After Hours AM Ghosts of Shepherdstown Psychic Medium Lorie Johnson

Hello, my name is Lorie Johnson, and I'd like to tell you a bit about myself and how I became a psychic medium. Since I was two, I spoke to those who have passed, but because of my father's religion I put it off as being a normal child, and making up playmates. When I became six, I saw my first three spirits laying on cots, along with the smell of burning flesh. I figured they were telling me how they had died. One sat up. He was skinny, no shirt on, and very thin. He looked me right in the eyes and smiled, as if to tell me, 'thing's will be okay'. I smiled back and walked away. I had put that experience off to being a kid, making things up in my mind again. But all my life I had battled demons in my dreams. Not knowing why, and always questioned why the dreams had been so harsh. I often wondered why I always saw the tiny skinny man I had seen when younger before every dream. Knowing now that my abilities were growing each and every day, I finally realized that skinny man was my guardian. He was to show me that things will be okay before the trial of my dream had started. I am a blunt person. I don't hold anything back. If I see it I say it. If they say it I tell it ...

My name is Don Molnar and I am an Internal Medicine doctor who is interested in the paranormal and more specifically ghost hunting. I have been out of training since 2001, prior to that I did 3 years of Internal Medicine residency. I work as a hospitalist now which is a doctor who just takes care of patients in the hosptial. Thoughout my career I have helped a great deal of people get better but I have also treated a lot of people in their end days. As doctors we try to make sure people are not suffering before they die. I have often wondered what happens after they and we die. Part of this project is to talk about what happens medically when we die and my experiences that I have had with people dying. Then I would like to bring those concepts together with my ghost hunting experiences. I have had strange things happen to me for as long as I can remember. I finally joined a ghost hunting team called Twisted Paranormal Society in 2012 and we have done some amazing investigations and have caught some great evidence. So what is the Haunted MD. As the Hauted MD, I am available to do lectures or talks about my experience as a physician and ghost hunter incorpatorating the medical views with the paranormal investigation side of things. I bring a unique perspective that I would like to share with people. I am also available to do small investigations if needed. I will also post interesting facts and items on the site. Thank you for checking out this page! If you have any questions or things you would like to see on this site let me know.

After Hours AM - Psychic Medium Christopher Fleming

On this edition, we talk with Psychic medium Christopher Fleming, We are also joined by speacal guest co-host! About Christopher. "Chris was born in 1967, the son of Patricia Fleming and Chicago Blackhawks’ hockey legend Reggie Fleming. Though he traveled extensively with his parents and sister during his father’s active years playing hockey, Chris spent most of his childhood in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. As early as he can remember, Chris Fleming was prone to experiencing extraordinary encounters in the form of ghosts and unexplained phenomena, from dark shadowy forms coming out of closets and dim corners, to glowing ghosts manifesting above grade school friends during sleepovers. As these experiences increased, Chris–fearfully at first–began studying the ghosts as they moved around the house and even interacted with him. Soon he grew aware of how they used telepathy to hear his thoughts, and even project themselves from one side of the room to another almost instantly. He also learned quickly that his fears were never hidden from them. After several years of encounters, Chris befriended a spirit who introduced himself as Henry. This spirit would warn Chris about other ghosts and entities, as well as tell him things about the spirit world and universe. Chris conversed with Henry on the Ouija board from 1975-1979 before Henry moved on, but one particular conversation stands out in Chris’s memory to this day: One afternoon Chris, who had recently seen the movie Close Encounters, asked Henry if there is life elsewhere in our solar system. Henry answered “Europa,” and when Chris asked what type of life is on Europa, the spirit responded, “Plant and bacteria.” Twenty years later, Chris was folding laundry and listening to CNN in the background when he heard something in the broadcast that caught his attention: a reporter was announcing that scientists now believe there may be plant or bacteria life on the sixth moon of Jupiter, a moon called Europa."

