« L’essence de la révolte »…Moins que l’esprit revendicatif, c’est le sentiment de colère, l’énergie collective, la violence frontale véhiculés par ce nom que le combo entend faire transparaître dans sa musique. Moins qu’un porte-voix politique, les textes veulent dépeindre une condition humaine en déclin, dans une société urbaine et déshumanisée.Portées par un Thrash-Métal moderne et brutal, l’identité et les paroles de Fuel for Riot se veulent avant tout malsaines et enragées, confrontant l’Homme à son environnement, à sa psychologie, à ses dérives, à l’image des univers cinématographiques et littéraires de Gaspard Noé (« Seul contre tous », « Irréversible »), David Lynch (« Twin Peaks »), Terry Gilliam (« Brazil ») ou James Ellroy (« Clandestine »).Issus de différentes formations parisiennes (Drifting Breed, Swatt, Alésia), les 5 franciliens se sont réunis en 2007 pour fonder Fuel for Riot. Depuis lors, le groupe s’est attelé à digérer ses influences musicales (Machine Head, Sepultura, Black Label Society, The Haunted…), à construire son identité et distiller celle-ci dans sa musique. Ce processus se concrétise aujourd’hui avec la sortie du 1er Maxi CD…car il est temps pour Fuel for Riot de partager sa « révolte » et de faire parler la poudre…sur scène !! « Fuel for riot »… Less than a protesting attitude, it is the feeling of wrath, the mass energy, the head-on violence that the band intend to hide away in their music. Less than a political megaphone, the lyrics intend to depict the human condition in decline in an urbanized and dehumanized society.Keen on a modern and brutal Thrash Metal, Fuel For Riot’s identity and lyrics are before all unhealthy and furious, confronting man to his environment,  to his psychology and to his drifts as shown in films and literature universes of Gaspar Noé (Seul contre tous, Irréversible), David Lynch (Twin Peaks), Terry Gilliam (Brazil) or James Ellroy (Clandestine).Descended from different Paris bands (Drifting Breed, Swatt, Alésia), the 5 Paris musicians got together in 2007 to found Fuel For Riot. Since then, the band have been working on guiding their musical influences (Machine Head, Sepultura, Black Label Society, the Haunted…) building their identity and melting it into their  music. This process is materializing today with the release of their first EP…because it’s time for Fuel For Riot to share their revolt and to bring out powder…on stage !!
