Sad news today a very talented producer from Angola name Eddhi Cheq passed away a few days back and had to do a special dedication mix to him as I have been a big supporter of this young lad from the get go , His sound was his own with great depths of African Ritual atmosphere through music , his drums patterns was so warm and very rumbling to say the least and also released his first projects on Aluku Records way back in 2012 and has had further releases on D.M Recordings and Kazukuta with so much projects to come in 2016 and was gonna branch out on more label's to grow the vision he wanted for Mwango , so young and passed away in his early 20's who was also a proud father and a proud son which my heart goes out to his close friends and family right now. As alot of people enjoyed Da Capo's "H20 Touch Session" and also has been our biggest download mp3 so far with over 65,000 downloads across the 7 seas in just 5 months of release, But some of you tribal heads was left in the lurch with the non-appearance of tribal sounds So......... when i got to see Nico about this we came up with a plan for Aluku to do a Surreal Sounds mix with a few unreleased tribal tracks by da capo and also a few tracks from the release of surreal sounds vol.1 CD compilations that can only be brought in South Africa via local music retail shops or if you was at he events in Paris and London in Oct 2013 he has them for sale .This mix by Aluku Rebels is a afro deep/tribal/deep journey with a touch of soul...... We are back after the month off in june and this mix was made and dedicated to a aluku listener/supporter over the years name Nkazimulo 'Magzin' Yeni who passed away a few months ago and his close friend contacted us about the tragedy which really touched us so we decided to do and name a session for him ,but first we would like to send our Condolence out to his family,friends and love one's and hope everyone will stay strong through out the years ahead .
