With his high spirited, perfectly titled, dreamy-breezy, Latin-tinged tune “Summer Oasis,” versatile trumpeter Keith Fiala, continues to follow in the footsteps of and capture the musical energies of his mentors Maynard Ferguson and Arturo Sandoval. A founding member of the Austin based R&B group, Memphis Train Revue for 22 years, Fiala has toured the world with Ferguson and since 2017 has served as Sandoval’s road manager, personal assistant and practice partner.
