woman caught in sin or the self-righteous Pharisees, God’s love is poured out on all of us, as we have all fallen short of His glory.

This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on John 5 of the story of the man that was lame for 38 years. In our own times of helplessness, when the world cannot give us enough strength, Jesus encounters for healing and to reveal who He is. We’re able to receive His strength, by nothing of our own efforts, but by everything Jesus did on the cross. He calls us into freedom, even with our scars, so we can can tell of His healing power to others. 

Leaders rebuild walls to protect that which is valuable to God and to His church. This ALLIN Team Night, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message on leadership from the book of Nehemiah. Our city will always be a burden to us if we don't have a burden for it, we need to know the need in order to have a vision. Let's stay focused on what we are called to do in order to reach this city. 

This Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message on the first encounter Jesus had after the Sermon on the Mount. In one touch, Jesus reached out to a leper that approached him in humility for healing and cleansed him. As we look to the leper as the sin in our own lives, we learn how to approach Jesus with the same humility and boldness. We are called to come to Him as we are. 

What are you doing to see Jesus? This Sunday Pastor Josh preached a message on the story of Jesus’ encounter with Zacchaeus, a despised chief tax collector. Jesus constantly tests the heart of men and women showing them that He came for the sole purpose of salvation for everyone. Although Zacchaeus was short in stature, it was this disadvantage that caused him to see Jesus differently. He reminds us that we’re never too far away for God to see us and call us by name. 

  God comes to us — He meets us and comes directly to our hearts to bring freedom. We have access to His living water as an endless source of overflow. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message on our source of life in Jesus. If we don't go to Jesus as our well of living water, we will run other people in our life dry. It's the positioning of our heart that determines where we find our thirst and fulfillment.

When grace touches your heart it doesn't matter what judgement comes your way. Grace always triumphs. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message of freedom that is found through Christ's radical grace. God wants to set us free so that we can bring freedom through others. We are forgiven so that we can forgive. 

Are your eyes on your freedom? As you place your faith, trust and worship in God, His spirit gets on you. This ALLIN Team Night, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message on proclaiming freedom in our lives. We carry a different spirit than that of the world, and our freedom in Him brings freedom to those around us.

The good news of salvation is that it's not only to you, but through you. Everything Jesus has, He is generous with and has given to us. This Sunday, guest Pastor Justin Reimer from Vivid Church preached a message on waiting on the Holy Spirit and living out Christ's mission in our lives. 

Do you see the potential in the waiting on God in your life? We learn the most in the waiting. God wants us to wait in our place of greatest fear as that will be where His glory is revealed most. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the power of waiting on God from Acts 1 when the disciples waited for the Holy Spirit. As we wait on God we become witnesses to His glory.

Whenever we are in unbelief we are missing out on a blessing God has for us. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on Jesus' encounter with Thomas in John 21 and the power of believing in Christ. Jesus met Thomas in His unbelief because He remains faithful even if we become faithless. No matter what we demand of God, He invites us to touch the place where His grace met us, to reach out and encounter true freedom in Him. Blessed are those who believe!

You've been made worthy as you receive Jesus Christ. At our Spring Daughters Gathering, Pastor Georgie Kelsey preached on the dignity and strength Christ clothes us with. Each of us can wear the worthiness of Christ which is filled with hope because God has a plan to reveal His glory in us. 

The scandal of Grace is that Jesus extends it even when we deny Him. God’s love for us is never in question, but when Jesus asks Peter, “Do you love me?” in John 21, we see that God values our love. This Sunday, Pastor Josh gave a powerful message on how love leads to obedience — and how loving Jesus always looks like loving others.

Jesus draws near to us even in disappointment because He wants to journey with us and build a foundation in our lives. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on our hope in Christ. We are built to hope and designed to believe through Jesus for our future. When we place our hope in Him alone, there is a fire that burns inside our lives that produces a life full of love, full of faith — and overflowing to a world in need.