His mother had asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up and +James pointed at the priest and said, “I want to do what he does.” From then on, his calling to serve as a priest grew stronger as the years progressed until he decided to join the seminary and begin his formation.+James attended St. Meinrad College but because of financial problems, the school had to close its doors. Therefore, he transferred to Loyola University in Chicago and graduated. He continued his priestly studies by joining Saint Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. It was during this time that +James began working closely with his spiritual director and through prayer, he decided that God was calling him to serve as a priest within the Independent Catholic Church. Because of his theological differences with the Roman Catholic Church, +James felt that it was better to be ordained within the Independent Catholic Church. This decision was not an easy one and it was a decision that he made out of respect for the Roman Catholic Church and his calling.

double j paranormal radio Take a trip to Grave digger Dave's Halfway house w/ film maker keith hopkins

On this edition we take a trip to Grave Digger Dave's Halfway House. If your a wayward lost soul Grave Digger Dave's is the place for you! That's our guide to the other side in Keith Hopkins new film. About Keith. Keith Hopkins: I’ve been working in TV and film production since 2005, and in Duluth since 2014. I initially wanted to be an illustrator. I grew up loving comic books (and still do). But reality set in when my drawing skills were obviously lackluster. So I began to think about where else I could apply my passion. I realized that what interested me about comics wasn’t the illustrations necessarily, but the sequential storytelling, which you also see in film editing. Although movie making had always seemed like something unattainable, I decided to look into it and really fell in love.

SquatchHERS is Minnesota's Women-Led Cryptid Research Team with a focus on the Cryptid known as Bigfoot.   SquatchHERS is the only group of its kind, and we founded our all-women team in late 2015.  In 2017 we knew change was needed, and with four of the original five founding members onboard, we restructured, changed our name, expanded the scope of our research to include all cryptids, and welcomed in four additional teammates to our exclusive research team.  Eight strong, our members hail from all parts of Minnesota making it easy for us to get to areas of reported Bigfoot activity quickly. The majority of our team members are also active paranormal investigators and have years of experience in the paranormal field, making us well versed in investigative technique.  Critical thinking with a healthy dose of skepticism are always employed as we search for absolute proof of Bigfoot and other cryptids, as we utilize the investigative skills we have learned over years of paranormal investigation.

Double J Paranormal Radio: Mike O'Neil founder of Odyssey paranormal investigations

On this edition we talk with Paranormal investigator Michael O'Neil. Michael O’Neil – DirectorGrowing up, I had always had a fascination with the paranormal. This was before “paranormal” was even a term that people even knew existed. Once I was older and learned that this was a field of study and something that people were actually able to investigate and help people with, I knew that I had to find out more information.Like many people, I watched all the TV shows, and read tons of books, but none of it will ever compare to the first night I was able to join a paranormal team on one of their investigations. Spending the next few years learning all I could about what it means to be a Paranormal Investigator has given me the knowledge, and respect, to have been able to put together my own team filled with people who are not only just as passionate about the paranormal as I am, but have the same desire to help those in need in any way possible.

Then I would like to bring those concepts together with my ghost hunting experiences. I have had strange things happen to me for as long as I can remember. I finally joined a ghost hunting team called Twisted Paranormal Society in 2012 and we have done some amazing investigations and have caught some great evidence. So what is the Haunted MD.As the Hauted MD, I am available to do lectures or talks about my experience as a physician and ghost hunter incorpatorating the medical views with the paranormal investigation side of things. Double J Paranormal Radio - We talk with the shesquatchers

On this episode we talk with one of the only all female Bigfoot hunters shesquatchers.I am a natural-born healer, psychic medium & animal communicator.  I grew up on a hobby farm in Minnesota & spent much of my free time walking in the woods, feeling so connected to nature.  This is where I began forming the belief that energy is a language that all animals, plants & spirits speak.     While interviewing crytozoologist, LOREN COLEMAN, for my weekly radio show - Loren said he believes that a woman will be the first to have real interaction with Bigfoot.  I volunteered right then and there during the interview!  Loren inspired us to form this SheSquatchers team & it's been an exciting adventure already!      " JENA GROVER - Team Member"I had what appeared to be a very normal Christian upbringing on a farm in Northern Minnesota. I love animals and nature was and is one of my best friends. I have been intuitive/sensitive since my youth, but struggled to understand & trust the things I was sensing. I felt spirits were trying to get my attention & that they wanted me to share my experiences with others.I had a NDE (near death experience) in 2009 and after I finally awoke from a coma, I felt completely changed by the experience. Life suddenly had new meaning. I wanted more than ever to investigate and expand my own abilities, to trust my premonitions and to surround myself with others that share my interests.

