Nigerian Born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu in 1991 started making music when he was just ten years old when a high school classmate gave him a copy of the FruityLoops production program. Armed with these tools, he started making his beats on an old computer. After graduating, he moved to London to attend college, but dropped out after two years and returned to Nigeria. In 2010, 19-year-old Ogulu traveled to the southern part of Nigeria, where producer LeriQ, who knew each other, ran a small studio. He enthralled himself in dancehall and the reggae music his father listened to and explored the Afrobeat music favored by his Grandfather, Fela Kuti's first manager. Twice As Tall, the expressive sequel to African Giant was nominated for Best Album in World Music at last year's Grammy Awards. Cuppy has her master's from NYU in Music Business.  The Vocalist, Businesswoman, philanthropist, and Producer continue to break boundaries. In this episode, we discussed David Adedeji Adeleke, the Atlanta-born and Lagos, Nigeria-raised artist known as OBO, or Davido; He was born in 1992. Davido is a well-known singer, songwriter, record producer, and family man!  A family man in the sense of making sure everyone on his team eats! Fireboy DML is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is signed to YBNL Nation, an independent record label founded by Nigerian rapper Olamide. Famously known for his song "Jealous," which has about 12.3 million listens on Spotify. In this episode, we reviewed "APOLLO" and gave it our honest opinion. Fireboy is very creative at giving us that love and certainty feeling. An interview with DAZED magazine stated that he would alternate between writing poetry and listening to music from western and Nigerian musicians.  One of his influencers is Africa's finest, Wanda Cole.
