GOP Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has lit up what would otherwise have been mind-numbingly boring Republican presidential debates by hitting the candidates HARD on their support for the warfare-welfare state. Is Vivek the future of the GOP?

Thanks to a FOIA request, an internal document from the Federal Reserve, known as the "Doomsday Book" has been released. The purpose of it is to guide The Fed's actions during emergencies. Emre Kuvvet, professor of finance at Nova Southeastern University says "the central bank—or at least the legal team at its dominant member bank—apparently believes it can rely on precedent to justify virtually any emergency action." Do laws lose their purpose when virtually anything can be justified? Perhaps Tacitus was right: "The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws."

The US House this morning joined the Senate in approving the massive, trillion dollar National Defense Authorization Act where Congressional leadership snuck in authorization for the government to continue to illegally spy on US citizens not suspected or accused of any crime! In the House, Speaker Johnson only passed the bill with the assistance of Democrats - a move that cost his predecessor his job. Will Johnson suffer a backlash for betraying his promises?

In a surprise move, "first son" Hunter Biden took to the media on the day he was supposed to appear before Congress. Hunter assured the American people that his dad, President Biden, had nothing at all to do with Hunter's extremely shady business successes while his dad was VP. Will America believe him? Also today: US Intel claims Russia lost 90 percent of its military. So...why was Zelensky in town begging for more aid?

On another desperation begging trip to the US, Ukraine president Zelensky tears into Senate Republicans hesitant to send over another $60 billion to what is widely accepted to be a lost cause. Universities have been in the news over the past week with the grilling of Ivy League university presidents over an alleged outbreak of "hate speech" about Israel. Is the new move against "hate speech" a continuation of wokeism or a return to free speech?

Empires grow and expand on lies. The bigger the empires, the bigger the mountains of lies have to be in order to sustain them. Ultimately, when enough time passes, even the lies start to lose their potency. They keep coming at rapid fire, but the number of believers start to dwindle. Empires require concentrated and centralized "narratives," along with censorship. Therefore, decentralized information, the freedom to choose where you get your information, and free speech are the only way forward.

With 'Russiagate" dead and buried (for now), President Biden is looking for new scares to warn voters off Trump. "He'll be a dictator," is the new mantra. Despite what you may hear in the mainstream media, poll after poll demonstrate clearly that the American people have very little interest in being involved in Israel's war on Gaza. The latest poll, released this week, shows that a majority of ALL American voters want a permanent ceasefire. Meanwhile, US Congress keeps stoking the flames of war and the President keeps delivering weapons. Also today...even Germany's Die Welt admits that Ukraine war likely lost.

The White House is becoming desperate to continue funding for its "Plan Ukraine," claiming that the money will run out in just three weeks' time. Zelensky himself has been summoned by Senate Majority Leader Schumer to make the case for more funding in a behind-the-doors classified briefing to Senators. Republicans are trying to tie funding to US border security. Aldo today: The Pentagon can't account for 61 percent of four trillion in assets. By design?

Weekly Update --- The Real Problem With Our Foreign Policy... by Ron Paul Liberty Report

Speaking at the Reagan Library over the weekend, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin (a former executive in the military-industrial complex) blamed chaos, bloodshed, and terrorism worldwide on Americans who oppose the US global military empire. Non-interventionists are the real enemy, said Austin. Also today: Shipping woes in the Middle East may lead to war explosion. Finally: They lost the J6 deposition tapes? Incompetence or something more sinister?

We seem to be moving (slowly, but steadily) to a multi-polar world. The U.S. empire is continually losing wars and credibility. Meanwhile, other major powers are stockpiling gold and forming economic relationships with other nations around the world. A hundred years of American wars have been fueled by debt, which are fueled by fiat money. Counterfeit money did this to us; and it can only be fixed with sound money.

As the US House is scheduled for a third - and likely successful - vote to expel Rep. George Santos (R-NY), the Congressman held an extraordinary press conference where he took no prisoners calling out the liars den on Capitol Hill. There are little lies...and there are the big lies. With a majority of Americans opposing further US involvement in the Israel/Gaza conflict, President Biden is finding that within his own Democratic Party support for his approach is even softer. Younger voters are solidly opposed to further US support for Israel's continued assault on Gaza. That is why while Biden's initial reaction tracked more closely with his neocon views, he is furiously backpedaling under pressure from his own party. Also today: Rep. Fire up your grill! The UN is set to call on Americans to eat less meat. In the real world, every individual is unique and free to choose whether or not to eat meat. That's obvious to a vast majority of people. But in typical cookie-cutter fashion, the UN presumes to know what everyone's dietary habits should be. Even though the UN has no authority to implement their bad ideas, it does give everyone a glimpse of the authoritarian globalist mindset.

Throughout history, authoritarians have been playing a futile game of whack-a-mole against the truth. Since authoritarians gain and maintain their power by propaganda and lies, it follows that free speech and the truth are their great enemy. America's foreign policy should be based on the policy of the Founders of our nation: "Peace, commerce and honest friendship with all nations; entangling alliances with none." We aren't even remotely close to such a policy; and it's costing us dearly. As our nation fails at being "the world's policeman," our livelihoods and standards of living are declining rapidly.

The U.S. government is now paying $1 Trillion in interest payments alone.

All of a sudden the Republican Party has returned to its 2002, neocon-dominated warmongering. The pseudo-debate last night signaled the return of the neocons and their disastrous warfare-welfare philosophy. Also today: Biden faces internal revolt over his Gaza policy as US troops hit harder and harder in Syria.