On the cross, Christ defeated everything that stands between you and God—not one thing has been left in debt, everything redeemed! But there's a reason He covered us with His grace: that we might have a New Beginning, receiving and living by His Spirit. This Sunday, Pastor Josh explored Jesus' encounter with the disciples as He appeared in the midst of their fear and breathed the Spirit of life into them (see John 20). Jesus restores us to our original design — image-bearers of God and carriers of His Spirit — by setting us free from fear and bringing us into an encounter with His life-giving Spirit!

God is committed to your flourishing. This past Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes shared a message from John 20, Mary’s encounter with the risen Christ, on planting and flourishing in the garden of God. Whenever Jesus seems to not be found in your life, He is closer then you think. Jesus is the gardener of new creation, trust in His unfailing love for you today. If you are looking for purpose to flow through your life, plant yourself in the garden and find yourself in the house of God.  

This Easter Sunday, Pastor Josh showed the lengths Jesus went to find us and rescue us. His grace is stronger than our sin. The Cross is stronger than death. Love may be able to die, but Perfect Love could not stay dead. In the cross and resurrection we see Him giving us a new hope, a new creation, a new beginning. 

This Sunday Pastor Georgie Kelsey unpacked the idea that people who know they are well loved by God are equipped and empowered to love others well. When Jesus laid out His new commandment in John 13—that we love others as He loved us—He raised the bar on what loving others looks like. It’s the love we have for others, whether they are neighbors or enemies, that will distinguish us as Jesus’ disciples and followers. Pastor Georgie encouraged us to learn to receive the love of God better, so that we can love others better—like Jesus loves us.

This Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey launched our new series, PERFECT LOVE! God wants us to grow in love so that we can show others His true love. His agape love is a one-way love that expels fear in our lives — and since fear is a spirit not a feeling, it takes the Spirit of God and His perfect love to drive out all fear. Where fear leads us into bondage, God’s Spirit of Love will lead us and others into true freedom.  

This Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes challenged us to count the cost in our walk with God. If we are going to follow Jesus toward who He's called us to be, it's going to cost our passion, priorities and possessions. We love others best when we love God most. 

This Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey shared on the gospel of peace, which brings a peace with God, with yourself and with others. Speaking out of Ephesians 6, he revealed how essential it is to wear the gospel of readiness on our feet as we walk with God. God makes us ready to move forward in life, to gain traction in our walk and to get a firm grip on who we really are in Christ. Let's put the gospel of peace on our feet today to gain forward movement in our purpose and our lives!

God is constantly preparing us for something, He never leaves us where we are at. This Sunday, Pastor Mark Kelsey encouraged us about all that God has prepared for us to become and to do, to bring God’s glory to the earth. He unpacked three stages of preparation — the Cross, our progression in reconciliation, our role as a voice crying in the wilderness — to help us see just how much God has done to prepare us to shine His glory in New York City.

This Sunday, Pastor Josh calls us to return to the table of the Lord, the place He has prepared for us to encounter the identity, acceptance, and right-standing with Him that He freely gives to us. At this table, when we learn to sit with Him, we will learn who we really are in His eyes and all that He’s already prepared for us. Once we’ve sat, we will know to what kind of table we are inviting others. 

Fighting the good fight for others means overcoming opposition. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey encouraged us out of Mark 2 on how we fight for others in our lives. Our faith carries others when they cannot carry themselves. When we risk for the gospel, lives are transformed as they meet Jesus. We are called to do whatever it takes to get people to the feet of Jesus.  

In order to fight the Good Fight of faith, it's important to know that our faith comes by hearing the word of Christ—and there is a battle for our hearts to be receptive to His word! This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey walked us through the parable of the sower to challenge us to grow in faith by ensuring that the soil of our heart is good. The level of growth and harvest of the Kingdom in our lives is directly related to the condition of our heart. His word may start as a seed, but it grows into a Kingdom!

Faith lives in the realm of impossibility, don't let what you haven't seen God do prevent you from seeing what God can do. This past Sunday, Pastor Filmore Bouldes preached a message stirring our faith to believe in anything through Christ. Faith, moving in an atmosphere of compassion, can expect the miraculous things of God to happen in our lives.  

