ThePaperSnakes are a band from St Albans, Hertfordshire who where originally formed by Paul the lead singer / guitarist and Chris who plays the bass in 2006. They have known each other for a while and have always discussed the possibility of getting together to jam and create new songs from their different backgrounds and experience in playing music. Almost a year went by with various recordings completed out of Paul's garage studio, however the love of playing live music, rather than studio based was always pressing the two founder band members to think of bigger things. Paul knew Andy another guitarist / singer and by chance bumped into him in late 2006 and discussed his current project with Chris. Andy indicated the desire to also play music again and the third member of the band was recruited. The final and fourth member of the band, Mike who plays the drums, lives around the corner from Paul and through an introduction by the pub landlord (also close friend of Mike's), he became the fourth member of the band.