The White House admitted through National Security Council spokesman John Kirby that "many thousands" of innocent civilians have been killed in Gaza and that many more civilians would continue to be killed...but it refused to slow down weapons shipments or caution Israel over the death toll. Also today, only four House Republicans stand up for free speech in the censure of Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

Coming off a disastrous Middle East trip, at which he was shunned at every stop, Biden's Secretary of State Tony Blinken returned to a "dissent" memo signed by numerous State Department officials opposing current US policy. With poll numbers sagging for Biden - and even worse for Kamala - what's Team Biden's next move? All out war?

After Israel's bombing of a Gaza refugee camp this week killed scores of civilians, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told CNN that there should be "no limit" on the number of civilians Israel can kill. In a previous interview he urged Israel to turn Gaza into post-WWII Berlin. Also today, US House passes resolution authorizing attacks on Iran.

A new article in The Guardian details the enthusiasm among the masters of Wall Street for the wars in Gaza (and Ukraine), issuing "buy" orders all around for US weapons manufacturer stocks. Meanwhile, Gaza's largest refugee camp was blown to pieces yesterday. The Biden Administration is now considering sending US troops as "peacekeepers" once the smoke clears. Good idea?

What a difference a year makes. Just a year ago Time Magazine named Ukrainian president Zelensky its "man of year" and raised his status practically to a saint. This week's Time cover could not be more of a contrast. Have the elites finally thrown "Project Ukraine" and Zelensky under the bus now that a new shiny object - a Middle East war - has come around?

Weekly Update --- Biden Election Strategy: ‘Let’s Fight Three Wars at Once!’ by Ron Paul Liberty Report

The Biden Administration is demanding that Congress authorize a massive $105 billion to continue the war on Russia, to join Israel's war on Gaza, and to irritate China with weapons to Taiwan. Is this election season...or world war three? Also today: Illinois Governor is annoyed that Texas keeps sending him illegal immigrants. Will it spoil the Democratic Convention in Chicago?

With major U.S. interventions in Ukraine and Israel, one must not forget that America interferes in the affairs of nations all over the world; with U.S. taxpayers on the hook for all of it. Meddling in Venezuela was in and out of the news this week. The U.S. agreed to decrease economic sanctions in exchange for Venezuela holding elections under international supervision, and of course, oil. Is this the proper role for the U.S. government?

President Biden has completed his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, with media reporting that he gave a "green light" for Israel to begin a ground operation in Gaza. Many questions remain unanswered, including the role of US military assets in the area and what mission, if any, US troops might have in support of Israeli military action. Also today: Jewish peace groups arrested in US Capitol office buildings and rockets begin flying into US bases in Iraq and Syria.

On the eve of what was to be a highly-scripted visit by President Biden to Israel and Jordan, an apparent bombing of a hospital in Gaza tore the plan to shreds as anger at Israel and the US exploded in the region. The Arab leaders he was scheduled to meet in Jordan all bailed out of the summit, leaving just Biden and Netanyahu in an awkward embrace. Also today, Rep. McCaul to authorize US force against Lebanon? Biden to demand another $100 billion for Israel and Ukraine.

Media is reporting that President Biden is about to deploy some 2,000 US troops to the Gaza region in response to the recent unrest between Israel and Hamas. An additional 2,000 Marines are reported to join them and an additional 10,000 troops may be deployed in the two US Carrier Strike Groups that the US has sent to Israel's coast. Is Biden sneaking the US into a massive Middle East war?

President Biden sat through a series of softball questions on 60 Minutes last night in which he assured America that the proxy war in Ukraine and in Israel was "no problem" for us because "we are America, for God's sake." Will Americans agree that billions more are needed to be poured into what is now a two-front war? Also today, Switzerland looks to return to Neutrality.

The purpose of the U.S. military is to defend America, and not to perpetually intervene in conflicts around the world. Never-ending wars have bankrupted many nations throughout history. We should not pretend that we are immune from such an outcome. Endless wars need endless money. The Fed's printing press must counterfeit dollars to pay for them. Rampant inflation has also bankrupted many nations. Wars and inflation are the destroyers of nations.

How does Washington deal with sagging Republican support for more money to Ukraine? Put Ukraine aid together with Israel aid! And slap a few billion for Taiwan while you're at it! It's only our money. Also today: US interventionism fueled the bloody mess in the Middle East. But for the neocons only more interventionism can solve it.

Four days after the dramatic assault by Hamas forces on Israel, it appears Tel Aviv is about to send ground forces into an urban warfare situation. Neocons at home are urging a US attack on Iran. One and maybe two US carrier groups are in or approaching the region. War propaganda is blasting full force. Politico has trotted out an "expert" on the Tea Party Movement to put forth the idea that the Tea Party was always ONLY about McCarthy, Paul Ryan, and Eric Cantor, and with the fall of McCarthy the movement is finally dead. What does Politico get wrong? Everything. Also today Ukraine "freaking out" over end to US gravy train.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan is the first to throw his hat in the ring to replace Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker, as Ukraine money laundromat supporters on both sides of the aisle have gone full panic mode. Will McCarthy's defenestration signal the end of "Project Ukraine" in the US Congress? Also today, UK "out of weapons" for Ukraine and global weapons stocks are in free-fall.

We can't say that nothing is manufactured in America. The U.S. government and the Federal Reserve are a tag-team that constantly manufacture problems for Americans. They both quickly turn around and claim they'll fix the problems that they created. But their "fixes" just end up creating new and even bigger problems! The story of big government and central banking is always the same; massive arrogance followed by a humbling return to economic reality.

While each side is jockeying for position in political points, the fact remains that one of the main factors precipitating the coming government shutdown is the insistence by both parties to continue sending money we do not have to a losing war in Ukraine.
