I am Kook Kang (Cook Kang) and I am from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I'm a dedicated husband, father, & Christian rap/hip-hop artist in El Paso, Texas who loves God and people. Kook Kang means "Unusual King". I came up with it because it defines who I am in Christ (Romans 5:17). "Kook" is the root word for kooky, which can be defined as misfit, awkward, or unusual and "Kang" is slang for King. I'm not here to fit in, but to stand out like a light illuminating others and exposing the dark in Jesus name. I make music to glorify God and exalt his goodness, mercy, and grace. I make music to express how I feel and to help edify & inspire others. I make music because it's something I am very passionate about and I earnestly love to do it. If my music reaches 1 billion people that'll be great, but if it doesn't and only reaches 1 soul who receives Jesus Christ into their heart then that'll be extremely great. I am Kook Kang, the founder and owner of Greater Is In Me Records.
