#141 Jaws 2 (1978)
Jaws 2 has been largely rejected by audiences as a cash grab at worst or a low-rent retread of the original at best. The audience's scores are low, but does Jaws 2 deserve a second look? Bob, Ryan, Pat, and James go scene by scene through the sequel to one of the biggest blockbusters of all time to see if it's really a bad movie that rules! Plus a shark eats a helicopter and that's cool, no matter where you're from!

#140 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze has been blasted by critics, and while it was beloved by children back in the 90s, what do those kids think now? Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, and Donatello take on the Shredder (or spoiler alert: they don't) and try to save New York one more time, while also learning where they came from! Let's imagine a Ninja Turtle movie where they never use their weapons, but are sticklers for observing the traditional pre-fight donut. #139 Delta Force 2: The Columbian Connection (1990)
Clint, Mel, James, and Bob are back with Chuck Norris as he face-kicks his way through South America taking on the cartel. Billy Drago plays the perfect early 90s slimeball cocaine mogul as he sends his endless supply of henchmen to take on Chuck before he seizes his mountains of coke. The movie is a complete departure from Delta Force 1 which tried to say something important, it failed, but at least it tried. What do you think of Delta Force 2? #138 Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001)
Stephanie, Joe, and the Mayor are back in Perfection alongside Burt Gummer as he continues to have the worst luck ever. No matter how many killer dirtworms (aka Graboids) he takes out, they seem to follow him all over the world. This time, back in his hometown, will he be able to stop them for good? Given that there are 7 Tremor's movies, I'm guessing no. At least we can have fun roasting all of this ridiculousness along the way. #137 Reindeer Games (2000)
What if Ben Affleck amid "misses" Forces of Nature and Bounce, made a heist movie that had plot twists on top of its plot twists, featuring an unhinged Gary Sinise and a young (crazy) Charlize Theron? A recipe for success you might think, but Reindeer Games got blasted by critics, and audiences and it bombed financially. Where did it go wrong? It had a great writer and an all-time director John Frankenheimer. Is it time to re-assess Reindeer Games or does it deserve its spot in the garbage heap of 90's cinema? #136 Santa With Muscles (1996)
Imagine the pitch meeting - "It's Santa Claus, right, but this one has muscles!" PRINT THE MONEY! Now, the rest of us are left to pick up the pieces of Hulk Hogan's Santa With Muscles (1996). Previous Hulk Hogan movies had him playing different versions of himself, and here he attempts to act and play a different character. It goes about as well as you'd expect. Many questions will be answered - how did Mila Kunis bury this performance? How can a lawn ornament bench press 300 pounds? Why is Ed Leslie playing an Asian? We'll pull it all apart, and then give out some awards, including our worst actor award, the "Steve Seagal" Trash Can Full of Dirt. #135 The One (2001)
Not too many movies out there featuring Jet Li in dreadlocks, but this is where we find ourselves. Even though The One (2001) is rated very low by critics, some swear this is an awesome movie. The movie made us laugh, we're just not sure it was supposed to. It also features one of the best Jet Li fights we've ever seen. We go scene by scene and answer the important questions - how did Jet Li get with Carla Gugino? Why is the only thing different in each parallel universe his hairdo? Why does Jason Statham have hair, and why can't he fight in this? We'll pull it all apart, and then give out some awards, including our worst actor award, the "Steve Seagal" Trash Can Full of Dirt. #134 Breakin' (1984)
Lace-up your high tops, folks! We're about to journey back to 1984 and witness the classic/catastrophe that is "Breakin'" (1984). Directed by Joel Silberg, who I'm sure has lots of breakdancing experience, this film doesn't have a single cardboard dance floor or Adidas tracksuit. We will break down the dance moves that somehow pass as the pinnacle of '80s street style. With a great soundtrack but a plot thinner than the spandex in an '80s workout video, "Breakin'" is a time capsule of dance moves and fashion choices that we thought were cool at the time. But here's the burning question: Does "Breakin'" transcend its retro charm to become a genre-defining classic, or is it just a dance disaster that time forgot? Grab your boombox and join us as we breakdance our way through the laughs, delivering our verdict on Breakin!Leave us a voicemail with your take on the movie - 262-757-8567Bad Movies Rule is a movie podcast about the movies you love even if no one else does. You can support Bad Movies Rule on Patreon here. You can join our community on Facebook and TikTok.You can email the show any movie-related questions for our mailbag episodes here.

