I'm so excited for you to meet Dr. Terica Butler. Last week, I asked for podcast topic suggestions and this was one that was submitted by a listener... How do you help your child choose a book that is just right for them? So, today, I'll be sharing two simple strategies to help you help your child pick the perfect book for his/her reading level! Have you ever wondered how to help your child pick a book? Maybe you’re worried that the books they are picking are too hard or too easy. You’re not alone.  It’s easy to get overwhelmed when you’re standing in a bookstore or library. I get asked all the time, “How do I know if my child is picking the right books?” That’s what we’re going to talk about today! And it really is important for them to be reading just the right books. Just right books help to build confidence, reading skills, and fluency as a reader. Today, I will give you two tools you can use to get started picking Just Right Books.
