DAP (Dads Against Predators) have been catching and preventing adults from taking sexual advantage of children all over the US. Originally started in Fremont Ohio they branched out into several states.Jay Carnicom and Josh Mundy have caught many people and prevented many more from hurting kids.. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to sit w/ Jay an Army Veteran and  reflect on both his time on active duty as well as in DAP.

April is a Navy Seabee from East LA. Started her career in the Navy Reserve went Active Duty for a few years then was ERB out. I have nothing but respect for her. Id take her to any fire fight or bar fight. SHe will carry her own weight. From Fallujah to Raleigh she will always be my homie. 

VA Home loans and VA benefits are tough to navigate so I asked Jeff to help understand some of the language and navigate the process of housing 

Doc Perez is a 20 year Veteran. He spent his career as a Hospital Corpsman  on several deployments both peace time and combat. He and Josh O'Brien  both served together in a battalion and deployed together 

Jeremy is a 20 year Navy veteran. This was recorded a few months ago when he was processing out of the Military in San Diego. I thought this was lost when I formatted a memory card I was excited when I found out I didn't .I served with his cousin who died in Iraq. I cant imagine a loss that close. He stayed in and still finished a 20 year career and this podcast picks up the very end of it.

 Updated September 2021 1 Presumptive Disability Benefits Whatis “Presumptive”Service Connection? VA presumesthat certain disabilities were caused bymilitary service. Thisis because of the unique circumstances of a specific Veteran’s military service. If a presumed condition is diagnosed in a Veteran within a certain group, they can be awarded disability compensation. What are “Presumptive” Conditions? If you are diagnosed with a chronic disease within one year of active duty release, you should apply for disability compensation. Examples of chronic disease include: arthritis, diabetes or hypertension. Or, if you served continuously for atleast 90 days and are diagnosedwith amyotrophic lateralsclerosis (ALS) after discharge, you can establish service connection for the disease. Doug is one of my oldest friends in the military from 1996 to this day we've always been friends now pretty much family.
