The cultural roots of DESERT WILL sprout from the high plains desert of Southeastern Idaho’s Rocky Mountains. Desert Will captures the appeal of Americana, Alternative, Indie Folk/Rock, and other such genres. Desert Will's debut album, TRANSMISSION FROM ORIONS BELT, is set to be released in the Summer of 2016. Brian Randall Carter (guitars, vocals, keys, percussion) pens the record and is joined by Tracey Cureton (vocals, bass) and Haley Hutto (vocals). Session musicians Eric Nielsen (percussion), Dallin Tolley (bass), and Daniel Watkins (guitars) add a rich texture to the production. TRANSMISSION FROM ORIONS BELT is a concept album inspired long ago by a small-town boy’s nightly gazes into a limitless, starlit sky. Carter and Cureton formerly collaborated in the bands THE TOMMYKNOCKERS and TRANSFERCASE.
