"Housewives and Real Lives Chit Chat" ft. Elle Murasaki
In this episode, I got to talk to Elle Murasaki from Housewives and Chitchat @housewivesandchitchat and I could have talked to her for hours and hours and hours (which we did before we even started recording.) And we got into all the things! We talked about Ye and the need for all communities, especially ours to come together and speak out against his behavior (and this was before we knew of his recent continued hateful rhetoric,) being black content creators, growing up and going to school in all white spaces, which then leads to a conversation about the housewives we watch and why some things for some of us aren’t always entertainment and can truly be triggering… Especially Potomac. And speaking of Potomac, we talk about the housewife she went to high school with that inspired her to join the technology club to make sure there was always black representation (spoiler…it’s our CandeeGal) and who she has known Candiace to be based off of her personal experiences with her. My good sis Elle spoke to my soul this episode. And I truly cannot wait to talk to her again! Make sure to follow Elle on all her platforms! We start out talking RHOA… OUR GIRLS ARE BACK! And somehow that leads us into ALL THE TINGS! Williams please with Carlos King and Kingdom Reign at the helm) the energy viewers have for non melanated housewives vs the melanated ones and a whole lotta stuff that may or may not get me kicked off Elon’s internet (because that’s what it seems like it’s coming to.) Kendrick was so gracious to use his lunch hour to record with me and when I tell you even though it was lunchtime, this episode satisfied me like a full dinner meal, palate cleanser and a dessert. We start out touching briefly on our girls on the East Coast, the melanated Queens of RHOP. We talk about the goal post continuously moving and the hypocrisy of some of the cast and some of us viewers. Then we get into RHOSLC and our girl Mary. We talk about the cult chatter (it may very well be, but we will wait and see) and the questioning of her finances (Mary has businesses outside of church) and our own personal experiences with pastors we know that have real live Monday-Friday daytime jobs, outside of their pastoral duties. And how taking a vow of poverty is a personal choice, NOT a biblical mandate and is NOT required of leaders. And lastly we talk about everyone’s new Peacock favorite, the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. We talk the Cynthia/Kenya relationship, that fine Melissa Gorga and how it seems as if Bravo was ok with sending black women in to deal with a housewife from New York who had racist claims against her corroborated. We talk about The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and Jen Shah's speech in part 3 of the reunion (what we felt as black woman watching, viewers reaction to it and the messages people sent that were dismissing the voices of black women who felt that she was co-opting our experiences), how being in a relationship with a black person does not make you subject to black experiences by proxy, other races' expectations of how Black people support them, Mary and her seemingly internalized self- hate and understanding where that comes from, colorism, and what it truly feels like to walk through this world as a black person/woman. And the exciting things happening for Sasha that are a win for the community! And always, shout out to my foreva’ #podcastproducer @cbreezzzey 💋♥️The Bravo Breakdown Support the show

I am so happy to have Brooke Ashley aka The Doll aka @the_brooke_ashley back on the mic! This episode was so much fun and such a treat! We talked about Atlanta and Bolo (Chanel anyone) and how we weren't here for Private Eye Kenya (but who was she talking about) and the energy between Porsha and Bolo. Then we went west and talked the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion. We touched on Jen and her housewives starting point to where she is now, her use of hot button issues to deflect from her own behavior, Mary and internalized self hate and the way Heather seemed to do a 180 on a dime. And we had a fun little detour about Valentines day, dating and housewives who reach out to You tubers and social media accounts to gain fan leverage. As always, The Doll was on point! In this episode Donny Hadfield-Smith, co-host of Know That podcast and host of Truly Anything podcast and his husband Quinten Lamar (aka Quin) co-host of Know That podcast and host of This Is Gonna Be Good podcast, join me and Producer Cory for a couples conversation. We start out talking to Donny and Quinn about how they met, what led up to their first date and when they knew it was love (or at least when they knew they needed to live together.)Then we get deep and talk about navigating this world as an interracial couple as Donny is white and Quinn is black. We talk their family and friends reactions, the micro-agressions that Donny grew to recognize and how he learned what being anti-racist truly is. And Quinn shared the realization he came to about his expectations of Donny and his appreciation that Donny truly has his back and is always receptive to his feelings. And we finish by playing a fun Bravo couples themed game that involved a Summerhouse and a Winterhouse of couples...This is truly one of me and producer Cory's favorite episodes. "Dr. Monica O'Neal: Harvard, Camp Getaway and the Consciousness of America"
This week I had the pleasure of speaking with @dr.monica aka Black Girl Magic! Dr. Mo and I got into some of everything including how she came to be a psychologist at Harvard University and what that was like as a black woman, her time at UNC Chapel Hill that impacted how she felt about being black and the pride that comes with it, the thoughtful conversation she had with Bravo executives prior to filming about the portrayal of Black women in tv and how Bravo was not only willing to listen but also responded positively by making an effort to diversify the film crew. She also talked about how her time on Camp Getaway, and how some of the responses to how she was portrayed, tested her biggest concerns; and she was open and honest about the emotional challenges she faced being the only black woman on the show and one being in a position of leadership. We also talked a little Bachelor, a little housewife and that dang Vice article about Potomac that STILL lights me on fire!I had so much fun talking to Dr. Monica on her first time on the podcast and trust me when I tell you, this is FAR from the last!Dr. Monica O'NealInstagram: @drmonicaFacebook: @DrMonicaOSupport the show