#133 The Net (1995)
BMR delves into the '90s cyber-thriller abyss as we unravel the tangled web of "The Net" (1995). Directed by Irwin Winkler, this film shows us floppy disks that could destroy the world and the glorious 90s version of the internet.Join us as we hack our way through the implausible scenario of Sandra Bullock's loner shut-in who's unable to get a date. #132 Terminator Salvation (2009)
If 'Terminator Salvation' had a user manual, it would be one page long: 'Don't let the machines win. Also, don't yell at the crew.' Here we dive headfirst into the mayhem of "Terminator Salvation." Directed by McG, this film promises killer robots, Christian Bale's infamous on-set rant, and the eternal question: 'How did Skynet ever become self-aware but not aware enough to know where the resistance is?'With a plot that's as tangled as a bunch of tangled wires, "Terminator Salvation" is a rollercoaster ride of questionable decisions. Can robots go to therapy? They may want to after being in this movie. But here's the burning question: Does "Terminator Salvation" rise like a Phoenix (or Terminator) from the ashes of its mixed reviews, or is it just another misstep in the franchise? Join us as we reload our humor circuits, delivering our verdict on whether "Terminator Salvation" is a killer hit or a 'seriously, what were they thinking?' glitch in the matrix.Bad Movies Rule is a movie podcast about the movies you love even if no one else does.Leave us a voicemail at 262-757-8567, we answer them on our mailbag episodes. You can support Bad Movies Rule on Patreon here. You can join our community on Facebook and TikTok.You can email the show any movie-related questions for our mailbag episodes here.

