He and his wife Orly have developed a unique method of RLA -–  Rapid Language Acquisition – and use it to help get students speaking Hebrew within a week.   Seeing art in the crosswalks Heddy Abramowitz is an artist whose paintings focus on the Jerusalem urban landscape. She is inspired by the mix of secular and religious people who cross paths in the neighborhood of Nachlaot, where her studio is located. He was gaining such a following and becoming so human that Wordsworth decided to write a book about him. The result is his first novel, “Alan Stoob Nazi Hunter,” a humorous debut that pokes fun at a sensitive subject that is rarely the subject of satire. An organization that brings eye surgery to people who need it just had a mission to Myanmar. One of their doctors, Dr. Nir Shoham-Hazon Director of Glaucoma, Cataract and Advanced Anterior Segment Surgery at the Barzilai University Hospital in Ashkelon has just returned from Myanmar, joins the program to explain their unique mission.   The enduring images of Robert Capa Hungarian born Robert Capa was one of the world’s most celebrated war photographers. But he hated war so much that when he came to photograph here in 1948, the IDF spokesman’s office was leery of him being too leftist. Many of his best images from Israel were photographs of everyday life in 1948. Curator Raz Samira from the Tel Aviv Museum of Art joins the program to help take a look at the life and work of a man whose images set a new standard in photojournalism.   A big birthday for the bard: Nearly five centuries on -- and still getting encores. This year marks William Shakespeare's 450th birthday. The Tel Aviv Tmuna Theater is holding a Shakespeare Festival between from March 8-15th. In addition to holding workshops and events, a modern spin on the Bard's Henry IV will premier.