Welcome back for another episode! This week, I'm solo Bolo (kidding...). But it is just me and I'm talking all things ATL Baby! I recap the most recent episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and our resident Juicy Peaches. 🍑 This week left me feeling like I ate a good appetizer but I'm still waiting on my meal. I also touch on Nene and the most recent interview she gave on a podcast where she talked about the "corporate devil" (her words, not mine.) And I touch on voter suppression in the 1800's, voters suppression in the 1900's and voter suppression NOW (cause its still happening...it just looks a little different to some.) It looks like the former administration and his current supporters spouting baseless election fraud claims in areas that are highly populated by...you guessed it, Black people...who voted. I am excited to have Evelyn aka Evie Eve from @twistedplotpod and @resconpodcast back to kick off the first episode of 2021 and we cover it all! We talk Social Media, the way we handle it, the way it effects us and the "likes" that come with it while questioning if we are getting what we really want out of it. Then we get a little personal and get into relationships and the expectations that we put on others that we are in relationships with, to mirror our personal love languages and the disappointment that comes with that. We somehow side into Ms. Dorothy from RHOP and the way she mothers and some similarities in our own upbringing as it pertains to the mother/daughter dynamic and the bullying Evelyn experienced in school from people who shared part of her background. Speaking of RHOP, we dabble into the reunion and Andy, the call to Boycott Bravo from Nene and her Instagram live and we finish with Evelyn breaking down the amazing book, "The Four Agreements." We jump in talking Atlanta and the Georgia Peaches that are ripe and ready to go! Of course Nene is missed (gone but not forgotten in our hearts!) Then we go straight into the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion. And we go ALL the way in. We talk Gizelle and her bodyguard and the perpetuation of a stereotype, we discuss the Samuels and the rumors that made their way on camera and we discuss the behind the scenes effect on real life people that viewers are unwilling to see. And we talk Candiace and her tears and how this fight has really put things into perspective, good and bad. We touch on the social media outcry by some about Andy at the RHOP reunion and find it ironic as we can point to the RHONY reunion with Bethenny v. I had the absolute PLEASURE to chat with my girl Evelyn Marley AKA Evie Eve, host of the Twisted Plot podcast, @twistedplot on Instagram and the Residential Confidential podcast, @resconpodcast on Instagram. We start out talking about her Twisted Plot podcast and the amazing mental health advice she gives while talking pop culture and the Residential Confidential podcast where she gives us a peek into neighborhoods and their drama and we laugh at the way ethnic families will make up names for others in their family, just because (Evie Eve's name rings true for her.) Speaking of fitting names, we go right into why her names fit her, one being Goddess of war and Evelyn opens up about the interview on her podcast that seemingly launched her into Reddit headlines and what felt like a war for her mental health and the fight to move her ego aside so that she could actually grasp the lessons life was trying to teach her. We also talk about the pandemic, witnessing the murder of George Floyd and how that impacted her in her life journey, including her podcast and how she has learned to remain true to her voice. And Evelyn shares the book that she read that helped her make agreements with herself in her journey to mental health wholeness. Then we come back to the present and get into the current state of the world and talk Black Lives Matter, white privilege, the real conversations that need to be had and what she has done to make sure that her children don't have a myopic mindset but instead lead with empathy, compassion and kindness, just like Kate!Reality Life with Kate Casey PodcastPatreon- Wake Up With WEIGOTwitter:@KateCasey@tsfaisonInstagram:@katecaseyca@weigopodcast Support the show

I'm so excited to welcome Shira Weiss into my kitchen via Zoom for an awesome chat! I've listened to Shira for years as guests on other podcasts, have read her writing in the Huffington Post and now I get to read her work on Ariana Huffington's Thrive Global. She most recently addressed the issue of colorism on Medium.com. Not to mention, Shira is the ULTIMATE housewives and Bravo-leb whisperer which gateways us right into RHOSLC's Jen Shah and the interview that Shira had with her a day before we recorded this episode, the bravoleb that was upset with her because she called out his behavior towards his cast mate, dealing with publicists who can ghost you and becoming friends with a Bravo-leb currently on tv versus a Bravo-leb that is no longer on our screens. And we touch on her feelings about Twitter, why she is not on it any longer and how a housewife and her team had a hand in it. And SO much more!Shira may known for her writing, but she can read like a housewife!Make sure check Shira out on Patreon where discuss more of the Jen Shah interview and the buildup of her fight with Mary that wasn't on screen and more on a certain Garden State housewife and the reason she and her team turned on Shira and involved her family.Shira WeissInstagram: @shiraweiss2.0@weigopodcast @tsfaisonTwitter:@tsfaisonSupport the show

"Elana & Dina: The Chicest Styled Sisters:"
This conversation is with two of the most stylish sisters I know! They Zoom onto my screen full of fashion, fun and conversations about our Champagne holding Cherry Blossoms, which leads us right into Potomac and the fight that has been talked about more than any heavyweight championship fight that Money Mayweather was ever a part of! We talk about the fact that all housewife franchises have drama off camera but this franchise seems to have the most off camera happenings with on camera reactions, the ghost of Ashley past and the way she drops bombs and walks off and the now infamous butterknife, which she also contributed to. Then we touch on Bad Girls Club and Housewives (they are NOT the same) and whether Candiace knew it would go to that level. And we get down into the nitty gritty of the fight. We talk Karen's reaction to Monique, the regimented perfection that Monique perceived as coming undone and how Candiace was on the receiving end of her anger, the fact that BOTH of these women are deserving of the same Grace, the lyrics of the song Drag Queen and the conversation had in the aftermath of the fight and how the weight of the perception of black women in the world should not be put on Monique because she doesn't deserve that. We eventually head south, straight into the land of Georgia Peaches while talking about learning to appreciate the housewives for what they contribute to their franchises and our tv's (hi Kenya Moore.)And I get to ask these Stylish Sisters about the wardrobe of some of our housewives.Fashion seasons may change, but Elana & Dina will always be in style to me!Stylishly Solomon InfoInstagram:@stylishlysolomon@weigopodcast @tsfaisonTwitter:@tsfaisonSupport the show