I have had lots of spiritual events happen in my life. After seeing the Ghost Hunters on TV, I started to think....is this really real? Can we do this? I asked some friends if they wanted to check out a bar where I worked for many years for paranormal activity. On that investigation I was doing a EVP, and I asked "if anyone is here and would like to say anything to me or to anyone, feel free to speak". It took a few seconds then voice said "Its over....Jerry!" That was directed to me! I was totally hooked after that, so my wife and I decided to start SIM. After all these years of investigating the paranormal, I found I have psychic abilities that are getting stronger with time. I am also a smoke reader and host of a weekly radio show called The Calling Radio Show!

Where did von Däniken’s extraordinary notions come? He writes in the preface to the anniversary edition of Chariots of the Gods, “I come from a very Catholic family in Switzerland and my father decided that I would have a theologically-oriented education. So he enrolled 16-year old Erich at Collège St-Michel, a Jesuit boarding school in Fribourg, Switzerland. At that time, my conception of God was magnificent and simultaneously incomprehensible – and has remained so to this day. I always thought God – who or what that was – had to exhibit some minimum features. The true God would be flawless and could do no wrong. He would have to be omnipresent and need no vehicle to get from point A to point B. In particular, God would be timeless. God could not be something that did experiments and then must wait to see what resulted. Those were the thoughts my confused 16-year old brain had about God,” he writes.

The diverse range of media featured in this exhibition—including sculpture, paintings, prints, photography, costumes, ancient artifacts, books, maquettes and film—totals approximately 500 objects and reflects the broad and alluring scope of del Toro’s inspirations. Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters debuted at the AGO on Sept. 30, 2017 and runs to Jan. 7, 2018.Guillermo del Toro (b. 1964) is one of the most inventive filmmakers of his generation. Working with a team of craftsmen, artists, and actors—and referencing a wide range of cinematic, pop-culture, and art- historical sources—del Toro recreates the lucid dreams he experienced as a child in Guadalajara, Mexico. He now works globally out of a cherished home base he calls “Bleak House” in the suburbs of Los Angeles.“To find beauty in the profane. To elevate the banal. To be moved by genre. These things are vital for my storytelling,” says Guillermo del Toro. “This exhibition presents a small fraction of the things that have moved me, inspired me, and consoled me as I transit through life. It’s a devotional sampling of the enormous love that is required to create, maintain, and love monsters in our lives.”The exhibition is organized into eight thematic sections, including: Childhood and Innocence, exploring the central role children often play in del Toro’s films; Victoriana, loosely referencing the Romantic, Victorian, and Edwardian ages and latter-day interpretation of the Victorian era; Rain Room, a recreation of a favorite spot in del Toro’s personal residence (“Bleak House”) where he installed a false window with special effects to simulate a perpetual thunderstorm; Magic, Alchemy, and the Occult, exploring the many puzzles, talismans, secret keys and quests for forbidden knowledge that appear in del Toro’s films; Movies, Comics and Pop Culture, delving into the scope of his obsession with cinema, from B-movies and horror films to Alfred Hitchcock and Luis Buñuel; Frankenstein and Horror, revealing del Toro’s lifelong love affair with the tale of Dr. Frankenstein and his monster; Freaks and Monsters, considering del Toro’s fascination with monsters of all types, from those found in horror movies to those in nature, literature, myth and art; Death and the Afterlife, which speaks to the disturbing confrontations with death that del Toro experienced growing up in Guadalajara, Mexico, in the late 1960s and ’70s.

After Hours AM : Edgar Allan Poe: Buried Alive writer and director Eric Stange.

