Awareness Leads You To Truth - Philosophy of J. Krishnamurti
Our mind thinks in images, words and symbols but it is impossible to realize the truth through thoughts. But then why do all the sacred places like temples, mosques and churches have texts written on the walls, beautiful sculptures and symbols that hold a powerful message? Indian philosopher and mystic J. Krishnamurti says this is because these things are the product of human imagination. Imagination changes all the time but something that is beautiful always catches our attention, hence all sacred places pay a lot of emphasis on beauty. 12 RULES FOR LIFE is a self-help book written by Canadian clinical psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson. The book is based on mythology, psychology, ethical principles and obviously, Peterson's personal insights. The foundational idea of this book is that life is suffering but it is your choice to live in its denial and suffer passively or you can actively face the suffering and even transcend it. This summary is just an introduction to the ideas presented in the book and to properly understand the depth of the message, reading the entire book should be obvious.

How color affects your mood & behavior: Color Psychology
Color Psychology tells us how different colors can affect our mood in a positive or negative manner. This is mostly due to our associations of colors with everyday objects. A rule of thumb is to think about where does a certain color occurs in nature, what cultural significance does it hold and what is our natural reaction to that. For example: white color is often seen as a symbol of purity and cleanliness, it is also the color that, in some cultures, people wear on funerals. This makes white good, but only in moderation, any more than that conveys the message of sterility, impotence, sadness, and similar dull emotional states.

Why Joker is the BEST villain ever: Psychological Analysis (हिंदी)
Joker is one of the most popular and iconic super-villains in not only the DC universe but in the fantasy genre in general.
The Joker is portrayed as a criminal mastermind who is nihilistic and has a sadistic sense of humor. In the comics, Joker sometimes works with other villains of Gotham city but these relationships don't last long due to Joker's insatiable desire for creating chaos. His main aim throughout all comics and movies has been to make other people realize that deep down they are as evil as him and all they need is just a little push.
With his manipulation, Joker turned his psychiatrist Harleen Frances Quinzel into Harley Quinn, made Commissioner Gordon go crazy and led Harvey Dent to believe that being nice in this cruel world isn't worth it.
Joker represents a part of us that is so primordial but can be accessed at any time when needed. This subconscious relatability with the character makes it really interesting to have a deep psychological analysis and understand why he is the way he is.

Evolutionary purpose of depression
Evolution can explain why do we do certain things not others, why do we behave in a certain way or even why do we like the things we like, but when we put the evolutionary lens on depression, things get confusing real quick; because why would natural selection keep a behavior that can reduce fertility and increase chances of suicide? Psychology of Motivation | The most practical way to motivate yourself (AND KEEP YOURSELF MOTIVATED)
Watching motivational videos while sitting on your ass and doing nothing has become the new addiction. Most of us pump ourselves up and tell ourselves that we're gonna change; we're gonna get fit, study hard or start a new business that we always wanted. But the only problem with this anticipatory dopamine response is that - IT WEARS OFF & WE QUIT.
We slow down as quickly as we catch the speed. A big reason for this vicious cycle is our lack of self-awareness. We are not putting ourselves in the position to succeed by biting more than we can chew. It all feels fun and rainbows when you're an introvert and you get a sales job, but the new job becomes dreadful as soon as you approach a person. IT'S THE LACK OF SELF-AWARENESS.
This is why the best and most practical way of motivating yourself is to aim for the things you care about and things that can actually bring out the parts in you, you didn't know existed before and doing all this while doubling down on your strengths.

Does your job match your personality and I.Q?
We spend most of our lives working to acquire resources which are supposed to make our lives better but what is the point of a having a career that doesn't even resonate with your true self? It's not only about listening to your heart but also to understand yourself and what your strengths and weaknesses are.
By knowing where you stand on personality scale, you can allow yourself to grow by tweaking your path and hence, where you'll end up. Also, only by self-awareness you can truly make a difference in this world.
Neuroticism is the personality trait that predicts one's tendency to feel negative emotions. Females are known to score higher in this trait but males can be neurotic too.
People who are high in Neuroticism are known to feel negative thinking out past, present and even future, they are prone to depression and they can have really self-esteem, making them highly self-conscious.
Out of all 5 personality traits, Agreeableness is the one that can be the most confusing as it can easily be mixed with Extraversion or Neuroticism. But what separates it from the other dimensions is its power to make a person blind to his/her own needs. Females are more agreeable by nature as compared to men, as it is necessary a woman to be highly compassionate when she gives birth to a little human being who is really vulnerable and incapable of saving itself.
However, really high levels of this trait can make a person a pushover who is always being cheated and run over by others (disagreeable people).
Extraversion, as the name suggests, is the measure of gregariousness of an individual. These are the type of people who are outgoing and always up to socialize. The two sub-components that make up this trait are Enthusiasm & Assertiveness. Find us on Youtube: www.youtube.com/psychologyinhindi
Conscientiousness is the personality trait that is concerned with self-discipline, hard-work, aim for achievement and it is a positive predictor of life success. People who are high in this trait tend to lean more towards conservative political views, positive religious/spiritual beliefs and stable occupations. They follow the rules but you can't have much fun with them because they will judge you and notice every detail. These are the same people with whom you can't even eat or sit comfortably.'
Hyper-conscientiousness can make a person compulsive and a perfectionist but having a decent score in this trait keeps you stable and satisfied. Find us on Youtube: www.youtube.com/psychologyinhindi

Personality trait: Openness to Experience (Intellect, Creativity & Madness)
Openness to Experience is the creativity dimension of the Big 5 Personality traits. It's two sub-components are Intellect (interest in ideas) and Openness (creativity, imagination). This is the trait where the most intellectually curious, creative, artistic and imaginative of us fall into. So, we are talking about painters, writers, musicians and some of the most creative people (not all) from the fields of science, philosophy and movies.
Open people are those who teach us to see, feel and be sensitive to aesthetic work. They are the people who save the organisation in the ever changing market. But they are rare, odd and usually low in conscientiousness. In the video, I even discussed why there is a link between being creativity and insanity. Introduction to Big 5 personality traits (and knowing your personality type)
This podcast is an introduction to the Big 5 Personality trait model, that is used by the most psychologists and behavioral experts in personality surveys to understand and predict an individual's future decisions or actions.
The Five factor model Or OCEAN model is based on the foundation of Lexical hypothesis, which suggests that the individual differences that are most salient and socially relevant in people’s lives become encoded into their language. So, by using language as a resource and a sample a full spectrum and taxonomy of personality traits can be assembled. Find us on Youtube: www.youtube.com/psychologyinhindi