Then we get into Potomac, the all star team! Brooke explains how Monique went from being her starting player to being traded, Candiace becoming first string, Gizelle remaining in the locker room and Karen and all her shenanigans. Next, we get into colorism. We talk about Ashley and her unwillingness to acknowledge it, Gizelle and her accusations towards Karen that could hurt Wendy and the viewing audience who also doesn't want to acknowledge the colorism, but instead would rather call it jealousy. And finally we get into the binder that has opened a portal to Monique's life that she probably isn't prepared for. We talk the accusations about Jamal and if they were past vs. present, the attack on Gizelle by way of Jamal, whether Monique actually drew first blood using Kendall as the needle, who the woman is rumored to be in the "alleged" Safeway attack and if Jamal should have responded (he had every right.) I am excited to talk to @karabgrams from the Instagram account @everyonesbusinessbutmine and host of the Everyone's Business But Mine podcast! Kara is hilarious, quick, has the BEST voice and her takes are dead on! We start out talking Southern Charm and RHOA and how the burden of educating falls on the People of Color to have all of these heavy conversations (particularly Southern Charm when they have other cast mates to call things out) and we wonder if franchises WITHOUT People of Color will have any real conversations. Then we continue on with the Peaches and talk episode one of RHOA! First, we touched on Kenya Moore on the Wendy Williams show (she said Tanya & Porsha brought the WAP), Marlo and the side we don't often see, Porsha and Kenya's continuing drama and the Instagram like that may have caused it. And we wonder, "Is Porsha the new HBIC??" Andy seems to think so.Then we jump head first into RHOP! We talked Gizelle's confessional after Jamal missed the pictures (I felt that deeply), Monique's therapy session and how we identify, Ashley and why people forget just how messy she truly is and wonder if she is in it for Michale's reported net worth (I had no idea) and Candiace and Ms. Dorothy (Candiace seems to now have Dorothy's attention). Finally, we get into Juan and Robyn and there are questions (the streets say Juan has an entire other relationship), Michael's fascination with Juan (stranger danger) and his reaction to Juan and Robyn's engagement, Ashley and her plays to the camera and the finale fireworks that had us cheering Chris Bassett and watching Michael's display of sickening amounts of privilege!Kara is so awesome and I enjoyed talking about everyone else's business...and not mine!Everyone's Business But Mine PodcastInstagram: @everyonesbusinessbutmine @karabgrams @weigopodcast @tsfaisonTwitter:@EBBMpodcast@tsfaisonSupport the show

We start out talking about Donny and what should be his creative partnership with Kleenex because he certainly had me fooled (I even called my mom and told her about a new product) and how I need to read FULL captions. Then we ski from my kitchen right into Salt Lake City realizing that there really IS something about Mary. We talk who would win between Mary and Jen in a face off (Jens recent tweets not considered), Mary's son making it rain on his girl with gifts and how you can't just give dogs as gifts to everyone! And we speculate on the relationships of these women in real life (Heather accurately read Jen who can be a nightmare dressed like a daydream), Meredith and Mary's friendship and the confidence we see in Mary behind the pulpit and the celebrity family that Mary looks like (I will never unsee it!) We talk about the audience's reaction to RHOSLC and the ranking it gets among longer established franchises, the big push it got long before it premiered, how we still wish for Tinsley and a Real Housewives of Chicago franchise (she bossed up at the RHONY reunion vs Dorinda) and how Vicky and Nene left on a low.And we end the podcast Zooming right back into my Maryland based kitchen and RHOP. We talk about the reunion and what may be the smoking gun to implicate the Green Eyed Bandits (I couldn't take it if that was the case), the rumor that Gizzy allegedly tried to bring to the camera and the two super-heroes that Gizelle and Monique looked like at a "friendship" lunch (AMAZING), the Monique and Candiace fight (I still love you guys-through gritted teeth) and we end touching on the one and only Bad Girls Club (which sent me down a bad girls rabbit hole later that evening.)Even though we don't always agree on Cherry Blossoms, Donny and Quin will ALWAYS be a major yes for me: KNOW THAT!Know That PodcastInstagram:@knowthatpod @therealdonnywwod @swolemite@weigopodcast @tsfaisonTwitter:@knowthatpod @QuintenLamar @therealdonnywood@tsfaisonSupport the show

Then we talk about learning how to appreciate our housewife villains and what they bring to the show (looking at you Kenya Moore) and how our minds will allow us to believe what we want to believe because we want to believe it, especially when it comes to our housewives which brings us to RHOP and Candiace Dillard and the housewife world's seeming hatred of her. We talk about the current climate we are in and the way people treat Candiace who IS a black woman, the excuses that are made for Ashley Darby and her behavior (which has been in the lower level at Ramona's home her entire time on the show), the butter knife toss heard round' the world and the way people love Porsha Williams despite her anti LGBTQ sermon (which she has apologized for via PR statement) but refuse to forgive Candiace for her tweets (that she also apologized for via PR statement) and the hypocrisy of not keeping the same energy. And we talk about Monique and her friendships on the show and their interactions (Monique & Charrisse, and Monique & Candiace and wishing they were still friends.) Then we get into the RHOP IG lives that were like soap operas and how Candiace and Monique were actually saying the same things and we wonder if you need a witness or letter from someone to get a cease and desist served to someone or to file charges on someone (per a scene from Teen Mom, you may not.)Then Kyle gives his experience working in the beauty world and what possibly could have happened with Gizelle's Every Hue beauty (possibly), we talk about his love for Danica from VPR and Scheana's latest (at the time of this recording) podcast episode and the icky tea that was spilled, and Danica's vitamin recommendation that actually works! And we end with Kyle talking about Married to Medicine and our hope that the world gets on board! Then I give my housewives tag line and we solicit dm's with tag line ideas for Kyle!Asking Kyle to be a guest is one of the best orders I have made, and Kyle is a dish that I will continue to order! "Mallory Wilkinson: The Real House Pins OC"
I am excited to share my conversation with Mallory who runs the @realhousepinsoc Instagram account and the successful Etsy shop Real House Pins OC. I first "met" Mallory in the dm's when she introduced herself, sent me her number and told me if my son or me and my family ever needed anything when we came to the OC, that her door was open. And since then, a friendship was born! In this episode we talk, dog attacks and her detective skills (Megan King Edmonds could never), the OC and what it REALLY looks like (the demographics) and close family that are on the opposite side of the aisle from us and the fascination in watching them. We talk about therapy and the stigma in different cultures, anti- depressants, the need to talk more about ADHD in adults and being careful about misdiagnosing ADHD in children. We also get into cherry picking culture and choosing when to call people out and when not to (your favorites versus people you don't like), when you feel guilty for watching certain Bravo shows but watch others, learning not to judge what others are watching (sometimes) and racist people who love to tan (you have to see the irony.) Mallory also shares a personal experience about being stopped by a cop and I share mine...and they were the same...almost and we talk about a video that demonstrates the lives of many black Americans. We touch on how Mallory was raised not see anyone as an other, the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement and her path to becoming an ally. Then we make a quick trip south and talk about The Real Peaches of Atlanta and COVID.This episode was Mallory and I having real talk about all things real life...and we didn't put a pin in anything!Etsy Shop:Real House Pins OCInstagram:@realhousepinsoc @mal_is_your_pal@weigopodcast @tsfaisonTwitter:@tsfaisonSupport the show