In a Halloweeny and evocative episode of After Hours AM/America's Most Haunted Radio — scintillating paranormal talk radio with hosts Joel Sturgis and Eric Olsen, — we unveil the man behind the image with Edgar Allan Poe: Buried Alive writer and director Eric Stange. We talk with Eric Top of Hour 2; at Hour 1 Joel and Eric We play new CreepyPasta ghost tales for your Halloween listening pleasure. Plus news from the America's Most Haunted Twitter feed.In American Masters' Edgar Allan Poe: Buried Alive, writer and director Eric Stange draws on Edgar Allan Poe's ineffable imagery and taut plots to tell the real story of the legendary author and poet's life. The dramatic documentary film features Kathleen Turner as narrator and award-winning actor Denis O'Hare (This Is Us, American Horror Story) as Poe; and explores the misleading, deeply entrenched caricature of Poe as morbid alcoholic madman, not unlike the narrators of his horror stories. This caricature is thanks, in large part, to a high-profile obituary filled with falsehoods, written by his literary rival Rufus W. Griswold. The film reveals the way in which Poe tapped into what it means to be an American and human being at the dawning of the modern age.Fiercely intelligent and determined to re-invent American literature, Poe was an influential literary critic and magazine editor, inventor of the modern detective story, and refiner of the science fiction genre. Yet, he is remembered primarily for a dozen horror stories and his narrative poem "The Raven." Fittingly, Poe died under mysterious circumstances, but the real question at the heart of this film is why Poe continues to be one of the most popular writers in the history of Western literature, and one of the most misunderstood. The film premieres nationwide Monday, October 30 at 9 p.m. on PBS and will be available to stream the following day, Halloween, via pbs.org/americanmasters and PBS apps.Filmed in Boston Harbor's historic Fort Independence at Castle Island, Edgar Allan Poe: Buried Alive combines dramatized re-enactments with O'Hare of key moments in Poe's life, readings from Poe's works by O'Hare, Oscar-nominated actor Chris Sarandon (The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Princess Bride, Dog Day Afternoon) and actor Ben Schnetzer (Snowden, Goat, Pride) and interviews with authors including Marilynne Robinson (Gilead), Matthew Pearl (The Poe Shadow), Jeffrey Meyers (Edgar Allan Poe: His Life and Legacy) and Zach Dundas (The Great Detective), and director Roger Corman (Poe film cycle including House of Usher) .

After Hours AM paranormal investigators Amy Bruni and Adam Berry, stars of KINDRED SPIRITS

On a sensationally star-studded edition of After Hours AM/America's Most Haunted Radio — paranormal talk hour 2 with hosts Joel Sturgis and Eric Olsen — we visit with celebrated paranormal investigators Amy Bruni and Adam Berry, stars of KINDRED SPIRITS, now in its second season on TLC. We talk with Amy and Adam. Hour 1; at 9pE Joel and Eric review the week's most edifying paranormal news from the America's Most Haunted Twitter feed. Season 2 of TLC's hit series KINDRED SPIRITS — airing Fridays at 9/8c — follows renowned ghost hunters Amy Bruni and Adam Berry as they help people tormented by paranormal activity in their homes. Frightened by mysterious activity but hesitant to pick up and leave, desperate families have turned to two of America's leading paranormal investigators to capture evidence, help them overcome their fear, take back their homes, and reclaim their lives. In this week's episode, fittingly airing on Friday the 13th, Amy and Adam are contacted by a couple in Somersworth, N.H., whose three children have been targeted by invisible forces in their home. Two are visited at night by a spirit that speaks to them, and the other was strangled by invisible forces. Amy and Adam know that strangulation, midnight visits and bizarre voices are a dangerous combination. They learn that a couple of blocks away from the house was the site of what was dubbed "The Murder of the Century" in 1897, in which Joseph Kelley killed a bank cashier. Even more shocking, a gravestone is discovered in the homeowner's backyard. Kindred-Spirits-620 AMY BRUNI Amy Bruni first encountered paranormal activity as a six-year-old when her family moved to Alameda, California. Her family had no idea their home was haunted until Amy witnessed a full-body apparition of a man dressed in green. Years later, Amy discovered the ghost was the landlord's son who died in World War II. Amy's family encouraged her to not let the paranormal world spook her, but instead to embrace it. Amy's been chasing ghosts ever since. In fact, her father started taking her on paranormal investigations when she was only nine! As Amy got older, her fascination kept growing. In her twenties, Amy spent her weekends flying to haunted locations and conducting her own investigations. Her passion for the paranormal became a full-time job when she joined SyFy's Ghost Hunters in 2007. Amy founded Strange Escapes a few years ago, a paranormal travel agency that pairs people with the largest and most haunted locations in the United States. In between speaking at paranormal events and investigating ghosts, Amy stays at home in Massachusetts raising her daughter Charlotte. kindred-spirits-season-2-premiere ADAM BERRY Adam Berry grew up in the small town of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and had more paranormal experiences in his childhood than most people do in a lifetime. But unlike Amy, the spirits Adam faced terrorized him. When he was just nine years old, Adam saw a paranormal creature haunting his home. It looked like a menacing ghost dog, and Adam couldn't escape the harrowing sound of the dog scratching against the wall. His TV mysteriously glowed even though it was turned off. In 2006, Adam had his most intense experience in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He saw massive white figures in a field, and heard loud gunshots and people yelling. He rushed to the paranormal sights and sounds, and found no explanation for what he witnessed. This event sparked his interest in the paranormal. In just a few years, Adam quickly progressed from unknown paranormal novice to well-respected researcher. His newfound passion led him to compete on Ghost Hunters Academy, which landed him a spot on Ghost Hunters in 2010. In addition to hosting paranormal conferences, Adam runs a musical theater in Massachusetts,

