About Vincenzo Salvia
I grew up in a cloudy city in southern Italy, and music has always been a part of my life. At a young age, I started playing with my mother's wooden spoons, and then began taking piano lessons after breaking all my straw chairs while playing "In the Air Tonight". When I was 14, I switched to guitar and played in various rock and metal bands, performing live concerts throughout Italy. In 2004, I fell in love with electronic music and started my first one-man-band project, "Schatten". In 2011, I changed my moniker to my real name, Vincenzo Salvia, and began working on music for TV commercials and soundtracks. My breakthrough came in 2012 when I released "Voyage", my first synthwave album, and officially entered the scene. In 2017, I moved to Milan and began performing live in Italy and around Europe. 2018 was a significant year for me, as my track "Italian Gigolo" was featured in the first episode of Stranger Things 3.