"Hannah A. Brown: The Bachelorette, Salt Lake City, & Future Oscars"
I am thrilled to welcome back my first guest that has since truly become my friend, @hannahbrown host of the Not Aspirational podcast. Zooming with Hannah is so much fun and easy because we are two friends dissecting these sometimes crazy, sometimes jaw dropping, sometimes "they must be trolling us" reality shows. We first get into the Bachelorette and take a stroll down Ashley Iaconetti's bachelorette history, ugly crying faces and we ultimately agree that we are happy that Ashley and Jared's love story won in the end. Then we get into Tayshia and the our thoughts and feelings on the guys that are fighting for a rose, Tayshia's heart, maybe a part in Fight Club (Hey Noah! We see you!), Ed & Chasen and if former contestant Dale made the Bachelor text thread. We end up getting back on a path of the past back down memory lane and talk Hannah & Jake and me and Cory (we knew what we wanted and the rest is history), Hannah becoming a mother to Little Cory (she's ready to allergy proof her home for him) and we catapult into what seems like another dimension and Hannah gives me her takes on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which has pleasantly surprised us. We touch on the wife that had a former Insta feud with Brandi Redmond and keeps hot sauce and vaseline in her bag and the wife (hey Mary) that hates the smell of hospital and thinks drinking water could have prevented leg amputation. After the wild ride of RHOSLC, we touch on Bethenny Frankel and we end the podcast with Hannah making a pact with her future self and congratulating her many feature film lead roles and the Oscars that are sure to follow!Hannah A. "Abby & Vanessa: Bravo's Realest Moms"
I am SUPER excited to be Zooming with two absolutely wonderful women...Abby and Vanessa hosts of the Real Moms of Bravo podcast! Abby and Vanessa have been best friends for many years and have shared their love of Bravo, their innermost thoughts, feelings, weddings and families with each other. Everything that best friends do. Then the world was hit with a pandemic, a murder and a black box on Instagram that paused the world but started conversations between people from all different backgrounds and beliefs and some from the same backgrounds and beliefs that previously weren't being had. And on this episode, Abby & Vanessa, best friends who share the same beautiful hearts but differ in ethnicity and race, talk to me about the conversations they had with each other and others when the crisis of the world made time slow down. We talk ally ship, colorism within Vanessa and I's culture (Vanessa is Dominican & Black and I'm Black) and Abby shares a conversation she had with her sons that gave me good chills and has me hoping for more allies like her!And somewhere in between we touch on the housewives that may or may not be lightly scripted; but I know our conversation was 100 % real! This week one of my favorite people and host of The Housewives Tonight podcast, Rit aka wivestonight Zooms straight into my kitchen and we have an awesome chat! We start talking about Monique and the counseling session she had with her Pastor and we discuss church counseling verses licensed therapist, if Candiace and Monique were ACTUALLY close off camera (we get the same flash back picture repeatedly) and the emotional investment this fight takes. Speaking of investments, we talk about how the Instagram/Bravo podcast community is so welcoming and encouraging and about the authenticity of podcasts and what happens when the hosts want to touch the sun aka the bravolebs that we talk about on the podcasts. And Ritt shares which housewife always tags him in her only fans posts. We then take a bit of a shift and talk about Kamala Harris and how awesome it is that a woman of color was elected as VP. And we go a bit deeper and talk about her mixed heritage and the conversation surrounding it and Ritt breaks down the Indian caste system for me. Next we go on a wild ride and talk about Surviving R. Kelly part 2 (Ritt was a producer on the show) and how the law doesn't favor women of color. And we dip back into the Potomac waters and discuss how all hands really need to point to Gizelle (my problematic fave-ish)Producing may be Ritts profession but this conversation was completely authentic! "SPECIAL BONUS: Oh No Bravo on RHOSLC, Election ever after and Instagram"
She's back! ohnobravo is back for a 3-peat on the What Else Is Going On podcast and it is good, cathartic, ALL THE WAY real and EXACTLY what I needed! First, I am excited that Oh No Bravo can now share what her RHOSLC Zoom with the cast members was like and we share our thoughts on each lady, one by one (Lisa/Meredith, Heather and the black men, rap music and homosexuals she loves, and those white stockings on Sister Mary...)Then we hit the slope and ski right into the election aftermath and the work that still needs to be done. Finally, we hop off the bunny slope and make a right turn past Jen Shah's chalet and find ourselves on the Instagram Black Diamond...that complicated hill. We discuss ally ship, call out culture, jumping into Instagram beef and I talk about the ways in which we need allies to show up to help make a difference, not just noise. So, lets' get into it!Instagram:ohnobravo- @ohnobravoweigopodcast- @weigopodcast @tsfaisonTwitter:ohnobravo- @ohnobravo@tsfaisonSupport the show

"He's The Real Donny Wood: Know That..."
A Zoom date for the ages! Me and my BFF Donny from @knowthatpod call a truce on our Monique v Candiace friendly feud and have a good ole' time! We talk Erika Jayne and the divorce (Dear Tom, it's expensive to be an exxxxx), the Kleenex/Candiace meme that had me fooled (I even told my mom) and the tweets we deleted cause we turned around on certain housewives...kind of. Then we take a bite of a newly diverse apple and talk RHONY (I agree with Donny's husband and co-host Quinn, there is something about Sonya and her portrayal), we discuss Ebony and being named the first black housewife (where is Bershan??) and how Alicia Quarles was a straight up smoke screen! Then we have a behind the music and I ask what it's like having co-hosts (have they had housewife level arguments-spoiler, no) and we talk marriages and friends in relation to marriage. Speaking of marriages, we head to RHOP and talk Michael & Ashley and non consensual touches (is this being overlooked), Ashley and her messiness, Gizelle and they way she lets words just fall out of her mouth, how we watch these shows and we like the housewife we like, period. And Donny makes a statement in reference to Monique, Candiace and the 8th housewife (the fight) that gives me the validation that I have been looking for from him...Recording this episode filled me with so much joy and I am really grateful that I get to call Donny friend...know that!Instagram:@knowthatpod @realdonnywood@weigopodcast @tsfaisonTwitter:@knowthatpod @realdonnywood@tsfasionSupport the show