Let’s step into the good fight of faith because faith is the primary battleground we face in life. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey challenged us to fight for our faith, to strengthen and train ourselves to build our lives in Christ. There is a fight in your life right now which means there is something of worth on the other side. The future is brighter with faith in your heart.

  This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey finished our SUPREME series with a message encouraging us to be clothed in Christ by walking in our new identity in Him. The higher our view of Christ is, the higher our level of humility. Through Christ we are able to put on our new identity and bring true compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience into our world. Jesus is the solution.

The more we discover who Jesus is the more we discover who we are. This Sunday Pastor Josh challenged how we think about salvation and the future of the world. If we see salvation as a ticket to heaven, rather than as a message to transform the world today, then we miss out on the ways that God is renewing the world here and now. The message of the Cross is a message for the renewal of our world, today—and that message of renewal is what we need to return to in order to see things change in our culture.   

We are set free knowing the fullness we have in Christ. In each of our hearts, we have a throne, and who we choose to crown King dictates much of our lives. This past Sunday, Emmanuel Hastings preached on the fullness that only Jesus can give us. Alone we cannot achieve fullness; we can only receive fullness through Christ being on the throne of our hearts.  

We are here to elevate Jesus as supreme. The most dangerous place for the church to live is when Jesus is kind of important. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached in our SUPREME series challenging us to elevate Jesus as king in our lives. When we have supreme love for Christ we will find radical faith, to live not as lukewarm but as ambassadors of Jesus Christ. 

Jesus is supreme. Jesus is ultimate, He is the highest expression of glory. This past Sunday, we kicked off our new series SUPREME with our annual Dream Sunday. Filmore shared about how we can reset our hearts to make the Lord first in our lives by seeking first God’s kingdom. When we dream with His heart, our dreams will always include others. 

Since the beginning of time, man has attempted to create a savior and tried answer the question, “Why I am here?” The virgin birth shows us that salvation requires no effort from man—God so loved us that He overruns every guilt and every shame in our lives. This week during our special Carols by Candlelight services, Pastor Josh Kelsey shared an encouraging message on Jesus' birth. His perfect love came to live inside of us, through the Holy Spirit. Who can resist perfect love?

When the Good News of Jesus’ birth was announced to the shepherds, the angel’s first words were, "Fear not." This was the Kingdom announcement of the end of fear because Christ came to break the distance between us and God. This past Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message on Jesus restoring our lives and bringing an end to fear. We can live in freedom knowing that Jesus is with us and for us.

We often carry burdens we aren't meant to in our own strength - circumstances, worry, fear, or guilt. Jesus came to release all of that from us, for us to receive rest rather than trying to achieve it. This Sunday, Filmore Bouldes preached on coming to Jesus to truly find our rest. We need to stop running to ourselves and recognize our need for help, for Jesus.

Jesus isn't asking us to fix ourselves up. He is present and here to heal and redeem and is looking for us to reach out for help. This Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey helped us grasp the heart of resting in who God is. God made Himself vulnerable through Jesus so He could save us. Everything Jesus asks of us He says He will do it for us and through us. His yoke is easy and His burden is light, through Christ we find real rest.    

Jesus elevated a symbol of weakness, a child, as the greatest in the Kingdom. Our society tells us to hide our vulnerabilities, but Jesus, who entered this world clothed in the weakness of a newborn baby, calls us to that same childlike humility, vulnerability and dependency on our Father. This Sunday, Emmanuel Hastings shared a powerful message kicking off our Advent series, challenging us to push past the pride and self-reliance we often develop in our adulthood in order to recover our much-needed posture of humility and wonder. To live by God’s strength and grace, we enter the Kingdom like a child.

Ambitious praise is the crescendo of our faith because praise reminds us of the One who saved us. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey urged us to live a life overflowing with praise and thanksgiving to God. Praise will always be the result of a life that is firmly rooted in Christ. The certainty of our faith will give us access to all the riches of God as we discover His great mystery.    

