So I guess you want to know a little about me.I have been writing songs as long as I can remember. As a child I would make up little songs, despite the fact that at that time I could not play an instrument, nor did I have any way to record them. Eventually I learnt to play guitar and started to record them on to cassette tapes (and eventually 4 track tape).As is usual in life, all the usual commitments left little time for songwriting, I was told repeatedly to grow up, and so it had to take a back seat. Now I am able to get back into writing and I have managed to put together a little home studio and now I am continually working on new material. I have gone back into education and am currantly studying Sound Production in order to improve my recording skills and improve the quality of my music.In 2010 I was able to start writing again and entered the UK Songwriting Competition for the first time in 2011. I was thrilled when received a Commended Entry Certificate for my song “Tired”.In 2012 I entered “Dreamer (DG mix)” into the UK Songwriting Competition which received another Commended Entry Certificate. I also entered the Song of the Year competition and received a “Suggested Artist” award for my song Shades of Grey.2013 saw the addition of a Christmas song category in the UK Songwriting Competition so I wrote “A Very Merry Christmas” for that and got another commended entry certificate as well as one for “What more can I say” which was in the love song category.I hope you enjoy my music.