"She's Startin...AND Finishing!"
Join me and my Lilly-Pad aka @shesstartin as we talk about it all! We start with the Bachelorette (I'm trying to make her watch), the lawsuit that two black men tried to bring against ABC and the Bachelor/Bachelorette for lack of inclusivity (their response was what turned me off from the show.) Next we get into Beth AKA Bethenny Frankel and her unabashed love...of herself and the interview she gave that left us feeling...something. Then we head down to the dirty south and grab some peaches on the way! We talk RHOA and Linnethia (we will miss you), the trailer (hey legs!), and the missing RHOA , B. Scott who always gets it right! After we leave Atlanta, we head back to the tension filled Potomac. We touch on Monique and Candiace (when do we not??), therapy and mental health and the importance of taking care of yourself and what could happen if you don't! "Oh No Bravo: ALWAYS an Oh YES For Me!"
What Else Is Going On Podcast welcomes return guest @ohnobravo! And it is JUST what I needed! We recorded this on the morning of Election Day and talking with ohnobravo provided the perfect amount of distraction and fun! We jump right in talking about RHOSLC (ohnobravo was invited to speak with the RHOSLC ladies) and she assures us that we are in for the treat we deserve! Then we go south and discuss the charmless. We talk about Craig and his video with Tomi Loren and the way he talks around his support for Black Lives Matter and tries to pander to both sides and we discuss where we as viewers draw the lines with Bravolebrities (I suggest racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.) Then we get into the Real Housewives of Potomac from the angle of a therapist (ohnobravo is an ACTUAL therapist.) We dissect the happenings AFTER the fight and some of the behind scene goings on that people don't or won't focus on (jobs being lost and the actual horrendous on line bullying.) We talk about the way the viewers laugh at the post it notes but are ok with the musical number "Drag Her," both of which were said to be forms of therapy and understanding why the ladies may not have attended the live podcast show.We touch on the anger people have at the women for addressing how the world perceives black women as opposed to being angry at the fact that their is a real reason why the black women on this cast (and so many other black women, myself included) have had to HAVE the conversation. We slither into where we fall with Karen and Wendy and their argument and we both agree that Candiace needs to back away from Twitter...and Monique as well. Her name is ohnobravo, but our discussions are ALWAYS an oh YES for me!Instagram:ohnobravo- @ohnobravoweigopodcast- @weigopodcast @tsfaisonTwitter:ohnobravo- @ohnobravo@tsfaisonSupport the show

"Bravo Bravo...bravooOMG!!!"
bravooOMG! This episode hit for me on ALL levels! Join me and Zack AKA BRAVOOOMG as we Zoom down pop culture/real life/housewives memory lane and I talk about Mary Cosby and the tea her uncle/stepson "S" spilled about the family in an interview. But first, in real time, we talk about the fraudulent hate account that stole his profile pic and pretty much copied his Insta name (please go report it), how a certain dragging brought us together to create a friendship for the ages and we talk about the world of content and appreciating content creators and the time and effort they take to create (looking at you Erika Jayne) and the 3 housewives who reposted his memes and the ONE who gave him credit. Speaking of content, we briefly touch on Bravo's Chat Room and how the hosts mesh. Then we hop onto memory lane and talk the movie Dream Girls and Zack names the former housewife couple that is Effie White personified and the current housewife who is the real life version of the Dream Girls soundtrack song, Listen. After which, we throw our Zoom kiki in reverse and go a little further in the past where Zack shares how he was bullied for being Jewish and how his school administration essentially faulted him and I share the first time I felt the difference of my skin color, in a non positive way. We decide to lighten the mood and we talk RHOA and the peach cobbler (a plastic shield and a tongue), the RHOA housewife that is heard but not seen, RHOA and Monique and Candiace (they brought me and Zack together in the DM's), the RHOP reunion and what could be Gizelle AKA Gizzy's reckoning and the importance of using your voice to go and vote (this episode was supposed to be out election day but due to tech issues was a day behind-so we hope you voted!)This episode will make you LOL and say bravooOMG! Welcome back to part 2 of me and the elusive Tatiana and our Zoom hangout! We pick up right where we left. We talk about RHOP and season 3 when Monique and Ashley encourages Candiace to speak what she thinks immediately (funny how things change), how we see Chris Samuels as a solution based person trying to take the pressure off of his wife (hire the extra help Monique), Michael Darby and his consistent non consensual touches and the consistent support he continues to get (in house) and was Charrisse right about Moniques disposal of you when she gets what she needs? We touch on Karen and how she seems to forget her own rule (season 2) and we agree that Monique has NOT made all black woman look bad. Then we swing by RHONY and talk about the Countess, head to sunny Beverly Hills to talk Garcelle and the other ladies, we talk the Bachelorette...and reminisce about the time when Bachelor/Bachelorette Nation was pure (Trista & Ryan, and Andrew Firestone anyone???) and I decide I may need to watch 90 day everyday and Married at First.Enjoy this episode...because we certainly did!!!PATREON Taria & Cory - Wake Up With WEIGOTaria:Instagram- @weigopodcast / @tsfaisonTwitter- @tsfaisonSupport the show