Generosity is the way of the Kingdom. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message on Vision Sunday encouraging us to step out in our giving to build God's Kingdom in New York City and beyond. We give because we have already been accepted — not to earn salvation but out of the overflow of His grace in our lives. We release the miracle-working power of God when we give what may seem insignificant to us but can be used significantly by Him. May we be ambitious in our generosity, build the Kingdom and have hearts sown deeply in God’s vision.  

We need to use the ambition God has given us to lift up the name of Jesus in our city. This Sunday, Pastor Josh launched our November series AMBITION on seeking to reclaim our generation's desire to build the Kingdom of God. The God we serve is an ambitious God — like Abraham, we are called to step out of our limited tents, lift our eyes to His unlimited vision and count the stars. Nothing is impossible with God, and as we trust Him, we will see Him do more than we can imagine.

God is not looking at the eloquence of the words in our prayers — He's looking for our honesty, our heart. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey finished our Motel series with fresh insight into the Lord's Prayer. Prayer gives God access to our hearts and shapes our earthly desires into heavenly ones — shifting our focus off ourselves and onto Jesus and His Kingdom. The more we surrender to His will, the more earth will look like heaven.    

We are made in love and wired for love through Christ. God gave us intellect, so our intellect is spiritual and God-breathed but functions fully when we’re connected to the Vine, the Holy Spirit. This Sunday special guest speaker and cognitive neuroscientist, Dr. Caroline Leaf linked scientific principles of the brain to spiritual, intellectual and emotional issues in a practical way. We have a responsibility to steward and step into God's leading in our minds.  

What is the state of the internal conversation going on in your life? This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey continued in our Motel series, sharing one of David’s Psalms and challenging us to shift our internal dialogue from that which is temporary to the eternal. Through remembering what God has done for us, we overcome the negative thinking that tries to dominate our internal conversation and are free to be a blessing to others. When we remember His goodness, we discover that Grace is a love that will never stop pursuing us.

The earth was always designed as a reflection of heaven. This Sunday, Pastor Josh continued in our Motel series, encouraging us to live out our calling as citizens of Heaven. Jesus is our great leader of this kingdom of grace, and He's given us the rights, privileges, and authority to represent Him here on earth. Through Him, we can live in freedom knowing that His love has secured our future.

God is not afraid of our running; His light will chase darkness down everyday. The battle between faith and fear is constant in the world around us. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on God's eternal purpose in our lives and how faith propels us confidently forward as we rely on the unseen instead of the seen. Fear produces anxiety, but faith produces peace.

We are all on a journey, and God has a place and a spiritual home for each of us. He wants us to live with an eternal perspective to break free from a temporal mindset. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey launched our new series MOTEL sharing on checking out of the temporal to build the eternal. God wants us to lift our eyes to see in a new perspective — what is impossible with man is possible with God.

The Church is God's people. It's His place to save the whole world, to reveal that He is real. This Sunday as we celebrated our 3rd Anniversary as a church, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message on Jesus being the center of our lives and elevating our view of the church as we embark on this next year together. We are a part of the greatest move of God there has ever been. 

Our souls are eternal and can only be satisfied by an eternal God. Our souls thirst just as we thirst physically when we are dehydrated. Are we spiritually dehydrated? We need Jesus, we need living water—this is what our soul craves and desires. This Sunday Pastor Josh Kelsey encouraged us to recognize our thirst. God does not judge us but has come to pour out living water upon our thirsty souls.

Our purpose is tied to God's grace and discovered in our surrender. We reveal the glory of God by enjoying Him above everything else. When we see God we see who we are and see the purpose He has for our lives. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached in our DRIVE series on the moment of surrender being the moment we find our purpose. 

Whenever God gives purpose, it never leaves heaven without grace. At #ALLIN Team Night, Pastor Josh Kelsey shared a message on living the unbalanced, grace-filled, kingdom life as followers of Christ. Serving and building God's House is the purpose of God for every believer. God wants us to lean fully on Him and go all in with our unqualified faith.

