Bedtime Stories: A Taxi Through Amsterdam EP 1/3

Welcome to the first episode of "Bedtime Stories" a series where you listen to Jerry telling you an original story made by Sugafly. Lay down. Breath in, breath out. Clear your mind, and focus on Jerry's voice.  -------------- Here is the story for if you want to read along: Hello. My name is Jerry. and today we are going to take a taxi through Amsterdam. We just got off the plane and are standing outside the airport waiting on a taxi. It's raining, a very friendly man asks if we want a drive to our hotel. We step in, the taxi driver takes our bags and put them in the back of the car. When the taxi driver sits in the car, he asks, if we want the radio on, we say yes, he turns the radio on, and we start to drive. We drive for 2 minutes and have to stop because there are people walking over the street to catch their flight. When we look out of the window, we see a couple crying and kissing each other, I think they haven't seen each other in a very long time. After 5 minutes of standing still, the cars in front of us start to move. The taxi driver asks where our hotel is, and we explain to him where our hotel is. We look out of the window and see so many beautiful lights, what we didn't know is that the Amsterdam Light Festival is happing right now. We see a beautiful rainbow made out of lights, we see a beautiful flower made out of light on the water. We see a ship full of tourists that want to watch the light show from a boat. We see a man lying on the grass to take the perfect picture at the right time.  We also see a takeaway restaurant and ask our driver if he could stop for 5 minutes, he says yes, of course, it isn't a busy night. We get out of the car and walk to the restaurant, we order some fries and a hamburger, while we are waiting for the food to be finished. We see a group of 15 guys and one of them has a princess outfit, it is his bachelor party. We see that they are clearly drunk and are having fun. One guy screams "it's his bachelor party he is going to marry his lady in 2 days". we hear from his accent that they are from the UK. The bell rings, our order is finished we pay for our food and go back to our taxi, we step in the car, and the driver says "hmm. that smells delicious". While we are eating our food we drive by the dam and see a beautiful building, it's Madame Tussauds a wax museum full of celebrity wax figures, we saw online we had to go there. We drive for 20 minutes and arrive at our hotel, and we passed various things we want to visit during this trip, like Madame Tussauds, the leidse plein, Artis and we, of course, want to do a canal cruise. We end our story here and will continue in our next bedtime story.