Special Bonus Episode Part 1: "Tatiana: Instagram’s Good Carmen Sandiego"
Special Bonus Episode Part. #1 : Join me and the elusive Tatiana as we talk about What Else Is Going On in this Bravo world! We start by talking about the Bravo community (which is how I found her) and how grateful we are for it, how watching these shows can help you look inward (do we mirror some of these characters...er' I mean people), how she has to convince her fiancé to start with Bravo by watching Married to Medicine Atlanta (he is already a pro) and I share an experience with friends that Cory said had I done it, it would have been a housewives move (he knows the game.) We then get into her engagement and her postponed nuptials (they were supposed to be a week after Cynthia Bailey's) due to COVID, how she felt about seeing Yelly Dodd (thank you for that name @sunshine_grams) and Cynthia Bailey's wedding and her drink fueled rage Facebook posts about it (I have been there), Kim's surprise party that was shown on Keeping Up With The Kardashians (everyone had to take COVID tests and could not go in until the rapid results were received), and the fact that Gizelle said she left Cynthia's reception early because people didn't seem to be wearing masks, but there actually may be other tea as to why she REALLY left! And speaking of Gizelle, we get right into Potomac and give our thoughts on what seems like a Gizelle v Karen fight for the spot of top housewife in the Potomac franchise, other franchises and who their HWIC (Head Wife In Charge) is, the OC and the unmitigated gall of Gina K. and her housewife run (WE ARE NOT WATCHING-this is based off of past seasons she has been on and the pictures we on social media now), we touch on RHOBH and the after show (it showed more of the sneak messiness of Kyle Richards), how they did Garcelle dirty (they didn't insert the clip of her and Lisa Rinna's conversation about her son and Lisa's daughter, but they insert clips on other franchises), Tatiana's like for Bethenny which leads us to revist Carol v Bethenny and the friendship breakdown. Then we jump BACK into RHOP and talk about Candiace and her post its, and Tatiana discusses what she (and me) think is the REAL genesis of the fight. And we end part 1 talking about why people have such a problem with Candiace and the help she gets from her mother versus some of the ladies that depend on their millionaire (is he though) husbands.Me and Tatiana, Instagram's version of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" have kiki after kiki in between using our arm chair psychology expertise in conjunction with our Bravo law degree! Housewives on Display: Jay & J
Join Jay, J and me... the official third Jae, as we Zoom into the world of Bravo and have a good ole' kiki! But first, we talk about how they got into the housewives, who pulled who in, what franchise was their genesis for starting (spoiler alert-the ones that look like us) and what is now their favorite (it may not be the same.) We touch on signs and two of us are the same (you get the break down of an Aries-we da' best), they talk about the sagittarius sign and sag housewives or "sag the scammers" and how they start out one way and end up another ie: Sonya & Dorinda (oohhhh sorry to producer Cory-Sagittarian. But he responded...in post edit.) Then we travel back in time and get into the OG's: Bethenny and if she's missed (uummmm...), Linnethia aka Nene (where have all the Nene's gone???), one of the most iconic RHOA scenes, theb pajama party (a red haired Kandi who was ready to drag long before Ms. Samuels), where we started to lose Nene, the unseen housewife of RHOA, B. Scott, and the breakdown of Kandi and Phaedra's relationship BEFORE the rumor reveal. And of course...the episode wouldn't be complete without the fight heard round the Bravoverse and beyond.I got my ENTIRE life talking with Jay and J! This is an episode you don't want to miss! SPECIAL BONUS EPISODE: RHOP Fight, VICE & Respectability All Around
In this bonus episode I'm solo dolo! I go back through the seasons of RHOP and discuss Ashley, the magician (she's waved her wand and we have somehow forgotten the deep provocations and the true messiness of Ashley), how the Monique, Charrisse and Candiace situation are reminiscent of the Monique, Ashley and Candiace situation, and how Ashley gets the grace from the viewer that seems to escape Candiace (maybe because of the butter knife??)I talk about the conversations that are being had about what it means to "run your mouth" and if that warrants a fight (if that's the case then why aren't there fights across the board because that's what housewives do-run their mouths.) I then talk about the Vice article and the "respectability in politics" piece, even with the disrespectful undertones; lets talk about consciously avoiding associating stereotypical negative behaviors to black women, while at the same time using the word Becky as a negative to describe a fellow black woman in a stereotypical negative light, because she speaks a certain way. And I start to wonder if all of the think pieces and in depth conversations about black women on tv and what is or isn't our responsibility, is actually fanning the flames of conversation between people who don't look like us...and I wonder if it's truly necessary? Is this instance on Potomac really that deep? Or could it be that the fight was just that...a fight? And that's all? It's a lot everyone...but in the words of Rinna, "You better believe I'm gonna talk about it!"PATREONVice ArticleSupport the show

Danielle then shares her experience of visiting the holocaust memorial where she actually saw the names of her family members and the feelings it evoked and the similarities between Jewish and Black people. Then we take a hard left and get into redacted Schroeder (Danielle has good points but redacted is a no for me), mentioned RHOBH and Brandy and the video she had her son make (it is cringe worthy), RHOP and the hair grab heard round the world, RHOD (Brandi and & Stephanie and the weird franchise overcast-I meant to say overtones), RHOA and Marlo, the MVP for a franchise friend of (she gets the benefits of a full time wife but the anonymity of a non cast member), and Nene and how we will miss her. And you get to hear about a post Danielle made that started an OG war (what makes an OG), how important it is to understand what is happening in the world even when it doesn't affect us directly and the personal decisions that others we know may or may not make, that we don't agree with but understand...kind of. We then throw back housewives talk as fast as Luanne grabbed Ramona's vodka glass and sipped through the straw. Also, Lu just might be in the top tier of housewives when we deep dive into her ever evolving seasons (from THE Countess, to Tom's wife to the Cabaret Queen, to a Beach Body Volleyball player. ) Then we grab a flute of Champs and head to Potomac where we stay clear of the Barn and discuss Monique and Candiace and the sit down at Karen's. Eventually we head west to the OC and discuss Kelly the Covid Clown (Bravo's resident toxic megaphone) and whether the evolution of the housewives franchises is a good thing for Bravo and us the viewers or do we miss the housewives of old?Grab your glass and join Megan and me for Happy Hour...cause its five o'clock somewhere!Bravo Happy Hour PodcastBravo Happy Hour MerchBravo Happy Hour.comBravo Happy Hour You TubeTaria:Instagram- @weigopodcast / @tsfaisonTwitter- @tsfaisonSupport the show