Our purpose is built on the trust of Jesus. God wants to rebuild the engine in our hearts to drive us to His purpose for our lives. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey kicked off our new series, DRIVE with an encouraging message on our purpose in Christ. If Jesus is driving us, we will fulfill the purpose He has for our lives.

Jesus has given us an eternal identity. We are preservers of grace—preserving everything that looks like Jesus. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached the final message of our HUMAN series on what it means to be the salt of the earth. We are now the constant reminders, preservers and purifiers of His grace. As salt, we are the living examples and reminders that God's covenant of grace is active and real.

Where is your treasure? We're called to live not burdened by the things of this world, but with our eyes lifted by faith to see there's more to live for. In Christ, we've been given eternal riches beyond compare to the temporal riches of this world. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey encouraged us from the parable of the Rich Fool. God is generous toward us, and as His followers, we're called to be generous toward others.     

The Beatitudes are portals to a new way of thinking. They are not platitudes, but paradoxes. This Sunday, special guest Pastor Brian Zahnd shared in our Human series on the Beatitudes. They offer blessings to those the world would deem 'unblessable.' The Beatitudes are the politics of Jesus in the government of God. If we can become a people formed by the Beatitudes then we will receive comfort and mercy. 

Jesus wants to reform and regenerate our mindset through relationship with Him and prayer. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached on the power of prayer in our lives. God wants us to be shameless, bold, and persistent with Him in our prayers. The answer to our anxiety, stress, and fears will be solved in prayer. 

Jesus uses our experiences as seeds for others to encounter Him and find freedom. Freedom is walking in the identity that God has for us. This Sunday, we had the privilege of hearing from two members of C3 Brooklyn, Nathalie David and Samuel Nicolosi, on the power of being found in Christ.     

This Sunday, guest speaker Dr. Robi Sonderegger, clinical psychologist renowned for taking psychology from the frontline to the home front, shared how understanding and extending forgiveness is central to our faith. Through forgiveness, we become fully alive, learning to reconcile our past in order to get on with our future.

This Sunday, at our Bushwick location, Pastor Mark Kelsey shared an empowering message on overcoming fear. Humanity has been plagued with fear since the garden, but in Christ, the cross enables us to live above fear. Through His death, He's given us access to the presence of God which destroys fear's power in our lives.

The way we are going to change a system of power is by Jesus's radical love. This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a message of hope with authenticity and courage about the important role of the church in our city and nation in light of the events that occurred last week. In a world of oppression and injustice, Jesus examples the way that we can bring to heaven to earth and take down the wall of hostility.

God has an unlimited supply of grace, and the more we use it, the more it multiplies. This Sunday in our HUMAN series, Pastor Josh Kelsey preached a key message on grace out of the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25. Jesus came to change our perspective of the Father so that we don't bury the Spirit of Grace but are free to enjoy life. As His church, we are released to be fully alive, fully joyful, if we dig up and invest His currency of grace.

The more we find Jesus, the closer we get to knowing who we are. He is discovered by revelation and has a blueprint for our lives. At #ALLIN Team Night, Pastor Phil Pringle shared a message on building the church. We can stay humble by keeping ourselves in an environment where we build others up. Our unity builds the House of God.  

In Him we have been made overcomers. This Sunday, Pastor Phil Pringle, the founder and president of the C3 movement, preached on our identity in Christ. We have been given power from God to walk humbly and boldly as His sons and daughters. Through trials and triumphs, we are forgiven, accepted, and highly favored in Him.

What does it mean to be forgiven? This Sunday, Pastor Josh Kelsey shared a message on the power of forgiveness to set us free. In parable, Jesus paints a picture for us of the immensity of forgiveness He extends toward us—and the grace we experience as we forgive others.  At the cross, we're reminded of the debt that was paid, the love that was given, and the life that was sacrificed for us.

God wants to run alongside us and fully participate with us in our lives. This Sunday, Pastor Georgie Kelsey preached a message on living fully alive in Christ in our HUMAN series. Hearing the voice of God is being fully alive in Him in and out of season.
