As a fan of the Sopranos and Goodfellas, "capeesh?" was one of the few Italian words Katie knew before she moved to Italy.

Today's Italian words
Panino = Sandwich
Panini = Sandwiches
Biscotto = biscuit
Biscotti = biscuits
Un caffè = A short strong coffee (espresso) that Italians normally drink
Caffè americano = a long coffee (the way people normally drink it in America and UK)
Latte macchiato = The real Italian word for caffè latte
Bruschetta = Bruschetta (remember to pronounce it with a hard K sound, like brusKetta)
Peperoni = bell peppers (the vegetable, not the meat!)