Join me and @housewivesmarvelpodcast host Kendrick Tucker as we journey back in time. I learn when Kendrick first discovered an alternate universe known as the housewives and what franchise brought him in (hey Peaches), who he recruited to watch with him and what other league competed in the housewives time slot (they run plays ALMOST as much as the housewives.) Kendrick then gives me his lineup for the ultimate Housewives Avenger Squad (Bravoverse's mightiest heroes), who his #1 Housewife is (she's turned a table or two), Porsha and her growth from Cordells' wife to Porsha Williams, Queen of Thotlandia (her words, not ours) and his amazing wine glass collection and the housewife that dm'ed him where to find them. We then head north to Jersey and discuss the Melissa/Danielle connection, and whether Melissa truly makes a good housewife, Kelly Dodd (don't let me catch her in those OC streets), the disrespectful tone of THAT HAT, Bravo's seeming lack of response and I share the time I starred in a Marvel movie as a superhero (kind of-I'm currently looking for someone to design my super suit.)Then we bust a U-ey and head back south to Maryland and more specifically Potomac. I ask Kendrick what his thoughts were as a black man watching the fight, we discuss if the conversation at Karens house should have taken place for all of the world to see, how Karen tries to play both sides (she had security too) and we end by me making a plea for him to watch Love and Marriage Huntsville on OWN Tv.This episode is a full on Hulk Smash...and we leave all the pieces!Kendrick Tucker:Podcast- Me & You, the Housewives, and Marvel TooInstagram- @housewivesmarvelpodcastTaria:Instagram- @weigopodcast / @tsfaisonTwitter- @tsfaisonSupport the show

Zoom goes translatic and lands in the apartment of the one and only @dianaespir and WHAT an amazing flight! We take off talking jade rollers and the things I do to keep it cold (think freezer and cold chicken), her espirational podcast rebrand and the interview that was the catalyst (Hi Sasha!) her upcoming move (when is she coming back to LA) and whether a conversation that others may see as heavy but its really not skinny nor fat, is due to take place. Then we put it in reverse and dip into her performer past. We talk about her being a child prodigy at 2, her vocal career (she has an amazing voice...I heard it), how her talent became her torture and what made her silence her singing and delve into journalism. We get into how you are viewed in America when you have an amazing talent versus being considered an outcast where you were born, and what led her to the red carpet and being able to interview celebrities in a way that few can! Diana then slides into her own DM's and asks me to explain the DM I sent her telling her I loved her but don't agree with her on things (we hashed it out), we talk about the episode of her podcast that made we feel a type of way and the reason behind it and we debate/discuss cancel culture. And while on the subject of cancel culture, we talk a former Bravoleb that is more bump than pump these days and how the actions of that person led Diana down a path of self reflection that allowed her to acknowledge subconscious behaviors...and change them. Diana is a sharp, funny, open, intelligent, woman and I am excited to know her! She was willing to let down her barriers and be vulnerable with me AND give me one of the best beauty recommendations I have ever gotten (it worked in two days!) "Oh No...Bravo"
Instagram's @ohnobravo Zooms into my kitchen to discuss the top housewife story of the week, Monique and Candiace. We go deep and talk about all of the elements that contributed to what has become one of the hottest debated housewives incidents in housewives history. We discuss the RHOP Housewives teams and their captains and who we are batting for, the slow motion stills we have watched over and over again (that was Gizelle's hand...right), the flicking of Candiaces hair being the first point of contact, and the speed in which Monique raced around the barn to continue the fight. We also get into both Chris' phone calls they receive from their wives with very different versions told, how each of the Chris' handled it noticeably differently (one misses the friendship and is embarrassed and the other makes tea and suggests a hospital visit) and the shock waves that rippled through the group. We then head South for Atlanta and somehow end up in the Arizonas with Gizelle, her girls and Daddy Graves where we get a belly full of awkward desserts and an earful of Daddy Graves' true feelings when his MIC goes hot.We touch on the weight that has been put on Black franchises to adhere to a standard that their white counterparts don't have to and the burdens that come with that. And I share a DM from @shopwithmiaj that speaks to the Candiace v Monique situation via her own personal experience. This episode has it all because just like Ariana and comedy, we take Bravo VERY seriously!Oh No BravoInstagram- @ohnobravo Patreon- Oh No Bravo TariaInstagram- @weigopodcast / @tsfaisonTwitter- @tsfaisonSupport the show

We touch on the love/hate for certain signs (the producer @cbreezey is a Sagittarius), we hop back to RHOP and discuss the husbands (just combine 3 of them into 1), Chris and his Monique impression (at first I thought he meant she was a big wine drinker) and identifying with Robyn sending a text to the person you are talking ABOUT and NOT to who you meant to send it TO (I'm glad my sister in law and I recovered-sorry Boo!) We then head west and stop past RHOBH and discuss Denise's departure and the RHOBH producers that are becoming housewives that have jumped out from behind that third wall. We u-turn and head BACK east to Potomac and drop BACK in on Michael Darby and his shenanigans (there's a video Boo Boo and we are not fools), Married to Medicine, Love and Hip Hop again (WE SEE EACH OTHER VH1), and Pump rules' redacted Schroeder. We end with the Versus poll battles that sent Bravo While Black listeners into a tizzy (I'm still Team Luanne vocals over Kandi).Kaya, Aaron and I TRULY have the best kiki as we talk about what its like to love Bravo while being Black in America!Bravo While Black Info:Bravo While Black PodcastInstagram- @bravowhileblack / @misery_spice / @aaronmarcellus_Twitter- @bravowhileblackTariaInstagram- @weigopodcast / @tsfaisonTwitter- @tsfaisonSupport the show

