Growing up in the Queen City - Charlotte North Carolina, Sam Brown found his love for music in an adolescent fascination with audio engineering. At the tender age of 13, Sam began recording his older sibling's band's music at their rehearsals for fun. Eventually, Sam began writing, recording, and producing his own original material which naturally emerged from his musings in his home studio. At 19 years old, Sam runs a YouTube channel where he produces his own covers of popular music with an interesting twist. In these videos, Sam records himself one by one in a standard rock lineup (drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals). Every part is done in one take all the way through the song with no breaks or punch ins. In 2013 "37 Reasons" was independently released and garnered hundreds of thousands of hits on the Internet from various sources. Currently, the songs from this EP can be spotted in an array of media such as commercials, independent films, and YouTube videos.