Hold onto your maple syrup, folks, because we're diving deep into "Yoga Hosers". Directed by Kevin Smith, this film promises bratwurst Nazis, teenage clerks, and a healthy dose of nepotism. 'Yoga Hosers' is like an inside joke at a party you weren't invited to. You'll chuckle politely, but you'll wonder what you're missing. But here's the burning question: Does "Yoga Hosers" transcend its absurdity and find a place in the realm of 'so bad, it's good' cinema, or is it just another in a line of flops for this filmmaker? #128 Evil Dead 2 (1987)
This week we talk about the 1987 re-quel (?) Evil Dead 2 starring The Chin himself, Bruce Campbell. Seriously, his eyebrow acting in this movie deserved its own Oscar category. At the very least his chin or his hand should have gotten their own acting credits as they carry this movie centered around an evil force terrorizing people in a lonely cabin deep in the woods. Why did "Father" have to come to this remote cabin to read the Necronomicon? We don't ask salient questions here, we just chop at stuff with our chainsaw hands. This is an important life lesson to learn from this movie, when faced with a problem remove your own hand and replace it with a chainsaw. Problem solved! Join us as we navigate the residents of Beaverfield, trapped by a snowstorm and one of them is a werewolf. The town's emergency plan in 'Werewolves Within' seems to consist of screaming and running in random directions. #126 The A-Team (2010)
Here's the burning question - does "The A-Team" hit the bullseye as a nostalgic tribute to the 80s show, or is it just another loud mindless action movie? The critics hated it but even though the audience liked it, not enough people went to see it to justify a sequel. We go scene by scene through the movie. Murdock makes a plan and every one of them is about as foolproof as a screen door on a submarine. Get ready for the world of "Blind Fury" (1989). While he can fight better than sighted people, he ends up stuck in a situation that becomes like a terrible NPC escort mission. With the most henchman I've seen a bad guy have on the payroll in a while, and a plot that takes more detours than your last road trip, "Blind Fury" is a cinematic experience that defies easy categorization. But here's the big question: Does "Blind Fury" manage to carve out its own unique place in '80s action cinema, or is it just a quirky footnote in the grand history of movies? While Red Sonja trains tirelessly to avenge her family's murder and save her kingdom (and maybe find actual armor), Lord Kalidor sweeps in with his trademark Austrian accent, ready to take on the villainous Queen Gedren. Red Sonja - a film where the titular character is just a supporting act to the Austrian Oak that is Arnold Schwarzenegger. #104 The Wrong Guys (1988)
Looking to cash in on the 80's trend of stand-up comedians starring in movies, The Wrong Guys scours the C-list for a film about a group of grown men trying to relive their Cub Scout glory days. But in reality, it's just a story about a six-foot-tall man-baby almost getting himself and his friends killed by John Goodman in the woods.Starring Louie Anderson, Richard Lewis, and John Goodman, the movie is a mess of awkward jokes, cheesy slapstick humor, and wooden acting. After 10 years away from acting to be the governor of California, The Last Stand was Arnold's comeback movie. #56 Major Payne (1995)
Daman Wayans first big star vehicle. The critics hated it and deemed it "bad" but this movie seems to be beloved by the people. Why, is a completely different question - because I'm not so sure it's aged all that well. Comedy in the 90s was about loosely built plots constructed around big (sometimes annoying) characters. Then let the laughs commence. The four of us were pretty split, but I wonder what you think? Never before has a movie surprised us as much as Winners Take All. A seemingly throw away 80s movies about a bunch of bros riding dirt bikes actually turned out to be surprising engrossing. The only returning cast member from a previous Bad Movies Rule episode is Deborah Richter who was in Cyborg. Don Michael Paul (the future director) and Kathleen York star in this admittedly cheesy but awesome bike flick. The guests that join James Hauser for this episode are Clint and Joe (who also covered RAD, the other bike movie BMR covered), and joining them is Ryan M. Did the guys like it as much as James? BMR revisits what was thought to be a forgettable, throw away action movie. Is there a good movie somewhere beneath the surface that is trying so desperately to be cool and edgy? Do Kurt Russell and Kevin Costner have enough star power to pull this one from the muck?As with every episode, we walk you through the movie so even if you haven't seen it before, you can follow along with us. One of our more laid back episodes, we travel up over the border into Canda to drink some Strange Brew. This episode goes off the rails at multiple points, because the BMR crew can't keep it together while discussing the worst martial arts movie to feature gymnastics. In the early 80's there existed two Conan movies. One was good and the other was Conan the Destroyer. The movie that was famous for being a financial failure gets a chance at redemption. Is this the bad movies that people have claimed, or is there a diamond under all of the rough parts? Also, after 24 episodes of handing out an award named after Will Patton, we finally are talking about a film featuring an wonderfully intense performance from the man himself. There's so much to love, and we dream about what could have been. As always we dissect the film and then give out some awards to the (mostly) outstanding cast. #24 The Last Dragon (1985)
The greatest martial arts movie to ever feature glowing martial artists, Bruce Lee's belt buckle and the kid from Surf Ninjas. This 80s gem is almost as bonkers as whatever the filmmakers were on when they put this thing together. It's hilarious, the final fight scene is actually well done, and it's 100% rewatchable. But is it a good movie? Listen to the BMR crew trying to figure that out. On a podcast that celebrates the movies of the common people, this is a love letter to underappreciated employees across the globe. The Bad Movie Rules crew tackles our third Van Damme movie on this show, the under-watched, under-appreciated gem, Cyborg. What's not to love about a shot for shot remake of the Karate Kid but with bikes instead of martial arts? This is an 80s sports movie with all of the cliche's that come along with it. Don't expect us to run through a lot of Steven Seagal movies because there's very few that I can stand to sit through. Hard to Kill however, has a special place in my heart from my young adult life. I watched this movie way too many times. Now coming back to it for the first time in at least 10 or 15 years has made me realize that it's not nearly as good as I remember, but it's still awesome and highly quotable. #14 Three Amigos! (1986)
The first in the "actors-being-forced-into-real-scenarios" movies, and considered by some to be a comedy classic. Although there are some even in the cast who think this is one of the worst movies they ever made. Does this film stand up to the test of time? Is it a bad movie that rules or just a bad movie? Rob King and Curt Mummer (both actors themselves) join me to dissect the film and breakdown what worked and what didn't with this 80's comedy. #13 Megaforce (1983)
Tight guys in tight clothes doing tight things. That is Megaforce - it's as if the movie was written by a ten year old playing with his Hot Wheels in the sandbox. Have you ever seen an A-Team episode, now imagine if it was a full length movie, but instead of Mr. T you had Barry Bostwick in a skin tight golden suit. Does that sound awesome? Then you would love this movie. Even if you have never seen the movie, we will walk you through the train wreck that was Megaforce. #12 The Fifth Element (1997)
Pleeeese Halp - I used to be so lukewarm on the Fifth Element. Even though I was a big fan of Bruce Willis, at the time this came out I didn't think much of it. It was okay, but I never thought it was worth revisiting. After coming back to it at the suggestion of our first time guest, Jesse Hurst - I have now fallen in love with this movie. This is almost exclusively due to a new found appreciation for Milla Jovovich and her performance in this film, along with the undeniable chemistry between her and Bruce. We were joined by my long time friend and collaborator but also first time guest Nicole Frier and our one of our regulars, the Nebraskan himself, Brady Cox. Some movies that you may have felt one way about, might be worth a second look. I truly believe that certain movies hit different depending on where we are in life when we encounter them. #11 The Garbage Pail Kids Movie (1987)
The movie based on a trading card (which is always a great basis for a movie) was a huge box office flop when it came out. Even though there were thousands of kids who liked the Garbage Pail Kids, they couldn't get them to come see the movie. The truth is it was doomed from the start by a horrible plot (they form a sweat shop to meet a teenage girls demand for a fashion show) or animatronic heads that don't work (nightmare fuel). Whatever it was, this film is a disaster and we try to find a single redeeming quality. Is there a reason that this movie actually rules?

#10 Timecop (1994)
The movie that sees Jean Claude Van Damme roundhouse kick time right in it's stupid face. This is a fun time travel movie even if the majority of the time they are traveling back and forth between an indistinguisable 1994 and 2004. This is much more story-driven than typical JCVD fare, but it's a great movie and a lot of fun, with a great payoff in the final 30 minutes. Give it a watch and then come join us to pull it apart.

#8 Howard the Duck (1986)
The duck that almost sank George Lucas, while also simultaneously being responsible for Pixar's creation. Howard the Duck is a movie that has no idea what it wants to be. Does it want to be a kids movie? A comic book adventure? An 80's sex comedy? It ends up being none of these things, but yet somehow ends up with a large cult following 35 years later. We examine the movie and try to find some redeeming qualities, but here's a hint, one of them is not Tim Robbin's performance. Come have a laugh with us.
