About Mr Haze
Mr Haze is a french Roots Reggae Dubmaster and composer. He began his project in 2005 when he recorded his first compositions with help of french roots reggae band Kayans. at this period, he released his first E.P. called "Soul Roots", a psychedelic mix of reggae & dub compositions. He was surrounded by several musicians/singers of his area in this first effort. N'Dondoman, Ebene, Jimaï (Kayans) Soon after he began to work with one of the most talentuous reggae singer and multi-instrument musician from his area called Mam (Life Tree, I Sight) From that, he began to work with a new coming dub band leaded by Saymon (drums) which took name of Sons of Africa when playing for him. Together, they played live concert and recorded a lot of material in Roots Vibes studio during this period. By 2008, the association of Mr Haze and the dub band took a break to permit the musicians to do other individual or collective projects. Now, Mr Haze continue with the hard core of the collective to prepare the first compilation of his label Roots Vibes which will be a synthesis of this second period with S.O.A. In the same time, from 2005 to 2012, Mr Haze as mixer/engineer and/or producer did collaborations with numerous national and international reggae artists. Max Romeo, Ricky Grant, Tetrack, Earl Zero, Ebene, Mam, N'Dondoman, Kayans, City Kay, Cactus, Les Reskapés... A part of this work is already released by the artists and the other part, the Roots Vibes only productions will be soon.