After Hours AM: infamous mysterious three-fingered mummy bodies with paranormal legends Stephen Mera and Barry Fitzgerald.

On a groundbreaking and sensational edition of After Hours AM/America's Most Haunted Radio — with hosts Joel Sturgis and Eric Olsen — we journey to Peru to examine the infamous mysterious three-fingered mummy bodies with paranormal legends Stephen Mera and Barry Fitzgerald. Steve and Barry join us Hour 2; In Hour 1.Joel and Eric reveal the week's hottest paranormal news. For many years there have been countless claims of amazing discoveries, from fairy-like small winged beings, to coastal discoveries of strange washed up creatures, to small mummified alien-looking beings. All have turned out to be hoaxes or cases of mistaken identity. However the recent discoveries of the three fingered beings in Peru has been somewhat challenging…Before the images of the large body, known as "Maria" exploded across the internet this summer, we first lay sight on her back in April when we received photographs of her in hope of helping with identification. After a careful examination of the photographs, we decided that we would have to become physically involved if we were to find any answers. On July 5th of this year we headed out to Peru via Manchester Airport. We arrived in Cusco and were immediately met by painfully thin air due to its altitude of 11,000 feet. This was something that was to develop into altitude sickness: a daily dose of lightheadedness, gasping to catch your breath, and early morning vomiting. This was going to be the most challenging investigation we had ever taken. We first met with Thierry Jamin of the Inkari Institute in Cusco where he revealed quite a fascinating story. We were told that the discoverers of these bodies had simply delivered them to the institute and dumped them on the counter asking them to identify these bodies. Not only did they feel an obligation to try to find out what these things were, but were driven by absolute fascination. They had heard of ancient stories of three fingered beings from the ancestors of the Inca's and had even come across numerous references and petroglyphs showing drawings of these beings, but never did they ever think they might come face-to-face with one..We learned that dealing with these discoverers was a tricky business. They were secretive, dangerous even, and attempting to gain monetary value for such discoveries, apparently selling such things on the black market. At this time, we had no idea we were about to be thrown head first into a world of deceit, covert meetings, and a possible discrediting campaigns. We were told that the bodies were discovered in a tomb in Nazca. Inside were two Sacofocuses, one of which contained around 20 small bodies, all of which around two feet in length, some missing their heads which were later found throughout the interconnecting tunnels. There was even claims of discoverers seeing live entities fleeing down tunnels on arrival. As for Maria and a smaller one that looks to represent a child that has been named ‘Wawita', they were both found partially buried in the ground that seemed to consist of diatomaceous earth. In the early hours of July 7th we received a phone call, presumably from the discoverers allowing us to have access to the bodies for a full examination and review of scans and X-rays. This came in the form of being collected by someone from the hotel. We were not allowed to film the driver, nor identify the vehicle and location we were going. It was highly secret due to the Peruvian government on the hunt for the bodies and those who found them. We had heard that there had been several police raids in an attempt to locate these discoveries. The trip took almost an hour, up and out of Cusco into the mountains. It was becoming harder and harder to breathe as we climbed, the car itself was also struggling for air as the engine spluttered several times. The roads became unnamed dirt paths. Though we managed to get a little footage, we were eventually instructed to turn all cameras off. Ten minutes later we (continued)