"Mandy Slutsker: This Is Real Life"
Sit back and listen up as I talk with Mandy Slutsker from the Is This Life podcast. We talk about Mandy's early years and what brought her from Minneapolis all the way to DC and how a political candidate helped her decision, her travel all over the globe fighting for the health of children, including those with HIV, and when she first met Dr. Anthony Fauci. We also talk what it was like growing up with a Russian father who made it to the United States, the man who contacted her father after 30 years to apologize for the part he played in her father possibly NOT making it to the US, a Jewish mother who taught her to take pride in her heritage and the sometimes overlooked similarities between black people and Jewish people. We also get into the time she bought pet turtles from an animal trafficker and we talk a little Bravo, because that IS Real Life!Mandy SlutskerPodcast- Is This Real LifeInstagram- @itrl_podcast / @mandyslutskerTwitter- @ITRL_Podcast / @MandySlutskerTariaInstagram- @weigopodcast / @tsfaisonTwitter- @tsfaisonMessageSupport the show

Annnddd we're back! Have another cup of Mocha with me and Stephanie for part 2 as we discuss Dorinda & John, the new police dog robot (YES...a dog robot!), my love for Stephanie's friend COOK (hey Girl!) and her distain for the carton character Caillo. Speaking of characters, we discuss Ashley Darby, Monique & Chris Samuels, whose pancakes we would have eaten in Newburg and the hypocrisy of the Grand Dame at times (we love you Karen but GURRRLLLL!) We drop back into RHOBH with Denise Richards and her former cast mates and OWN's tv show Love and Marriage Huntsville that has all the drama of housewives with faces that look like ours. We end scratching our heads wondering about the professor Jessica Krug who pretended to be black while taking money meant FOR black people, we hit some rough waters and talk about Below Deck Sailing (congrats Padgett & Ciara), Below Deck Med (bye Sandy!) and my love of Hip Hop Chicken down in the B! SPECIAL BONUS EPISODE ft. "Kara Berry from Everyone's Business But Mine"
SPECIAL BONUS EPISODE: Join me and Kara from Everyone's Business But Mine Podcast. We talk how and why she started podcasting, the Ellen show rumors, the now famous Tamron Hall podcast with a former pump ruler and the article Kara wrote that Arianna retweeted to white privilege check Natassia, that had Kristen Doute calling out her "Detroit roots." We of course talk RHOBH and Denise and write our fan fiction for Teddi Mellencamp (RIP to Teddie Bear AKA Teddi Jo's Housewife tenure), my struggle to watch episodes appreciating the villain, our hesitancy to watch RHOC (BYE KELLY DODD), RHONY and Dorindas need for a Time Out. And of course we couldn't let the episode end without talking about RHOP, (is Gizelle ACTUALLY trolling us with her house and personal fashions), Gizelle and Karens seemingly crumbling real life friendship, Monique and Candiace and I ask/beg Kara to please watch Lost Resort on TBS and recap it. PART 1: "Stephanie Williams: A Mug Full of Mocha"
PART 1:Put down your tea cup and grab a mug full of Mocha and join me and Stephanie from the Mocha Minutes podcast in my kitchen for a cup of specially brewed Mocha! In our cups we mix a little RHOD and Kary B., Married to Medicine LA, specifically Dr. Kendra and her mom who had no problem schooling the chef on how to do the job he was hired for. We throw in some potato salad recipes that DO NOT include raisins, some RHOP (hey Gizzy), and a splash of Niecey Nash chased by a Luis Tann espresso. Then we dip into the Real World and their early discussions on race, 9/11, RHONY (Leah and the MOBB and Ramona de Classe), Kelly Dodd the COVID Clown, RHOBH and our beloved Garcelle (we WILL come for your HOUSE Beverly Hills if you try Garcelle again) and Rinna the Wretch. We cap it off with Oprah, Ice Cube AKA O’Shea Jackson, Nick Cannon, Kevin Hart and ponder if black men are protecting black women? And if so, is it only when it’s convenient?? And that's only part 1! PART 2: "Amanda Page Discusses What Else Is All Happening"
PART 2: Grab your mug and catch this little bit of tea that Dorinda spilled about her Tinsdale explosion at the RHONY season finale, to someone who recently went to the Bezerkshires. Then listen in as we continue our housewives talk like the RHOBH reunion and the shadiness of Kyle Richards raising her paddle to try and embarrass Garcelle and RHOP... dare we say the tides are turning in Candiace's direction?? We also jump on the turnpike and head to Jersey where we reminisce about the Jersey of old. The fights and feuds between two families that quite honestly mirror each other; "allegedly" Joe and Tree and Joey and Melissa may have more in common than one may know. And then...we take a moment of silence for the first family of reality tv...The Kardashians, who have decided to retire the show AND the clear plastic salad containers. PART1: This week Teacher Amanda Zooms into Taria's kitchen to discuss what's all happening in the REAL world and the REEL world. We start with Amanda sharing how she chose to become a teacher, her road to get there, how COVID has played into how she now teaches, and the noticeable disparities in education from one school district to another. And speaking of disparities...We go on a wild ride with the different housewives franchises. We talk RHONY, discussing Luann and Leah's run in with the police and how it ties into the world we are living in, the RHOBH reunion and the shadiness of Kyle Richards raising her paddle to try and embarrass Garcelle and RHOP... dare we say the tides are turning in Candiace's direction?? "The Crown Is Heavy Darling...So Leave it to Obi King"
Listen in as Obi and Taria run the gamut of emotions talking about REAL life and REEL life. We talk Obi the early years and his experience at a young age existing on both sides of the tracks, the mental weight being one of few black students and the stereotypes put on him, and the fight it took (sometimes literally) to deal with those emotions along with the gas lighting therapist who shared the same hue but held the same mindset of the people Obi had to battle everyday. We talk about his entry into the Housewives world via real life connection to Tamra Barney, possibly being ok with Linnethia Monique but feuding with Nene, and the tale as old as time...Team Denise or Team Lip Service. We end talking RHOP, the somewhat controversial side we take Candiace v Monique (it ain't Monique) and Gizelle's triggering comment. In the words of our Lady Liberty AKA Ms. United States 2013 AKA Candiace Dillard, "We don't play in the P honey!"Obi KingInstagram- @obibachandbravoYou Tube- Obi Ali KingWhat Else Is Going On PodcastInstagram- @weigopodcast @tsfaisonSupport the show