One morning, he awoke to the smell of breakfast filling his family's house. He saw who he thought was his mother in a pink robe cooking at the stove. He left the room to clean up before grabbing a plate only to return and find the kitchen empty. Porter then realized that his entire family had left earlier that morning to run errands and his mother didn't own a pink robe. Holmes, Jeff Mudgett, is determined to prove a mind-boggling theory: that H.H. Holmes and Britain's notorious serial killer, Jack the Ripper, were the same man. In addition, Mudgett leads an investigation that secured permission to exhume the presumed body of H.H. Holmes for DNA testing to determine whether he pulled off the ultimate con, escaping the gallows to lead a second secret life.Herman Mudgett, alias H.H. Holmes, was one of America's first serial killers, rumored to have claimed as many as 200 lives in the late 19th century. A con man, opportunist and evil genius, the crowning achievement of his dark deeds was the construction of a building later dubbed the Murder Castle: a hotel on Chicago's south side that he engineered to be a factory of death, complete with a gas chamber, dissection room, trap doors and a basement furnace to destroy any trace of his sinister work.Nearly simultaneously, a still-unidentified murderer known as Jack the Ripper was terrorizing prostitutes on the grim streets of London's Whitechapel district. From the moment 20 years ago when Mudgett's world was shaken at the revelation that he was the descendant of H.H. Holmes, he became obsessed with acquiring information about his ancestor. Through extensive research, he began to believe the bold theory that Holmes was also Ripper. Now, the retired attorney has partnered with former CIA criminologist, Amaryllis Fox, who has spent her career identifying terrorists across the globe, to launch a deeper investigation.HH Holmes Jack the RipperAmerican Ripper hunts down evidence to prove a link between these two monstrous men including: Holmes's personal copy of his published memoir, housed at the Library of Congress; clues about his earliest victims in Holmes' hometown and childhood home of Gilmanton, N.H.; crime scene evidence from the Jack the Ripper murders including photos, eyewitness accounts and coroners' reports; new interviews with numerous historians and detectives; and new leads in the search for long-lost remains of Holmes' many victims.Jeff Mudgett American RipperJeff Mudgett was living a normal life as a practicing attorney when at age 40 he was thrust into the most harrowing chapter of his life. After Hours AM (Smiley Face Killer) with Former FBI Special Agent John DeSouza

Tonight on a shocking special episode of After Hours AM/The Criminal Code — with hosts Joel Sturgis, Eric Olsen, and forensic psychologist Dr. Clarissa Cole — we plunge into the watery domain of the Smiley Face Killer with former FBI agent and author John DeSouza. Is there a demented serial killer or killers stalking and killing drunken college bros across the nation and leaving a smiley face as a calling card? Or is the linkage of 40 tragic drowning deaths a figment of the febrile imaginations of two retired NYPD detectives?Smiley Face Killers victimsIn 2008 retired New York police detectives Frank Gannon and Anthony Duarte announced an amazing and alarming serial killer(s) theory. They theorized that starting in 1997, across eleven states from New York to Minnesota, about 40 corpses that had been fished from bodies of water including rivers, lakes, and ponds exhibited too many similarities to be coincidental, to wit:Victims were white, college-aged males Gannon and Duarte described as "athletic, good-looking, and academically successful." Could there be one or more "clumsy, ugly, and dumb" killers out there motivated by resentment and envy? All victims were out drinking at local bars or parties on the evening they disappeared. In a dozen or more cases, smiley faces were found painted near where the detectives determined victims' bodies had been dumped into the water.Virtually all of these "drowning victims" were discovered in northern states during the winter. Very peculiar in itself, but even odder when you consider that there has been no similar pattern of alcohol-related drownings in more southerly states, at any time of year. Some disappearances occurred on the same night in different states, leading the detectives to conclude that a "well-structured" organization of killers was responsible. While most of the deaths are still classified as accidental drownings, two of the cases, those of Patrick O'Neil in Manhattan in 1997 and of Chris Jenkins in Minneapolis in 2008, were eventually classified as homicides.Despite all of this, on the other side of the coin, most investigators say the deaths are merely tragic coincidences. Who is right?

After Hours AM Author of "Confrontation with Evil" Steven LaChance

Join us for a plunge down the rabbit hole on After Hours AM/America's Most Haunted Radio — with Joel Sturgis and Eric Olsen — as we discuss the notorious 1949 St. Louis possession with author Steven LaChance, whose CONFRONTATION WITH EVIL book casts new light on the iconic case that inspired THE EXORCIST. We will talk with Steven in hour 2; In hour 1 Joel and Eric will cast a light into the gloom and review the week's paranormal news. One of the most disturbing, influential and famous cases of demonic possession in America, the story of possessed child "Roland Doe" was immortalized in the groundbreaking novel and film THE EXORCIST. Much has been written about the case, but the truth has been elusive, until now, with the publication of Steven LaChance's CONFRONTATION WITH EVIL: AN IN-DEPTH REVIEW OF THE 1949 POSSESSION THAT INSPIRED The Exorcist. The horror began ramping up in January 1949 with a dripping sound behind the walls of a Cottage City, Md., house. Then a crucifix on the wall began to shake unnaturally. The dripping sound gave way to a scratching noise beneath the floorboards in one of the bedrooms, which in turn yielded to high-pitched squeak and then a violently shaking bed. Within a few weeks, 13-year-old "Roland Doe" became possessed, his body battered, bruised and nearly torn broken by a spirit, leading to a brutal, extended struggle to free him.St. Louis 1949 possession houseAuthor and haunting survivor Steven A. LaChance shares the shocking evidence for how a family's grief over the death of an aunt progressed into a full-blown demonic possession. While the conventional story is that Roland Doe brought the demonic infestation upon himself, LaChance suggests an alternative interpretation, and provides new insights into the nature of possession itself. The events of 1949 culminated in grueling exorcism rites, but the story doesn't end there as LaChance guides readers through the stunning aftermath that forever changed the Catholic church and the city of St. Louis.Steven LaChance lived through what some call one of the most violent haunting cases in history. In 2012, in an unprecedented move the Roman Catholic Church issued a 156 page report calling his haunting a clear case of demonic infestation, oppression, and possession. The haunting lasted for ten years. In October 2006, the Discovery Channel premiered its third season of its hit show A HAUNTING with an episode featuring Steven, his family, and friends on the haunting titled "Fear House." After Hours AM / Criminal Code The D. B. Cooper Case with Tom Kaye

Welcome to a brand new weekly True Crime show as After Hours AM joins forces with The Criminal Code, with hosts Joel Sturgis, Eric Olsen, and forensic psychologist Dr. Clarissa Cole! On tonight's inaugural episode, we dive headlong into new developments in the notorious D.B. Cooper skyjacking case with researcher and scientist Tom Kaye, who was recently featured on Travel Channel's EXPEDITION UNKNOWN with tantalizing new forensic evidence 45 years after the crime. We will speak with Tom in hour 2. Hour 1. Joel, Eric, and Clarissa will review and analyze the week's hot True Crime news and banter amiably.D.B. Cooper CaseOn November 24, 1971, a man in his 40s wearing a dark a business suit identifying himself as "Dan Cooper" bought a ticket on a Northwest Orient flight from Portland to Seattle. Just after takeoff he handed a note to the flight attendant claiming he had a bomb in his briefcase and demanding $200,000 in cash, four parachutes, and a second plane to Mexico City once the plane landed in Seattle. On the ground in Seattle he released the other passengers, stayed on the plane and instructed that he be flown at low altitude and slow speed to Mexico. In the vicinity of Reno, Nevada, he parachuted out the back of the plane to an uncertain fate. It is the only unsolved skyjacking in U.S. history. Some of the money was found by a boy digging in sand along the Columbia River north of Portland in 1980, but the FBI closed its investigation of the case in July of 2016, in essence throwing in the towel.Tom Kaye - D.B. Cooper caseAccording to investigator and scientist Tom Kaye of Citizen Sleuths, in the entire Cooper case, there are only two real pieces ofD.B. Cooper Tie useful physical evidence currently available: the black tie and the ransom money found on the Columbia River. While the money points to what happened after Cooper jumped, it is only the tie that points to where he came from and the life he led. Of all the possible things for him to leave on the plane, the tie was incredibly fortunate for this investigation. A tie is one of the only articles of clothing that isn't washed on a regular basis. It picks up dirt and grime just like any other piece of clothing, but that accumulation never truly gets ‘reset' in the washing machine. Each of those particles comes from something and somewhere and can tell a story if the proper instruments like electron microscopes are used. In 1971, electron microscopes were not in common use and there is no evidence one was used in this case, therefore it is believed that this is the first time this level of investigation has been used to examine the tie.All of the particles from the tie shown in this research are too small for the human eye to see directly and are much smaller than even a particle of dust. Kaye and his team used a powerful electron microscope to find more than 100,000 particles of "rare earth elements" on the tie, including pure titanium. Titanium was a rare metal in 1971, and linked Cooper to a "limited number of managers or engineers in the titanium field that would wear ties to work."Listen to the program to hear the startling conclusions of the tie analysis and more!Tom KayeTom Kaye, Director of Citizen Sleuths and Foundation for Scientific Advancement, Sierra Vista, AZTom Kaye's main scientific interest is spectroscopy which branches out into the fields of paleontology and astrophysics. In paleontology, he leads yearly expeditions to recover dinosaur bones. He is directly involved in the controversy over the detection of preserved blood cells and blood vessels in T. Rex bones where his work points to a bacterial source. In astrophysics he leads a team of astronomers that are trying to discover an extrasolar planet using spectroscopy to detect the stars wobble. Recently he has been working on the Chinese Feathered Dinosaurs.

After Hours AM THE KILLING SEASON with Joshua Zeman and Rachel Mills

On a shocking and compelling episode of After Hours AM/America's Most Haunted Radio — with hosts Joel Sturgis and Eric Olsen — we talk with documentary filmmakers Josh Zeman and Rachel Mills about their new true crime series on A&E investigating the Long Island Serial Killer, The Killing Season. We talk with Josh and Rachel in hour2 – in hour1 Joel and Eric present the week's freaky paranormal news and give thoughts on the presidential election. The Killing Season — premiering with two back-to-back episodes Saturday, November 12 on A&E at 9/8c — is a riveting documentary series digging very deeply into a succession of murders on Long Island, attributed to the Long Island Serial Killer (LISK). The eight episode series from executive producers Alex Gibney (Enron, Going Clear, Taxi to the Darkside) and Josh Zeman (Cropsey, Killer Legends) follows documentarians, Zeman and Rachel Mills as they investigate one of the most baffling and intriguing unsolved serial killer cases of our time — ten dead sex workers discovered on Gilgo Beach, Long Island, four laid out along Ocean Parkway like trophies.Authorities believe these killings are the work of the Long Island Serial Killer, who after five years remains at large. Many of the victims, often referred to as the "Missing Missing," are never accounted for and their murders are far less likely to be solved. Forging relationships with a motley alliance of cyber-sleuths, journalists and victim's families, Zeman and Mills uncover connections that suggest Long Island is just the beginning. Zeman and Mills uncover a web of eerie connections to unsolved murders from Atlantic City to Daytona Beach and beyond — revealing that serial killers are targeting sex workers in record numbers, using Craig's List and similar listing sites on the Internet as their virtual hunting ground. The Killing Season Rachel and JoshIn the first episode, "Whoever Fears Monsters," we find that police have discovered the bodies of ten murder victims along a desolate stretch of highway on Long Island. Police realize they are all connected to the sex trade, but the trail quickly goes cold. Five years later the identity of the killer remains a mystery and local law enforcement has done little to calm the nerves of an anxious community, and though, very well aware of the dangers, escorts are still making their services available via the internet. As Josh and Rachel set out to document the case of the Long Island Serial Killer they quickly find themselves entangled in a quest to find the killer – they become part of the story. With the help of a growing amateur web sleuthing community, Josh and Rachel uncover a tale of deceit and ignorance that takes them deep inside the world of online escorting. In episode two, "The Most Dangerous Game," amateur profiler Peter Brendt's shocking theory that two distinct MO's are present among the victims and theorizes that two active serial killers are responsible for the ten bodies discovered along Ocean Parkway compels Josh and Rachel to examine a series of mysterious torso killings ascribed to the "Butcher of Manorville" which have become linked to the Long Island Serial Killer case. The filmmakers have an unexpected breakthrough when they locate the former pimp of one of these victims who in his first media interview points out major flaws in the Long Island Serial Killer investigation. The interview prompts Josh and Rachel to reexamine a crucial piece of evidence, which is stirring an online rumor mill when a potential suspect commits suicide. Meanwhile, a web sleuth shares a promising lead for a match to one of the unidentified that could break the case wide open. The Killing Season – Joshua ZemanJoshua Zeman has been at the forefront of the true crime genre for the past decade. His critically acclaimed horror documentary CROPSEY, a critic's pick with The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Roger Ebert, was called "one of the year's best documentaries" a(continued)
